I started coming to SPENGA in 2019 shortly after they opened. I’ve enjoyed the classes and the instructors are all great, but my experience today was pretty disappointing. When I showed up there were no iPads to check-in on and no front desk staff to manually check-in people. With no way to check-in there were no bike assignments and so we weren’t able to see our zones during the spin portion of the workout. Since there were no other staff present other than the instructor, this also meant there was no one to clean equipment after each portion of the class. In the end, some very nice members volunteered to help out our instructor, Joanna, by monitoring the front door after class had started to let-in any late-comers before locking the doors and also cleaning the equipment we used during the workout. It’s pretty shameful that this is the type of service and treatment that paying customers would receive.

I really appreciate Joanna for maintaining her composure and still leading us through our workout despite these circumstances. Joanna is an amazing instructor and she deserves all the kudos for everything she has done to make workouts at SPENGA truly rewarding. Joanna has given each of us so much support on our fitness journeys and it’s disappointing that she wasn’t given the support to do her job today as I know she is one of the reasons that has made SPENGA such a worthwhile experience for myself and others.

Listen the workout is fun, Joana is amazing. I have a big problem with their customer service and inconsistency. I was a member for a year and the turn around with both instructors and personnel is high. Haven’t been in months keep getting charged and they claim it’s because of policies but they never follow their own policy when it comes to retention. I just want to stop being charged $200 a month for something I don’t go to anymore and no one ever gets back to you. Haven’t been in since October, why is this still an issue in February. The high turnaround is an issue because what one person tells you is going to change the next week because it’s a new person.

I had done HIIT workouts for years. After experiencing a couple of injuries I had to seek out another kind of workout. So happy that I discovered SPENGA! 20 minutes of spin (easy on the knees)- 20 minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of yoga. I have to say that the yoga will likely take me longer to master
than the first two:-) Long story short - I love it! Look forward to going to each class. Staff is helpful. Great selection of class times to fit my schedule. Looking forward to getting stronger and more fit.

I love that this studio incorporates three different types of fitness into one class. If you looking to get the most out of your workout in one hour, this is a great place to try. Everyone starts at their own level and so there’s no pressure to keep up with others. It’s you vs you. The instructors are all amazing. Dream workouts do exist. Spenga's 60-minute blend of spin, strength and yoga is the exact variety I had been looking to incorporate into my daily exercise routine. The class was equal parts challenging and fun. My instructor, Joanna, created an upbeat, comfortable and inclusive environment. I’ve been struggling to find a workout class that I enjoy and I’m so happy that I found SPENGA because I now can get a really good workout and stay consistent! The 20 minutes of spin, strength & then ending with Yoga is what intrigued me at first because I get to try 3 different classes in one and the workouts go by fast that you’re done before you know it. Within those 20 minutes you’re really put to work so don’t let the shorter increments fool you! The instructors are also what makes the classes enjoyable. They are fun, nice, energetic & guide you through your movements. I recommend for everyone to try SPENGA out if you’re looking for a good workout and some motivation!

I never thought I would enjoy working out. Buuuut... this place is bomb diggity! With it being a little over a mile from where I live, I had to sign up when they opened up in early 2020. I love the variety, and how it's constantly changing and always challenging me. The workouts WERK my entire body every single time! Spin.Strength.Yoga. What more could you ask for? I always leave exhausted, drenched in sweat, but I feel stronger every time! I appreciate that the gym is immaculately clean and the staff is always super friendly. Two snaps, a twist and a kiss to the instructors! They notice when you're pushing yourself and constantly encouraging you to do you - your best! This place is an all around win. From the minute you walk in and are welcomed (and I do mean WELCOMED) by the lovely staff you will feel like you belong, I find this important especially if you've been out of the gym for some time. Going to SPENGA class is the best part of my day! After a long day, nothing is better than being able to take an hour to focus on myself and my well-being.
I love the structure of the class- 20 minutes of indoor spinning, strength training, and yoga! The workouts switch as soon as I start feeling restless or tired which makes it so enjoyable for me. I have a hard time maintaining workout routines in the past but I’ve been coming consistently for 2 months and eager to continue coming and getting stronger.

I was nervous about taking fitness classes after being sedentary for over a year but I have had nothing but positive experiences here and have never felt intimated. I tried working out at home but it was hard to do it alone and I knew I needed some sort of group fitness class. I have felt nothing but positivity and encouragement from the instructors and always feel so welcome by the friendly staff. I definitely feel like I am part of a community and smile every time one of my song requests make the daily playlist.

Plus I appreciate how clean and distanced everything is and how we have our own pods of weights and that I can see SPENGA staff cleaning up equipment after we are done using it during this pandemic.

I was looking to join a new gym since the pandemic forced me to do home workouts on YouTube, ZOOM, etc., but after a month that got very old and I lost motivation. I tested three gyms in the area and was very impressed with my introductory classes at SPENGA Pasadena right away. I love the spinning and strength workouts, and really starting to enjoy yoga. Shantani and Shelby are amazing instructors full of energy, positivity and plays banging music--that goes great with the 60 minute workout! The staff is great and always greets members so kindly. I've seen them clean and sanitize the equipment after a class, and puts my mind at ease feeling safe during the outdoor workouts. I look forward to indoor workouts again. The Pasadena facility is just beautiful!

SPENGA Pasadena has truly saved me this past month and I 100% advise on going if you even have an ounce of a thought about going! SPENGA classes contain 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength (weights), and 20 minutes of yoga. They are 100% follow the COVID-19 guidelines- it is outdoors in the parking lot outside of the studio (as all gyms moved outdoors for now), we all wear masks, the workout is socially distanced, and they sanitize all of the equipment. They sell masks that are good for workouts, water, and you can buy or rent the yoga mat if needed.

I have a spin bike at home, and lets be honest, I rarely use it. It's just very motivating to go to a class where you have an instructor pushing you and correcting your form to maximize your workout, the music is pumping, you have a community working towards the same goal, and the vibe is just so much better than working out by yourself at home.

The owner is very sweet and helpful! Also, every instructor and member at SPENGA has been very helpful and friendly, but my favorite instructor so far is Shantani. She is a master instructor and if you take her class you will know why! She has an amazing attitude, is enthusiastic, makes the classes fun, and really loves what she does (and it shows). When an instructor is passionate about their class you will see it in how much they push you to your limit to achieve a great workout. She really wants you to reach your best potential and if you're willing to put in the effort, you will feel it. I have done spin and strength classes at other studios and it wasn't until Shantani's class that someone actually corrected some of my forms that make you really feel the workout! You are doing yourself a huge favor by taking her class!

Overall, I am very happy to have joined SPENGA through their unlimited membership so that I can lose some of this quarantine weight and MOVE during this time. Everyone here is amazing, it is COVID-19 compliant, the staff is easy to get a hold of, and I look forward to when the indoor studio is finally able to open.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Spenga!! It has been difficult staying motivated and working out especially during these times (when most gyms are closed), however Spenga has really helped me stay motivated! They have an early morning session that accommodates to my schedule. ALL of the instructors are amazing and really push you! I really appreciate the support when they see us push ourselves. I am inspired to give it my all every workout because of our instructors! I love how we wear our masks during our workouts, I feel that they are extremely cautious during these times. I joined Spenga since I am getting married this year and have a goal to stay healthy and get to my goal weight. I see the progression in the mirror and am inspired every morning to keep going. I came across Spenga in December. Spenga is like the perfect mash up of all the workouts you should be doing. Spin, Strength, and Yoga. Not only is it an effective workout but the staff at this location that makes me coming back because they are so good at what they do and truly care about their clients. They are professional, friendly, encouraging, warm, understanding, and funny! Such a lovely group of people who are invested in seeing you progress and are there to help you achieve your goals. Though you're in a class setting, you feel supported and not intimidated which for someone who is very shy and self conscious has allowed me to actually focus on bettering myself and my workouts rather than being worried about everyone else around me. I’ve been a member at SPENGA Pasadena since February 2020 and it truly is THE BEST WORKOUT EVER. I’ve always been active in the gym or have even tried other class memberships, but I have never been in this good of shape after having 3 babies. I truly look forward to my 7am training sessions Monday-Friday. The trio combination of spin/strength/yoga is AMAZING. I’ve never been much of a yoga person, but over time, I can see how much strength I’ve gained through yoga and it’s incredible! Also, the playlists/music is always on point! There’s nothing worse than doing a hard training session to a horrible playlist - amiright?!

I love the SPENGA workout format, it’s 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength and 20 minutes of yoga. It’s just enough of each focus to get good results without feeling like torture. I love that I get a well rounded workout every time without feeling burned out on any one thing. Everyone will feel perfectly challenged here, from a fitness beginner to a pro athlete. The studio looks like a luxury spa which makes me feel inspired to show up, and I’m really impressed with how spotlessly clean it always is. I LOVE that the staff cleans all the equipment for you and you never have to touch someone else’s sweaty equipment, or worry that the client before you forgot to clean up. Their new Covid safety practices make me feel really safe, to be honest they were always fastidious about cleanliness even before Covid. But the best part is the staff. The teachers have so much positive energy, I love the motivation they give. The rest of the staff always greet you with a big smile and make you feel so welcome. The greatest compliment I can give to SPENGA is that they have made a community out of helping their members feel better, do better and be stronger. The staff is the #1 best thing — very professional, very motivational and very fun! It's a welcoming and inclusive place and it has been perfect to support my personal goal of becoming stronger, more resilient and more flexible. The training is a 60-minute session that is equal parts spinning (stationary bike), strength/cardio, and yoga -- each a 20 minute segment. The great thing is that the instructors guide you through the class at a scheduled time with 20 to 25 other people, it's over in an hour, and you can get on with your day! My wife & I have never be "gym people" but we have been members since Day 1, train 5-6 days a week and we love it! I strongly recommend to anyone at any fitness level.

LOVE LOVE LOVE SPENGA!!! I MEAN IT!!! I’ve been on a workout journey for the last 6 years trying sooooo many different gym programs and although many were great was still in search of better fit. Then I found SPENGA around when they opened early 2019 and I’ve never gone back. I get a perfect mix with spin, strength and yoga leaving me feeling stronger each time. They have amazing trainers/staff that push you in a great way and are there to support anyway they can. Shantani calls me out when she knows I can push myself harder and she’s right every time! I brought my friend who was adamant about not spending extra money and she was hooked and been a member with me since. They are very clean and they do an amazing job taking additional steps through the pandemic to keep everyone safe. I have been a member of so many different gyms, even was a member of classpass so that I could keep a rotation for different workouts. SPENGA has it all, so now this is my gym. The workout is full body and it gets you working hard and you end feeling physically and spiritually fulfilled, with yoga. It’s totally worth it and the instructors are amazing keeping you motivated, engaged, and are all super sweet. The cardio is low impact with spin, you get your strength workout in, and end with a good stretch. Highly recommend the workout, at least give it a try. You will love!

I’m very particular about fitness studios and Spenga was my first experience where everything was done right. Customer service, cleanliness and the supportive instructors really take care of you and have the best playlists that are synced with the movements. Spenga Pasadena is truly an unreal workout experience that cannot be missed! I don’t have enough room to write the glowing things I’d like to say about this place. The owners are amazing and make it a point to know you by name and welcome you as family as you walk in the door. The instructors are phenomenal, upbeat, energetic, inspiring, and ensure you’re being safe with proper form throughout the workout. They collect all pertinent medical history so they can provide specific modifications to workouts when they see you’re attending class so injured people like myself (full ACL tear), can take a class safely without any pain whatsoever! The studio is CLEAN and extremely well maintained and the atmosphere indoors is killer for a workout. 20 minutes of spin, strength and yoga is an amazing blend of all important aspects of a healthy workout without having to spend tons of time in the gym while still getting a really tough but refreshing session in. Even recently outdoor classes during COVID have been unreal with so much positive energy dealing with adversity, while maintaining appropriate social distancing and masking guidelines... I truly feel safer at class than I do walking on the sidewalks!
Oh, did I mention the instructors bring FIRE playlists to each and every class? Yup, it’s the whole package.
10/10 recommend for those looking to get back to the healthy workout lifestyle.

Spenga is a great work out. You get 20 mins of spin class, 20 ,minutes of strength training and 20 mins of yoga. The instructors are all absolutely amazing. They know your name when you come in the door and always greet you with a smile. They are very helpful. I have really bad knees and can’t do some of the exercises, no problem they will give you other exercises that I can do. You work at your own pace. They even give you one free session to try it out before you join. Very clean facility. Don’t wait to try a Spenga class today.
