Iβm so happy that Iβve joined this gym. I opted for a semi-private training sessions and work with James. I train a few times a week and the sessions are 30 minutes. I feel stronger and itβs at a pace that is encouraging. James is great at communicating, flexible with accommodating any concerns or soreness and I donβt feel rushed. As mentioned, Iβm really happy with this gym and plan to keep up with my membership. Your health is worth the investment!

Still got it fitness is amazing. The name got my attention, for people over 50. I thought at first this would be an easy exercise program that I could do at my age., I'm in my 60's It is not an easy workout by any means. For one hour 3 days a week I go straight from work to the class, and the workout isn't strenuous like aerobics but it is hard, tonight was the first time I was able to complete the entire workout without having to take a break to rest. I did however work up a sweat. Everybody is very nice and understanding. There motto is simple; Have a good time and smile. They make getting healthy fun. I have been going for almost 2 months and it's amazing how good I feel. I still have a long ways to go, my classmates have been going for years and it shows. They are in great shape and with the help of Bruno and Karen I will be too, soon. After two knee replacements and two hip replacements, I thought my physical fitness days were behind me. I was wrong, because I am getting healthier with every class. I am so grateful for that. I highly recommend this place for anyone over 50 who wants to get healthier, stronger, and have fun.

Still Got it Fitnes is the only gym I've ever been able to go to for more than a couple of months, i get bored quickly!. I've been going there for almost almost seven years now and still enjoy it!
They have a variety of groups and classes, all adjustable depending on needs and abilities. Everything from balance, step aerobics, weights and circuits and more!
I'm in the best shape and stronger than I have ever been!
Both the staff and clientele are great. They are always coming up with new routines and exercises to keep us from getting bored, and that they do!
Just come and check it out, that's the hard part!! You won't want to stop.

Iβm pretty active but know that we all lose strength as we age. Iβve never been good with gyms and have wasted loads of money over the years paying for memberships at gyms that I never used. SGI is much more than a gym as you are really paying for the training. My trainer, James, has taken me farther than Iβve ever been by constantly changing up the workout. It isnβt just about strength, but also about balance, stability and posture. And they cater the workouts to the individualβs needs. I feel lucky that we have SGI in the South Bay!

I love the small intimate experience with the staff, and thereβs no one better than Dan if you want a professional, knowledgeable trainer (then again, James is awesome too!). I joined Still Got It Fitness to gain strength and help me to restore balance. I had previous health issues and did not want to continue to go downhill. It has been over 4 months now, and I definitely have increased my stamina, strength, and ability to walk greater distance. I just returned from a family vacation and am happy to say I was not a burden to them. I currently have semi-personal training with Sna, and attend the Fall Prevention and Balance groups twice a week when I can. Thank you Still Got It!!!

Love SGI! We wanted to make sure my 83yo father in law kept active & social and we found Still Got It Fitness. When we initially went in to check it out, we were immediately welcomed by Bruno who went over everything they offer. He was friendly, super knowledgeable, and made us feel really comfortable. Everyone there was friendly, they have a table for activities (good for staying social for the older seniors), they have a lot of classes (love fall prevention for my FIL), & the trainers are all friendly & knowledgeable.
My FILs trainer is James & we love him! He understands my FILs limitations & works on strengthening but is careful with injuries he has. James is also super patient with my FIL, who is a big talker & loves clowning around!
The gym is clean & my FIL loves the decor! The trainers are all certified in Senior Health, but don't let that deter you if you're younger than 83!
The services offered are affordable for personal training & definitely worth the investment, especially when we're dealing with seniors.
Side note: Buddy is the resident mascot & they also donate to kitty rescues.

Came into Still Got It Fitness today for a chamber meeting. I emeditly noticed the group in the work out room, they were my age! 60ish.

Wow, what a find! Bruno and his team focus exclusively on folks 50+ years old. That commitment means everything is tailored for βusβ. Relieving pain, moving better, and having an overall better quality of life is top of the list for me. And they deliver. Itβs not at all intimidating nor overwhelming like other gyms. Welcoming, comfortable, great camaraderie. Itβs a very different kind of place. Not what you think of when you think of a βgymβ. The new Functional Training Program is awesome. And the fact that you can get all of this in the South Bay very near Palos Verdes is pretty darn amazing. Thank you Still Got it team!!

I've been searching forever for a gym with small group classes for older adults that included strength training, balance and agility. Most gyms and physical trainers are geared only to those in their 20s to 50s, not considering that the muscles and ligaments in someone in their 60s and older are not as flexible or strong as in younger people. I was so happy to find the Functional Mobility class. I love that it includes so many different forms of strength training, balance and agility exercises all done in a circuit. Each time I've gone, there have been different exercises. I just love it.

SGI is a more intimate gym with lots of personal training programs and fun classes. Everyone working is so nice and caring. I have attended classes at βStill got itβ for about two years in that time my cardiologist has lowered my high Blood pressure medication two times.. I have a personal trainer and I go to a balance class and I am getting stronger. βStill got itβ is more than a gym. We have chili cook offβs,Casserole parties and celebrate all holidays. Itβs more like a club where friends go .The staff is just wonderful. They are very professional and caring. One thing I like is that they allow you to come in and observe classes..

Highly recommended for over-50 whose physical well being isn't what it used to be. I'm in my 70's and in the one month I've been taking group classes with like individuals my sense of balance has improved, the ground isn't as far away as it used to be, and I don't trip over rugs and cracks in the sidewalk like I used to. This is the only gym and exercise program that I have ever stuck with. It has been three months now and Iβm moving so well and can handle tasks effortlessly throughout my day. Once you get to a certain age, often we never want to go to the gym because we feel intimidated & think it will be just too hard, so we just give up. After over 10 years sitting at a desk and behind a steering wheel with very little physical activity, it was time to do something about my health and fitness.
The cross fit and boot camps looked a bit too high impact and high probability for injury.
SGI popped up on my Facebook feed shortly after my 50th birthday, and looked like a doable option.
The trainer let workouts are fun and self regulable. The class members are all pleasant and welcoming. I lost 15 pounds over the first six week challenge period with the workouts alone. Another 25 over the next year with reasonable and sensible diet adjustments.
My joint and muscle pain has all but vanished and my strength, flexibility and overall fitness have greatly improved.
SGI is fantastic and has probably added a decade of healthy living to my life... So far!

I was looking for a place that I could work on my body and feel good while doing it. Having had three knee surgeries working out was tough on my joints at other gyms. I have been training with one of the owners,Travis Graham, for over 4 years now. I began working with him after I had neck surgery. I was looking for a trainer who would guide me carefully and gently, yet challenge me to become stronger and have the energy to stay fit. Travis has definitely done that and more, by giving me a personalized workout and daily lifestyle that keeps me engaged and challenged. I have never felt better.

I love this gym. It's not like a gym at all. Maybe that's why I love it. First, it's for people over 50. No pink spandex or sweaty guys on steroids who yell at everybody. There are couches in the front room, a cardio room, a weight room, and a big airy classroom for Yoga and Balance/Mobility Classes. The real difference is the philosophy and the attitude of the instructors, though. Most gyms sign up lots of people and hope they never come. But SGI instructors tailor exercise and dietary guidelines for you. You get personal help, and they care about your progress. Exercise is the closest thing there is to the fountain of youth, but I only discovered later in life that it doesn't have to be painful.
