SquatBox Gym is a world class private gym focused on strength training in Santa Monica, California. SquatBox Gym offers personal training sessions, specializing in classic barbell compound exercises, lifting heavy weights. Head Strength Coach Rudy Mettia is a world renowned movement expert, having taught yoga to hundreds of thousands students worldwide, with nearly 40 years of strength training experience to his credit. There aren't enough good things that I can say about Squatbox Gym, but let me try by sharing my story.

9 months ago, I walked through the door not knowing my way around weights. In fact, up until then, I'd done a lot of work to simply avoid them altogether. I was clueless and intimidated, to say the least, but I wanted to learn how I could grow stronger and become better. 🙂

SQUATBOX IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I LOVE IT! ❤

The gym is just big enough to feel spacious, while also feeling warm and inviting, rather than overwhelming. Training with Rudy and Jenny is simply the best. They work with you one-on-one to create a strength training program that is tailored to your specific goals. They take things at your pace and comfort level, and give you the individualized attention and focus needed to build up your confidence. 🤩

For someone like me, who always felt discouraged or embarrassed to try and learn new things at the gym around other people, but also needed someone to help support and teach me, SquatBox is heaven sent - and Rudy and Jenny are the angels guiding you through literally each movement and breath you take. It's almost as if their strength training approach taught me how to be better attuned with not only my body, but my mind and spirit, too. 🤗

When you're there, you get the gym all to yourself, which makes me feel a lot less awkward and way more at ease compared to times I've been in other gyms, and it gives me a special kind of laser focus that allows me to commit and give my all to my workout. Every day I go in there, I feel like I walk out better than I came in, even though I'm exhausted! 😅

To add onto that, I can honestly say, I simply have fun there, knowing that I'm challenging and improving myself and having a good time along the way. Rudy and Jenny have become dear friends, and they really are the magic/secret sauce behind why SBG is so special. Plainly put, they know their sh*t and they're bad@$$ to boot. 💪🏼

I started off going twice a week and not long after, I bumped up the frequency of my training sessions to 3 x a week. I joke that if I could afford it, I'd be there every day. They're stuck with me and now, they can't get rid of me! 🤣 I guess you can say I'm officially hooked, and it really didn't take long at all for that to happen.

Everything about Squatbox is just incredible. Everyone should definitely experience it for themselves.
