Strength Collective is my new favorite gym in San Diego. It just opened, it has the best equipment, and the vibe is perfect for focusing on your goals. No distractions. The staff are incredible. Real athletes that compete and coach. Its a clean, well-designed gym that makes it easy to lock in and train hard. I highly recommend this gym whenever you’re in San Diego.

The Strength Collective is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a part of!

After losing 186 lbs, I was looking for a place that could help me rebuild muscle, gain strength, and support my recovery — and this gym checked every box. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely invested in your progress. They take the time to make sure you’re doing things right, whether you’re brand new to training or getting back into it like me.

The variety of equipment and stations here is amazing — everything from strongman implements to traditional powerlifting setups, turf areas, and conditioning tools. You can tell this space was built for people who truly love strength training, but it’s also super welcoming to anyone looking to move better and feel stronger.

As someone with fibromyalgia, the Recovery Room has been a total game changer. The sauna, cold plunge, compression boots, and massage tools have made a huge difference in how quickly I recover and how good I feel after workouts.

On top of all that, the membership pricing is incredibly fair for everything that’s included — especially considering the quality of coaching, equipment, and recovery amenities.

If you’re serious about getting stronger, improving your health, or just want a gym that actually cares about your goals, The Strength Collective is where you want to be. I will continue to come back again and again.

Thank you Coaches Blake, Gregory and Shane!!

Strength Collective is hands-down one of the best gyms in Santee! It’s perfect for the average person who just wants a clean, friendly place to work out without the crowds. The gym is super organized, spotless, and never packed—so you can actually get your workout done without waiting on equipment.

I love that it’s 24/7 access, which makes it easy to fit in a workout anytime—morning, night, or even after work. The vibe here is awesome too. The community is super welcoming, and both the coaches and members are helpful and encouraging. You don’t need to be a bodybuilder to fit in—just come ready to move and feel good.

If you’re looking for a local Santee gym that’s clean, affordable, open 24/7, and has a great atmosphere, Strength Collective is 100% worth checking out. Great spot for anyone who wants to stay consistent and actually enjoy going to the gym! 💪

This gym is very unique for what it is. A clean and modern gym that has strongman, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and bodybuilding equipment. Everything has its proper place and is one of the cleanest gyms I’ve been in. They have all the equipment that you need or want with tons of leg machines. The 4 coaches that train clients there are all elite level strength athletes or they coach some of the best in the world. I had such an enjoyable time training here. They also have pre made meals and a recovery room. Anytime I’m in the area I’ll go there to do my workout.

I heard they had some very rare large dumbbells, I went to check it out and they showed me around and let me have a go. I failed at the 80kg, but they were supportive and excited for me to improve and get the lift. This place was spacious, clean, but also had chalk for members. It is ideal for people who really want to work hard and improve. I will become a regular guest, it's just too far for me to go for a workout every day, even though it is close to the freeway and has great parking, it's a little far for my every day gym. But the day passes are reasonable and I see myself going there at least once a month for big workouts. If you want to improve your strength and be in an environment that supports improvement, come check the place out.

This place has great vibes, amazing implements, and people that want to see you push yourself to be your best and strongest. This place is new but going to grow with even more equipment and people very quickly. Anyone in SoCal or East County needs make sure to stop by and check it out. Or even take it for a spin with a very cheap $15 day pass. First time walking with 1,010 lbs yoke.

I went to opening day at The Strength Collective, and it was honestly such a great experience. The energy was high, the turnout was solid, and you could tell people were genuinely excited to be there.

What really stood out to me was the setup — they have a huge variety of weights and specialty equipment, including things you don’t normally see in a typical gym, like a Slater log. Everything looked brand new and was super well maintained. It’s clear they’re serious about strength training and creating a space for people who are into it.

You can tell a lot of thought went into the space. It already feels like a place where a strong community is going to grow. 100% check it out!

Very nice gym! Friendly staff, the equipment is super nice! I really like the space you plenty squat racks and room for sled pushing! They offer meal prep services which I thought it was super cool to stay motivated on your fitness journey. I live 2 and half hours away from it but I’ll definitely be going when I’m in the San Diego area!

This has to be one of the best gyms I know! I have personally known Hoffman for years and he is an incredible man. He has come so far with conquering his dream! We couldn’t be more proud of him. I love how he has everything set up very orderly and is continuously trying to make the gym even better in many ways! Please come join his gym, you won’t regret it!

I attended the grand opening of Strength Collective on Saturday, July 19th, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.

This isn’t your average gym—it’s a Strongman training facility loaded with specialty equipment like atlas stones, yokes, logs, and farmers carry implements—the same kind of gear you’d see at a World’s Strongest Man competition. But it doesn’t stop there.

They’ve also got everything a serious powerlifter could want: combo racks, calibrated plates, deadlift platforms, and a wide range of specialty bars. This isn’t your typical commercial gym—it’s a training environment built for performance.

I went with a few friends, and we tried the overhead log press for the first time. We had no clue what we were doing at first, but a few members noticed, came over to help us with technique, brought out pads for safety, spotted us, and cheered us on. That kind of encouragement and support made a huge impression—it’s clear this place is built on community, not ego.

The owner also mentioned that they’re adding top-tier recovery tools like an ice bath, infrared sauna, massage equipment, and a full bathroom with a shower. They’re serious about supporting athletes from training through recovery.

If you’re into Strongman, powerlifting, or just want a serious place to train surrounded by people who lift each other up (literally and figuratively), Strength Collective is the real deal. I can’t wait to go back.

The strange collective coupled with West Coast weightlifting is the absolute definition of a Premier gym. You walk in and look at the place you’ll understand why!! Blake and West have done an outstanding job cultivating a community built on strength and recovery

Only the best equipment to build strength, recovery, sauna, and cold plunge to recover and a “grab and go” meal prep style fridge to keep you fueled and ready before you leave the gym

This is the one stop shop for everything you need to be a better, healthier and stronger person. The facility is incredibly clean and organized. The staff is friendly and welcoming! And it’s a community you can connect with and get stronger with. Judgement free zone to get better! If you have a program and just need a place to make it happen, this is the place. If you need detailed coaching specifically for you, this is the place. In addition, there will be a variety of recovery programs and tools to maximize your ability to grow. This is it! You don’t need to go anywhere else!

Strength Collective is by far- the best gym I’ve worked out at. Equipment is GREAT, they have all the tools you need to be successful! My favorite machines are the leg curl and leg extension machines they have. The community in there is close knit and everyone is friendly and supportive. They keep the facility clean, which something definitely worth noticing.
I would absolutely recommend Strength Collective to be your new gym home!
