I started bringing my daughter to preballet in 2022, and since then she has completely fallen in love with dance and this community! Now she's taken ballet, jazz, tap and performed in both the annual Nutcracker and spring recitals. We are so thankful to Miss Patty, Miss Amber, and Miss Genevieve for their hard work and dedication to this studio. They've created a big family here, and it's been so rewarding watching my child grow her skills and confidence. She's quiet and focused in class, but on that stage she shines bright!

My daughters, Kruz and Deker, have been dancing at Starlight since 2018. They love Starlight and consider it a second home. They adore their instructors and coaches there, including Miss Patty, Miss Amber, Miss Gen and Miss Kat. They have learned the art of dance and performance as well as the virtues of dedication and grit. This is a dance studio but it's also family to our girls and we are so grateful.

This is the best place for adult ballet in the whole Palm Springs valley. There are other classes that pop up in the area from time to time, but this one is the most constant and offers the best variety and quantity of levels for adults (and children too, of course, many many courses and different kinds of dance).

This is my daughters first run with dance, and she is in HipHop 1 and Ballet 1. She loves both classes and really is enjoying her dance journey. She is looking to do musical theater, jazz, and tap for the following season, and I am also looking to do adult Tap :). I highly recommend Starlight for all your dance needs.

Starlight is a special dance studio in many ways :) They offer different styles of Dance; ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, musical theater and Adult classes too!
The environment is very warm & positive...you can tell the students really enjoy their classes and their teachers :)
Every winter, Starlight presents "The Nutcracker" which is such a magical experience for dancers!!!
Last, but certainly not least, they have a competitive Dance Team that competes all over So. California.
I highly recommend this studio whether you have a child just starting to dance and/or a seasoned dancer looking for a new place to further develop their craft.

This place has been amazing from the beginning for me (10 year student and ex professional dancer). If you want to take from some of the best dance teachers in the valley this is the place. They are always super nice, supportive, and clean. If you are looking for a place to start dancing at any age and for any reason come here you will not regret it.

Starlight Dance center is the most friendly dance studio I have ever been to. The students are amazingly friendly and helpful (I have yet to find someone there who is mean at anytime), the teachers are kind. The studio is very clean, and they sell water bottles if you forget to bring one. Again the people there are much nicer then at my last studio. The teachers push you to succeed and all the shows always turn out fantastic. If you do ballet or pointe this is definitely the place to be (I know that I have gotten a lot better at pointe since I have joined.). If when you join you are put into a lower grade class then you think you should be in don't worry because as I have found out that is probably where you should be. They also have amazing dance teams like team supreme. team performance, and team impact.

The prices are affordable. The cleanliness is spectacular. The reason I give it a poor quality review is because the teachers are not as friendly as they should. I enrolled my daughter because she was going through depression and bulimia and her doctor recommended her to do a form of exercise. She loved it. Unfortunately, she was hospitalized during the show rehearsal's. When she went back, one of the teachers had yelled at her for being late. She was half an hour late due to the fact that we received distressing news: a family member passed. I take full responsibility for her tardiness. But the fact that she had yelled at her and humiliated her in front of her peers was not correct. The teacher automatically assumed that she was tardy for her irresponsibility and pointed all fingers at her. I understand that the teachers are really stressed around the time of the shows, but that does give them the right to yell at their students. They are not aware of the student (in my case, my daughter) is going through therefore they should treat ALL students with respect and consideration and their ethnicity should not matter.
