Over the course of the past six weeks Strength RX has helped me with my health, physical fitness, but most importantly, my mental fitness.
I started the 6 Week Challenge with them because I needed an external motivator to get me off the couch and in the gym. I had become too comfortable with being my size and had no internal motivation to do anything about it.
Singing up for the six week challenge gave me a reason to try. Strength RX held me accountable for my weekly gains and losses and motivated me to keep going when I wanted to stop. Over the course of the six weeks I developed a mental fitness that has stuck with me even afterwards.

This place really helped me get back to feeling myself! Not only did I make my goal, I found a nutrition plan that's simple, effective and easy to maintain :) I'm incredibly grateful for their commitment to their clients. The weekly check-in texts kept me motivated every week when I was really busy at work and missed a few classes. I really struggled to maintain a fitness lifestyle on my own and I discovered that the group environment with great coaches really works for me. I'm stoked to have found a gym that suits my style and has fun, fast paced classes.

Most amazing gym i've ever been to! I had gym memberships since I was 18, went to different gyms, but I never really lost weight or saw any incredible results. At strength RX I was taught how to eat, how to work out, how to build a routine that would help me drop the weight! The results have been amazing. I look better than before I had my baby! The team is amazing and helps you stay on track and motivated. I absolutely fell in love with crossfit!

After finishing my 6 week challenge I can say that I feel great, I learned to see my body in a different way, that more important than being thin is to be strong and resistant, I learned a new way of eating where I feel mental and physically satisfied, doing this challenge taught me to have a new lifestyle where I am sure I can keep it to a long term.

I started going to strengthrx Crossfit about a month and a half ago, and they really helped me achieve my goals. I lost 8% body fat by working out and following a strict diet. Although it wasn’t particularly vegan friendly they were still willing to work with me and keep me accountable. The coaches are super friendly and welcoming. The other people going to work out are also just as welcoming. I thought I was going to feel intimidated at a Crossfit gym but that was far from the truth. If you cannot 100% do something they can help you modify a workout so you don’t hurt yourself. This is a really great place to get into Crossfit because a lot of the clients also haven’t tried it before so you’re all learning together.

I cannot recommend StrengthRX enough. Having never experienced a CrossFit workout before, I'd always been interested in joining one of the CrossFit gyms that have popped up locally around different local neighborhoods, but never had given any a chance until the beginning of the year. StrengthRX is simply the best.
Getting my body back into shape was initially difficult, especially in that first week of adjusting and adapting to the exercises and movements; but all the coaches were supportive, patient, and full of positive energy, while still pushing me to achieve my goals. Every coach has their own nurturing style and motivational flair, reflected in their workout routines (as well as their great musical choices). Furthermore, they take the time to emphasize the real importance of nutritional balance and proper food value according to your specific body type and needs. And over the course of several weeks, it became very clear how much of a close-knit family its seasoned members are.
Overall, StrengthRX is an excellent CrossFit gym. If you're anywhere interested, definitely give it a chance. I highly recommend it!

I heard about StrengthRx through a current member of the program. I was told a lot of great things about it and that I should try it out. I asked myself why I should, since I already had a membership at a local gym. But then I realized that I hardly even go to the gym due to lack of motivation. I also have a ruptured disc problem causing sciatica and I knew the main method to aid it was through excercise. Because I lacked motivation and knowledge of doing so with the gym membership I had, I decided to give StrengthRx a try since they have classes that you take and teach you all kinds of HIIT and lifting workouts, along with keeping a great diet to reach your most desired goal. It's been almost 2 months now, and I lost about 6% body fat. Not only that, I feel much leaner and lighter whereas the problem on my lower back feels much more relieved and treated properly. I am proud that I had made the decision to have StrengthRx into my life and I will continue to reach my most healthiest body and health goals and maintain them. Everyone is in the same shoes as you are and they are all very friendly. My favorite part of Strengthrx is that the staffs are there for you with all kinds of advisable, solid facts & always willing to help you.

I was initially intimidated by joining a CrossFit gym, but StrengthRx has such an amazingly supportive atmosphere and I immediately felt comfortable working at my own level. The coaches are really great at explaining the correct way to do every single exercise and movement, and they encourage you to push yourself so you can continue to improve. It's also more than just a gym; they provide expert nutritional guidance and support that is catered to your body type and your fitness goals. I set out to lose fat and in just a few weeks was able to shave off over 6% body fat by really sticking to their workouts and nutrition plan. While the workouts can be challenging, the coaches make them fun and the music is great. The community and staff is very diverse and welcoming, and I've always felt very comfortable coming in and doing my best. I highly recommend trying it out!

I wanted to start the New Year off on the right foot. I have worked out in various gyms before, but wanted a coach, program and accountability partner. I was fortunate enough to find StrengthRX. The staff made me feel welcomed immediately. Starting with a coaching consultation to discuss my goals both physically and mentally. What I was most pleased about, is that I was given a mini-workout before jumping into the larger groups. This way I could feel comfortable and transition to the classes as easy as possible. I felt as if the entire staff and members were a family and we were all working to achieve our personal goals together. I've referred multiple friends and will continue to do so.

Extremely excited about the results I got since I started working out at StrengthRx. So far I’m down from 189lbs to 176lbs and I’ve lost an amazing 6% body fat. All of the trainers were down to earth and more than willing to help you out if you needed to modify a certain exercise. Also, they help guide you on how to eat with it not being to restrictive but a good balance.

I needed guidance, I needed support... and I got it 100% at StrengthRX. Ethan & Justin have created a great gym with great instructors. I recommend the 7am burn call with Michael or Aaron! I have worked out at a bunch of other gyms and this one pushed in creative ways and made it unique and interesting in every class. Since coming to the gym, I've lost 22.8 lbs and 8% body fat since Jan. 6th and I am excited to keep working out and shedding more weight!

The folks at SRX CrossFit are incredible. I entered their 6 week challenge and lost 20 lbs. what was especially cool about the whole experience was the balance the have between professionalism and personal touch. Every coach there is careful enough to make sure you’ll learn the movements needed to stay safe, while knowing when to encourage you to push your edge to make it through this tough workouts. I drove 20 miles IN LOS ANGELES 3 times a week just to work out here. Hope you find what I’ve found at SRX Crossfit.

I did the 6-week challenge at StrengthRx, and I am grateful I did. I feel amazing, and my clothes are fitting better than ever! Also, the facility is great. I really enjoy the Burn and Build and Burn classes, as they push me and make me stronger. The hardest part of the challenge was the diet plan - no doubt. It's very regimented and strict. That said, it was immensely helpful to learn of healthy alternatives to some of my favorite foods. I can't say I'll stick with the diet plan entirely, but I've learned life lessons that will stay with me. I do plan to continue working out at this facility; because again, I really enjoy the classes.
Shout out to Michael - he is the BEST instructor at this institution. If you can, take all of your classes with him. As a fellow teacher myself (I teach college students), I can say he embodies most fully what a great, resourceful, and approachable teacher should do. Thank you, Michael. And thank you to all the StrengthRx teachers and staff - I am grateful for this experience.

Hey all, Here's my story. I needed a place to connect with people and work out. I came across StrengthRX and started going to classes there. I had planned to go about 3x week. I loved the environment and the work-outs (two are never the same) so much I increased the number of times I went per week. Now let's talk about a few staff members: Mike in the AM is your guy to get you to wake-up, focus, and perform. I felt that I was starting my day off right with a SRX AM work-outs. Justin is the owner and is super helpful and supportive! You're also wondering what my results were. My goals were to just start moving, regain a healthy day-to-day, and reduce my weight a bit. I was super happy to do all of this - I lost 5+ %body fat. I got toned quicker than expected and its really because of the guidance and awesome work-outs provided at SRX. Yup, try it out! :)

StrengthRx Crossfit is an amazing gym. When I was going there I injured my shoulder, Ethan, one of the many caring trainers they have, went out of his way to show me stretches and excercises that would help it heal faster. Consistently going to this gym for weeks, I found myself happier and healthier than I have been in years. The workouts are challenging, yet very fun to do, so I look forward to them every time! I started at Strength Rx almost 2 months ago. This is honestly the best gym experience I've ever had. I've always struggled with the discipline and motivation to stick with a workout routine. I'd lost a considerable amount of weight years before through diet changes, but when I got close to gaining it all back, I knew I needed a change. I'd heard about CrossFit and, to be honest, I didn't think I could handle the intensity. I thought it was for those that were already fit and looking for a new challenge. Even still, I figured I'd give it a try, and I loved it immediately.
Everyone is super supportive, including your fellow classmates. The coaches really set the tone. They are extremely attentive, always keeping a watchful eye on form and safety - yet are the first to push you outside your comfort zone, encouraging you every step of the way!
SRX is a great place wherever you are in your fitness journey. They offer an alternating schedule of both CrossFit and Bootcamp style classes. The facility is conveniently located with a fair amount of parking nearby. They also provide a shower and towel service.
Since starting at SRX, I've lost 24 pounds, 6% body fat and 5 inches from my waist. It's been a while since I've felt this good and I'm excited to keep it going. Thanks, StrengthRx!

First of all it was my first time trying a "crossfit" or even making a gym membership and surprisingly I really enjoyed it! I always try to lose weight but most of times I failed or regain my body weight. With this experience I motivated a lot and actually enjoyed woking out with other people. I still eat unhealthy food sometimes but learn to control and not to feel guilty about it. I 100 percent recommend this gym if you are like me who didn't even know how to start excersing. Don't starve yourself but get supported by professional who can teach how to get a healthy lifestyle with great excersing!!

Strength Rx was an intense experience but totally worth the commitment. I lost 22lbs and 5.7% body fat. I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire staff are the best at what they do especially Kenia behind the front desk. She is the best. Melanie gives the best workout classes around and Ethan teaches difficult but fun classes and gives great nutritional advice to help you actually burn more calories than you take in. I was really scared at first to try out this gym just because it seemed a little bit intimidating when seeing it online, but that was a mistake, since the fist time i ever step foot at strength Rx everyone was so nice and welcoming, the trainers were awesome and always motivate you when you felt like you couldn't finish the sets, if anything was wrong with you (physically) they will accommodate the exercises for you to feel comfortable. Ethan was such a great person who always kept me accountable in reaching my goal. you could always text them if you had questions and they would get back to you quick. i recommend this gym 100% i never saw myself reaching my goal, and in just 6 weeks ,strength Rx helped me reach that goal ! 25 pounds lost and more to go!

I was wary of joining a crossfit gym, but I was pleasantly surprised with how encouraging everyone was. People were very friendly and encouraging. I had heard that a lot of people get injured during Crossfit because form takes a backseat. All I can say is that my form was criticized so much it was like my mom was the coach. They were very attentive, accommodating to different people's needs, and I enjoyed the workouts a lot.
I do wish there were more amenities. There's only one toilet and one shower, and it gets HOT during the summer.

By far one of the best experiences I've had in my fitness life. I've been an active person and worked out as a norm but this gym challenge me to a new level. The burn classes we're challenging but the coaches and environment inspire you to push yourself beyond limits. The people who take the classes support you and want to know who you are as a person. I'm extremely happy with my results. Can't thank enough the trainers that help me reached my goal. Trainers make sure you use weights properly by checking your posture and how to hold the weights the right way. They motivate you when you think you can't finish the last set. They work with your strength if you can't do an exercise they will modify it. I had a great experience because I am now healthier and by body looks tone. I love going in because they welcome you with their positive energy making the atmosphere feel pleasant. Thanks to trainers in Strength RX. This is a great gym with really fun vibes! The classes are constantly moving while difficult, so class flies by and at the end you realize you just had a great hour-long work out! The culture here is very supportive. The classmates and instructors are fun and easy to talk to. The gym also hosts events which creates a great community feel!

I started the 6 Week challenge to help lose weight before my wedding. Tomorrow is my final weight out, and whether or not I hit my goal, I have accomplished so much. The nutritionist we got to meet with really helped me find a diet I could stick to. The class instructors brought the right balance of compassion and support that made me look forward to going to the gym. I find myself stronger, more energized, and have noticeably lost weight. I plan on keeping aspects of the diet and workout plan in my life moving forward. I look forward to keeping up my commitment to fitness with everyone over at StrengthRX. Maybe one day, I'll be ready to move up to that CrossFit class.

I've been trying to get back to the gym for the past 6 years or so. I've been struggling with consistency the most, so when I saw the post for the 6-week challenge I thought why not see what this is all about.
The coaches are very motivating and give great instruction for the movements. This is a truly great gym to be a part of. I felt welcomed from beginning to end. 1- I have always been an active person, but at the beginning of this year, I entered my senior year at school and got a promotion at work at the same time. Although these are positive things in anyone's life, I found myself using it to validate my excuses of why I wasn’t working out the way I used to, I was not motivated and was constantly tired. That’s when I decided to invest my summer and took the challenge to get back on track to my healthy lifestyle.
2- I honestly had no idea what CrossFit really was before I started, I knew it involved lots of cardio and some ropes exercises. StrengthRx helped get back on track and gain the motivation I was lacking. They helped me lose 18 lb and 5.5 % of my body fat in six weeks. Now I can say CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition and community.
3- I'm proud I took the decision to challenge myself and transform my body. Although I was determined and motivated to put in the work, hands down to Rx staff Justin Schollard, Mel Ramos (favorite coach) and Ethan Wolf, great coaches, awesome humans. Thanks for the encouragement, for pushing me hard to complete the very last repetition on every session, thanks for your positivity for the weekly text reminders keeping me accountable and for supporting me through it all.
4- My next goal is to gain muscle weight. 15 pounds by the end of the year is the goal. I know is a slower process but totally doable because I have the tools and discipline to make it happen
5- Favorite moment has to be finishing the very last class. Super excited to be done but also nervous to check the results of our efforts.

Just finished the 6 week challenge and boy was it worth it. I lost 25 pounds and 5.5% body fat! If your looking for a gym that’s going to change you life this is it, the classes are fun and very much motivating & the coaches are awesome! I had a great experience at this gym. In a little under 6 weeks I lost 19 lbs and gained a better understanding of how healthy foods can fuel my body and also be tasty! I really enjoyed building a community at StrengthRX CrossFit. Working out at a new place can be intimidating, but the environment here is that we are all in this together to better ourselves. I enjoyed getting to know other people in class who were also challenging themselves to commit to working out at least 3 times a week and sticking to a pretty strict nutrition plan. If you are truly ready to make a commitment to yourself to make a change in your diet and exercise routine, this gym gives you all the tools needed to succeed.

I was looking for a change up in my routine and stumbled upon StrengthRx. Before attending classes here, I was generally good about getting to the gym, but needed a nutritional kick in the butt. Never having taken a proper CrossFit class, I was a little intimated, but came to find that all the movements in their BurnRx classes were achievable.
Through their fitness/meal program, I was able to improve my overall health and lost 20+ lbs and 6% body fat. Major props to their committed staff that helped me reach my goal!
PROS:
-Amazing fitness regimen.
-Nutrition info they provide is super helpful. Changing food habits is tough at first, but worth sticking to if you want to see a difference!
-Classes are challenging, but good. Instructors focus on proper form over # of reps.
-I now no longer fear burpees, and can do quite a few in a row!
CONS:
-Parking can sometimes be tough, depending on class time.
-The gym is very popular and sometimes the classes can feel a little crowded.
-Other gym members will sometimes be in the gym stretching or doing side workouts which can take up some of the class floor space.

Strength RX 6-week challenge has been full of great experiences. I have lost a total of 16 pounds and 5% body fat. My starting weight was 176 and by the end of the challenge I was 160 pounds. Before I begin the challenge, it was hard for me to get into a routine where I was able to lose weight and get fit. Strength Rx was exactly what I needed to lose weight, tone my muscles, and get back to feeling health and strong. The key was focusing on my meal plan and maintain my work out schedule. The best part was the being in a welcoming atmosphere with people who have great positive energy.
Also… during my 6-week challenge, I had the opportunity to bring my 17-year old son to a class that he was able to participate and experience it for himself. I can tell that he really enjoyed the various exercises as I observed him occasionally dancing to the music in between exercises. I also enjoyed taking my son with me on the hike with STRENGTH Rx Team where we walked from Griffith Park to Hollywood Sign. I never would have imagined engaging in so much fun during my experience with Strength Rx.
Although I was determined and motivated to put in the work, I give credit to Strength Rx staff, Justin Schollard, Ethan Wolf, and Mel Ramos (my Motiv8 team); for encouraging me to push hard, motivating me to keep striving; supporting me through it all. I joined the 6 week challenge to relieve stress. What I received was pretty amazing. I had the backing of a fitness community and some really great coaches. I took the challenge very seriously and dropped 23 lbs and 8%body fat. They provide you a diet, a workout schedule and weekly follow-ups on goals. StrengthRX is amazing! I loss 19lbs and 4% body fat durning the 6week challenge. I never knew I could be this discipline & consistent in working out. I'm so grateful for all the coaches who helped me on this journey!!!! I physically feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m not nor have I ever been an athlete. So for me this challenge was 100% out of my comfort zone. But as of today I can truly say I value my fitness. I now workout weekly. I don’t feel winded and can complete a full workouts. I can run now (cause I totally couldn’t do that before lol). StrengthRx, the staff, and Burn challenge were amazing. I entered this journey skeptical about the process and results. 6 weeks later I lost 23lbs which was 3 more pounds than the challenge required. It was a grueling 6 weeks of intense classes and dedication. I'm still lot sure of the diet was tougher than the classes. But couldn't have one without the other. The instructors were great and got to know your name and call d you out by name to push you. It was just the amount of accountability I needed. We were all in it together. New people, veterans, and in betweens. I highly recommend this place and the burn challenge for those not getting the most out of their workouts. You'll hate it and love it at the same time.

Wow, what an experience. After seeing an Instagram ad for the 6 week challenge, I decided to take on this challenge and I have to admit it was very tough, but very worth it. The coaches are amazing and they are very helpful in making you work while assisting you with any questions you may have.
During my six weeks of going to the Burn Rx classes four to five times a week while sticking to my meal plan, I struggled a bit especially right when week 4 hit. But my friends I made while taking these classes were very encouraging and helped me get right back on my feet. The fact that I knew that my peers were going through the same struggles and my urge to destroy this challenge motivated me and enabled me to work harder.
The workouts were very challenging at first, but constant perseverance paid off. My endurance and strength improved a lot and it definitely showed physically.
I greatly recommend Strength Rx as well as the 6 week challenge if you want to push yourself and see results. At first, I was very hesitant, but I realized that if you keep thinking about it, there will never be a right time. The six week challenge not only helped me realize that I can complete a physical challenge like this but also successfully achieve other challenges just as long as I have the consistency and mental strength.

This was my first time joining a challenge like this. The Burn Rx classes don’t seem intense at first but I was always dripping sweat the end of the hour. All of the coaches are great. They offer classes as early as 6am so it really fit into my busy work schedule. Being able to schedule using the app was perfect. They certainly helped me increase my activity level while learning to eat right. I lost 25lbs in 42 days. Just 6 weeks of hard work and encouraging atmosphere. It’s great for all fitness levels from beginning gym goers to avid exercisers!

I did the 6 week challenge at Strength Rx and at first the classes were very challenging but every week I surprised myself by how much more I could do, not to mention how much I was able to change and tone in just a six week period. It definitely wasn't easy but all the instructors are awesome and helped kept me motivated toward my goal. I have been planning to sign up to a regular gym for the past few months like gold's, La Fitness or 24hr fitness. The moment i saw their ad in my instagram, it immediately got my attention because of their caption "Free 42 day Dad bod challenge"! So i signed up and booked their so called Free 42 day program. During the interview day, they weigh me in and got my initial/starting weight and body fat % which are 188lbs with 21.6% BF. They talked about nutrition on what and how much amount of food to eat. During my first week i could say it was the worst feeling ever that i encountered in my lifetime! It's like sore everywhere! Whenever i move it's ridiculously painful! Week 2-6 was still hard but was atleast tolerable unlike the first week. What i really like the most was everyday i came in for their burn classes it was different exercises. It's fun at the same time painful! 😅 The coaches are awesome and the vibe in the gym was suprisingly encouraging. Like everyone inside that gym are so serious on their workout, concentrating to finish their hard work. 💪 i lost 22 lbs and 7.2% body fat in freaking 6 weeks! I couldn't believe the results i'm getting week after week. This program is intended for anyone that wants change in their life. I am no Crossfitter so this was my first time doing crossfit. Believe me if i can do it, anyone can do it! It's all about being motivated and staying consistent. It's just 6 weeks anyways so for me it's like why not?! It really is a life changing program. The best part?? It's free! Looking forward to be a regular member of this gym next month.

I lost 26 pounds in a very short amount of time when I first joined StrenghRX. The trainers are wonderful and really push you to become in your best shape. They also have me a nutrition plan and my legs have never been so in shape. I also decreased my body fat percentage by 5% and feel amazing.

I completed (and actually beat!) the 6-week challenge at StrengthRx which I discovered through an Instagram ad. The classes were amazing. The instructors are friendly and will challenge you based on your fitness level. The diet plan is extremely restrictive (and unsustainable) but is highly effective for the short duration of the challenge.
My only qualms are with:
1. How people are lured into the program. It is not actually free and requires a $500 deposit which will be returned after you reach your goal weight. But I do understand the need for strong incentive
2. How volatile the method of measurement (handheld body fat scanner) is. Mine varied GREATLY day to day, from beginning of the day to the end. And I wasn't given any tips on how to get the fairest weigh-in.
3. How hard it is to get a hold of a trainer for help outside of the gym (via text, etc.). At the beginning, you are promised a personal trainer to keep you accountable and answer any questions. While I got many check-in texts, (which was nice) I was ignored upon replying many times, which wasn't a good feeling.
That being said, the community at the gym is very supportive and I ended up making some good friends in the process. I don't regret doing it, but obviously I would feel differently had I not beat it. For those who do choose to do the challenge, I recommend to be aggressive in asking questions, but don't give excuses once you've decided to go in because it's achievable!
TLDR: Great gym for classes, great instructors. Would not recommend the challenge for everyone, it is not actually free. However, it is beatable and I don't regret doing it. Message me for tips!

So, first I would like to say that Strength RX is AHHHMAZING! I did the 6 week challenge and this is the best thing I have done for myself in a very long time. The team of teachers are amazing, super knowledgeable, kind and so, so helpful. They checked in with me every week and helped me with all my questions and I had a lot! The nutritionist and co-owner was so helpful and encouraging regarding my meal plans. That was the hardest part to maintain, since I’m a sugar freak, but I did it and I plan to keep eating this way. I really can’t say enough about this team of people.
They also create the most wonderful community. Within the first week, I felt completely at home. I did not expect that, but it was such a nice added bonus. Even all the members are super helpful and friendly. They even organized events for everyone outside of the gym, which I would encourage you to attend.
The workouts are fantastic!!!! I learned so many things in regard to how to build muscle the right way, pushing myself but not hurting myself. I won my challenge. I even surpassed the 5% body fat that I needed to lose in 6 weeks, by a lot! I got in great shape in 6 weeks. And I haven’t worked out like this in years and I had a very unhealthy diet. Amazing!!!!!
I really thought long and hard about doing a 6 week challenge, in the end, I chose Strength Rx and I’m so glad I chose them, because I didn’t trust myself. Strangely enough I actually trusted these guys to get me where I needed to get to. So, if you have any hesitation, I would just jump in and do it. It’s the best thing you will do for yourself. Doing the 6 week challenge really helped me to learn that I can control things in my life. And I’ve been telling all my friends to do it. It’s a special place and the people there are special!

This place is AMAZING!!!! I lost 21lbs in 6 weeks with their free 6 week challenge. All the coaches are extremely motivating during the classes and super friendly. The meal plans given were extremely easy to follow and very effective. I love this place since I haven’t been as thin as I am now, after doing their challenge, in about 6 years. Loved our (my fiancee and I) 6-week challenge with Justin, Ethan, and the dedicated team of coaches and staff at StrengthRx! The coaches pushed us to do better each and every workout. The weekly texts kept us on track and the diet plan was easy to follow and execute. We both met new friends, worked our butts off, and enjoyed every drop of sweat that rolled off our foreheads (and everywhere else)! The 6-week challenge is definitely enough to get you in the door and addicted. Our personal finances are the only thing holding us back from becoming full-time members. This is no Ordinary Gym. Your limits and boundaries will be pushed but isn't that what we all need? I signed up for a 6 week challenge and with the help of the trainers and nutrition logs I managed to lose 5% of my body fat. I feel better, I move Better, I am Better. My favorite part is being part of a class where people are able to work off each other and push themselves since everyone is there for 1 reason. I did a 6 weeks challenge at StrengthRX Crossfit and the challenge for me was to lose 5% of my bodyfat. At first it sounds impossible to me, but I was able to lose 6% of bodyfat (from 24% to 18%) in 6 weeks. Thanks to Ethan! He is super knowledgable and really helpful, I've learned so much about diet/nutritions from him.
I went to the gym 3-4 days/week and was really strict with my diet. All the staffs there are really friendly, too (Especially Justin and Eric!) It's like a family there and I love it every time I go :)
I love burn/bootcamp classes, definitely effective and feel the burn after (it's hard but it feels greattt), it also motivates me to keep pushing my limit since we do it as a group, nobody gives up. Good environment!

When I think of a 6 week challenge, I don't like to think short term gain, but rather long term commitment. StrengthRx helped me feel stable on being able to commit to a longterm lifestyle. They helped me lose 18 lbs and 7% body fat in those six weeks, but I see that as just the beginning!
They provide you with a meal plan that's not crazy where you have to eat weird things or be really strict to just chicken and broccoli. Yes, there is a science to losing weight and balancing those food pyramid items, but their meal plan is easy to maintain long-term as there are multiple variations to it.
I needed to get back on track to my healthy lifestyle, especially after those holidays, and StrengthRx kicked my butt (in an amazing way) to do just that. Their workout Burn classes are bomb! They help you sweat, and for the most part, they are nothing crazy, but rather use moves that one learns in most classes, so it's easy to jump into it and be able to give it your all. And I was happy that there were around 3 possible times throughout the day/7 seven days a week to fit my constantly shifting schedule. The killer class is Aaron's Sunday class. I have a good workout regiment, even before the challenge, and I was exhausted from his classes. Getting through his class was a great accomplishment in itself.
I'm grateful to StrengthRx for kicking my butt to get back on track and provide the tools to continue this journey. The goal is to keep feeling, looking, and being healthy, in my own terms.

This post goes out to those who are looking for results and/or a life change for the better. As a person who has struggled with obesity most of my life I knew a had to make a change. In my quest to find help I saw StrengthRx and heard about the amazing atmosphere and energy there. Though I was intimidated by the things I saw on TV regarding Crossfit I found enough courage to go. Upon arrival they embraced me and assured me that I came to the right place. After reviewing the price I could not believe all of the specialized attention I received. Meal plans (that actually works) constant check ups from multiple coaches, tailored workouts within classes based on abilities. Seriously unbelievable! I really love this place. In 6 weeks I lost 20 pounds!!!!! I never posted on Yelp before but it is imperative that I get the word out that StrengthRx works!

I took the StrentgthRx 3 week challenge to lose 3% body fat and I thought it’d be impossible, but with the help of the nutritional information and HIIT classes, I was able to accomplish my goal!!! Went from 21% to 18% body fat! The HIIT classes were fun and high energy. Mel always kicked my butt and is amazing!! I also loved how some classes were partner classes, which challenged you in another level. The only thing I wished they have is better communication and follow ups. There wasn’t any formal check-in process to see how far a long you are. Even with the end of the challenge, I had to reach out to them with my measurements. But all in all, it was a good experience, and I’m happy to know that I achieved something that I thought was impossible.

SO S-K-E-T-C-H-Y! This is the Fyre festival of CrossFit gyms.
I was advertised to on Instagram with a “free 6-week challenge fitness program” with only letting them document your results. Attended an orientation with 5 other ppl.
Here’s what they really wanted:
1. $500 for 6 week program upfront, supposedly refundable when you do all of the following:
—Post to all social medias/google/Yelp reviews and pictures of self thus promoting their program and image
One person in the group had literally driven to Koreatown for the orientation from Downey, CA and missed her college class. She remarked in shock and aghast to the host of orientation: “in the future, you should be transparent about what the program really is.”
With phony gimmicks like these, they really want promotion I guess, wasting people’s time —-they should instead use transparency in online advertising and genuine responses guide there practice.
I’m not signing a contract to review anyone.
I review based on authenticity if I find the program effective (at the end) and not before!

I've been doing crossfit on and off for a few years but these guys really helped me take my workouts to the next level in a short amount of time. I initially signed up for a 2 week challenge that came with a personalized meal plan. This really gave me the nutritional requirements I needed to recover from the daily workouts and maintain a 5+ day per week workout schedule. In the past I would be too sore from my crossfit workouts to do more than 2 to 3 workouts a week when starting off. I'm now training for some upcoming races this year and also look forward to hitting some crossfit pr's in the gym.

I just finished my first three weeks at this gym. I did their 3 week challenge, a shortened version of their 6 week challenge because of the holidays. With their classes and nutritional coaching I went from 20% body fat to 17% body fat, dropping 4 pounds. Thanksgiving was even in the middle of this three week period for me. More importantly, I feel great and have much more energy and don't crave all the sugar as I did prior. The classes and instructors are amazing and they really encouraged and pushed me to do more than I thought I could. Can't wait to see how I feel after a couple more months!

StrengthRx is a great gym, with a down-to-earth yet inspiring atmosphere. I just successfully finished my first 6 week challenge, where I ended up losing 6% in body fat and 13lbs, and thus had $300 that I had put down given back to me. My schedule most aligned with Mel and Lauren's classes, who are both truly gifted instructors that make workouts both challenging and accessible to newcomers. As a woman, it was awesome to learn from other strong women who are truly dedicated to participant journeys. People who go here are also rad, and are generally more diverse, in both ability and demographically, than other gyms I've tried. Definitely give StrengthRx a try! You won't be disappointed.

I found ads for a 6 week program over Instagram. I'm so glad I signed up for it!!! I was seriously so unhappy with how my body was beginning to look. My first weigh in with them was 141.3lbs and 26.8% bodyfat. I'm 5'3, so I shouldn't be that heavy. My weigh the other day was 130.4lbs and 20.9% bodyfat!!!! I do hair everyday, and I'm always on my feet. So losing that weight is much better on my knees. I'm so happy I did that program!!!!

I have been going to StrengthRx for almost past 8 months.
After having tried out 3 different CrossFit in the area, finding StrengthRx has truly been a godsend. The level of instruction here is clearly top notch and head and shoulders above all other gyms I've been to. The level of detail from coach Brandon, Mel, Ethan, and Jonathan is almost savant-like. In addition, everyone here is so awesome and encouraging.

Que tal... He pasado muchas veces por ese lugar y siempre he tenido la curiosidad de entrar. En realidad la curiosidad es porque me inyeresa ir a un gym o al menos tener una clase para condicionar mi cuerpo ya que con tres hijis se me ha complicado perder peso y jacer ejercicio.

I came out to this crossfit just for an extended weekend and I immediately felt at home with the friendly atmosphere presented. The trainers made me feel safe and comfortable while still working me crazy hard. The workouts were amazing and support was there by both the staff and members.
Only con, the gym is small. This definitely shouldn't deter you away from this place as there is a limit on class sizes so you will always have room to work out.
If I'm ever in California again this is definitely where I'll be attending!! Thanks L.A.Team.

I NEVER thought I would do Crossfit, in fact my Groupon sat on my desk till it was about to expire and only when I got an email telling me I had a few weeks left did I go. Before the month long Groupon expired, I signed a contract. The coaches at StrengthRx totally know their movement and kinesiology. More importantly, they value form and function way over aggressive competition - and yet, several members and coaches compete locally and WIN! The community is fun and supportive. If you are even thinking about trying Crossfit, you should definitely check this place out.
