We are a results based fitness community that specializes in Group Class Training and Olympic weightlifting. We provide a team atmosphere for athletes of all skill levels , coached by national tier coaches and experienced athletes. We also offer specific strength and conditioning training programs for local sports teams.

It was my first time at Standard Strength today and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I got street parking outside, then checked in at the iPad (which is at the back if you’re entering from Winchester boulevard). There’s a restroom, water refill station & cubbies. We started with 3 rounds of a warmup including an active stretch, then went into 4 sets of 6 quality standing press reps with the barbell. I partnered with two other folks, then we ended with an 18 minute AMRAP of 3 moves done 18x each. It was incredibly challenging and intense, but an excellent workout! I’ll be back :)

My wife and I have been going to Standard Strength for the last 6 months. What I absolutely love about them is you can walk in , leaving behind your insecurities and be in the moment. Incredible coaches, motivating peers and absolutely amazing music. If you're looking for a strong community that is going to push you to your limits, this is it !

This was my first time at a Cross-fit studio. This class was designed for 50+ and it was a great intro. Todd is a great instructor who focused on form and function. It was just right from me. I would recommend Stadard Strength for any level. They have lots of classes.

I went to my first cross fit at Standard strength. I was concerned because I am a beginner. Kaleo and his team were so great. They reassured me it was going to be ok and they helped accommodate everything to my level. Everybody including coaches and other people taking the class were super nice and helpful. I will definitely go back.

Attended a couple of Weightlifting classes under Kaleo and Danny, via classpass. Amazing guys, amazing gym and I always learn so much there. This was undoubtedly the most valuable experience I’ve got across all of my classpass bookings. Full bang for buck!

Started weightlifting as a beginner and the experience has been really great! All the coaches I've had (shout out to Kaleo, Antoine, and Alex) are super friendly, extremely knowledgable, and have gone out of their way to provide extra support since I'm a beginner. The community of regulars that come are so welcoming and they're always cheering each other on. And if you're a female don't be afraid - there's a good amount of women there too! Oh and the doggo is such a good boy!

I had the chance to drop into Standard Strength on Saturday and was blown away by how amazing their community is! They were all very welcoming when I walked in and encouraged me every step of the way during my workout. I could see myself joining this gym! I have been a member of Standard Strength Crossfit since at least 2017, and it is the hometown favorite. A lot of athletes switch from other gyms, or even continue coming to Standard Strength after moving farther away because of the small group community atmosphere. It’s a great place to get fit. The coaches are excellent. It’s home.

This is the first place I ever tried CrossFit and Since the first day, I never felt to need to look elsewhere. This is the best place I’ve ever worked out in. The coaches are super knowledgeable and courteous and give the best scaling options based on your individual strengths. They also give lots of encouragement and motivation to push your limits when you don’t feel confident yourself. My fitness and confidence improved so much while training here. Besides the community of members is the best and make it the most enjoyable experience. This is a happy place and I loved it here.

This is a great gym. I started as a true beginner. The coaches are super friendly and helpful for a beginner. The community is amazing. It's been a year, and I grow from going no more than 3 times a week to 5-6 times a week. I can already see a tremendous change.
Oh, I also want to mention that they have CrossFit Kids program and youth weightlifting every Saturday. Both of them are amazing programs for younger ones. My 7 year old daughter loves it.

I came in not being able to run a mile, not being able to jump on a box, to losing body fat, running a 10k, being able to jump on a 20 inch box, and being able to lift heavier weights. This is a life changing gym for me.
There are different levels of athletes here and my favorite part is that no matter the level, the community is encouraging and happy for your accomplishments.
You receive more than just a gym membership, you receive a planned workout, coaches that guide you, encouragement, and an amazing community.

I love this gym! I have been doing CrossFit now over 4 years and I'm still amazed what skills I have learned. I started working out when my baby was 6 months old and at the beginning I couldn't even run 400m without taking a break. Couple of months into I ran a 10k without stopping once. My endurance got better, I got so much stronger and on top of it, working out is so much fun with this group of people!

The first day I walked into Standard Strength during my free trial week, I can’t say I wasn’t nervous or scared! Being a working mom of 2 young kids, socially awkward after 2+ years of Covid, skinny fat, weaker, older and on top of it all, I have zero knowledge of crossfit and weightlifting… I was definitely out of my comfort zone. Initially for me, it was 100% about getting back into shape. After learning proper technique and seeing progress month over month, it became more than aesthetics. Standard Strength has introduced me to the fitness industry and welcomed me to their family/community that I never knew existed. The coaches are genuine, authentic, super knowledgeable in their field and so relatable. The members always cheer each other on, always! Who knew being the last one would make you feel as if you worked the hardest?! For me, it’s all about the people that keep me coming back and committed to my life goals. This gym is the greatest! I was apprehensive of trying out a crossfit gym because I would not consider myself athletic at all and it seemed intimidating, but I’m so happy I tried it. The coaches and staff are so supportive and there’s always a “scaled” version of the workouts so no matter what, I get a good workout. It’s now been almost 3 years and I’ve grown so much and have made incredible relationships. It feels like family there and I try to get everyone I know to join!

Great Crossfit Gym for Beginners!
I signed up for a free week, and it was my first time ever doing a crossfit class.
The trainer was really encouraging. I like the fact that there are folks of all different shapes and fitness levels and ages.
Mike is a great trainer and really cares, he is always encouraging students to finish, and focuses in on proper form always.
I think I have found my 2nd home... so excited in becoming a member.

My 7 year old weight lifts at Standard Strength and has participated in some of the cross fit activities for kids at the gym. She absolutely loves this gym and the sense of community. She loves her coaches and this has been the only activity she has enjoyed and we have tried them all! We have a garage full of volleyball, tennis, softball and other sports equipment. My husband also tried crossfit and was hooked. He is an army veteran and really likes the crossfit programs they have in place. I definitely recommend this gym and they are very welcoming and have created a great sense of community and a gym for the entire family!
