Sara's meal plan prep is superb. The meals were delicious and to my liking. You can pretty much make anything work.
Sara is an amazing coach. I worked with her as a lifestyle client. She keeps you focused on the goals. She’ll inspire you to possibly enter into a bodybuilding prep but there’s no push to do so.
* Great at teaching you on techniques/form.
In all, you will be treated like a friend/family.

Sara is such an amazing coach and I’m so happy I was lucky enough to have her for my first competition. As a new comer walking into this community it can be intimidating but Sara is great at making you feel welcomed and keeping you informed. I loved the meal plans and how versatile they were. Throughout working with Sara I never felt like just a client, she makes you feel like a friend and makes fitness and the struggle of pushing yourself to new limits fun. I had the initial goal of doing a show when starting to work with Sara, and we had just achieved that! Sara is a phenomenal coach. I currently work with her as a lifestyle client, but she also helped me achieve my goal of doing my first NPC bikini competition at the age of 45. I wanted to take a healthy approach (as healthy as a prep can be) and do it naturally and without compromising my health (too much). I add these caveats because dieting for a competition just isn't the healthiest thing - especially for perimenopausal women. With Sara's guidance, I placed 1st in 45+ class, 1st in True Novice and 2nd overall for my (height) class.

Competition prep is always going to be hard, mentally and physically, but training with Sara is always fun because she has such a great sense of humor. It's a rare day when a session hasn't involved a great belly laugh to brighten my day. I've also enjoyed meeting her clients and am so grateful that she paired me up with another client of hers who was also doing her first Masters bikini competition. We continue to train together and have the best time doing it.

I was referred to Sara by my former coach when he decided to change careers. All coaches can give you a decent training program, but Sara is especially talented at educating on techniques and form if you work with her in-person. She has extensive knowledge and experience as a life-long athlete and professional bodybuilder. I had a pretty limiting shoulder injury when I started working with her, and she has been truly amazing at helping me gain strength and mobility in spite of the injury.

Last but not least, I've heard of so many coaches giving their clients awful, bland, cookie-cutter chicken breast and asparagus meal plans that would make any sane person seriously depressed. I LOVED Sara's competition prep meal plan. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully incorporated my likes and left out foods I dislike. I continue to eat several of the meals Sara introduced to me because I enjoy them so much.

Sara was my coach for a bodybuilding show that I competed in. We did roughly 3 months of off-season and nutrition work, and then 11 weeks of prep. This was my second time working with Sara to complete my weight loss goals and for the second time I was everything but disappointed. I can’t imagine having made the progress I did, trying to do it on my own.

tl;dr: Working with Sara, I lost 20 pounds in 12 weeks. 198 -> 178.

When I contacted Sara I weighed 198lbs, the heaviest I’d ever been. At 5’10 198lbs, I was feeling sluggish, tired, and really hated how I looked.

When I reached out to Sara she was super available, made the meal plans easy to follow and simple enough that I was actually able to maintain my goals while having taken two week-long trips in the middle of working with her.

I ended up losing 20 POUNDS IN 12 WEEKS.

I probably could have lost two or three more pounds but I may or may not have skipped a couple of cardio sessions.. Sorry Sara!

But having lost 20 pounds while not even being 110% on top of it really shows how much Sara knows her sh*t.

Vegan Lifestyle Client Here!

I have been working with them as a lifestyle client for almost 5 months and I am so grateful to have signed up with them. Let me preface this by saying before I signed up, I had never done weightlifting and it showed! My first one-on-one training session with Sara, I could barely lift my arms above my head to do a military press without wobbling and shaking. However, they were patient and helped me throughout my learning process. Before, I was terrified to go into the weights section of the gym, but now I feel confident and strong. Sara knows exactly how to demonstrate and explain anything so that you feel confident that your form is correct and that you are engaging the right muscles. After I completed my 12 one-on-one sessions with her, I have continued to attend the group training sessions and even then, Sara still manages to be attentive to each individual client's weaknesses and strengths!

They also handle my meal and workout plans, as well as helping to adjust my program as I progress. I am a vegan and was initially worried that my dietary restrictions may be an issue, however they have handled it with great thoughtfulness and care. They are truly dedicated to making sure that your diet is well balanced and that you meet your macro goals, which is no easy task for vegans and non-vegans alike! Through their guidance, they have helped me understand what a well rounded diet should look like. They are ready to explain and answer any questions or concerns you have. They work with you as a mentor, rather than just wanting you to obey blindly. Each week, as you send in your progress measurements and photos, they monitor how your body reacts and adjusts if he needs to.

You obviously need to put in the work too. But they make it feel attainable and doable. Not only do they themselves act as a walking motivation, but they know exactly what to say when you feel like you are struggling or aren't where you think you should be.

Sara is one of the most incredible and inspiring people I have ever met. She is beyond humble and--I cannot emphasize this enough--truly cared about her clients! Whether you are a lifestyle client or a competitor, you will receive expert and tailored guidance to reach your fitness goals. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

I've been working out with trainers for a LONG time, and Sara is hands down the best out there. We're talking world-class level coaching. She doesn't just tell you what exercise to do, she shows you how to hold the weight, where to place your foot, what toe to put your weight on, where to put your chin. The smallest details make the biggest difference. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say I know how to work out.

AND working out with her has been the best thing for my body! I was in physical therapy for 6 months for plantar fasciitis, and it never moved the needle. After 1 month of training with Sara, it was completely gone. I haven't had any foot pain in over a year. That's because she pinpointed weakness in certain muscle groups (not my foot!) and then helped to strengthen them with laser-focused exercises.

I've been with Team Titan Fit for 6 months now! Placed top 5 in my first prep with them and currently undergoing my second prep now. Initially, the dream was to dabble into one or two preps, step on stage and get it out of my "system". When I first approached Chris and Sara with my fitness goals, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to take away from the whole experience since I am extremely new to the whole process. There was only one thing on my mind and that was to improve my overall health and fitness routine. Through their lifestyle coaching program, I received exactly that and much more. I always wanted to compete and started looking for coaches over the summer of 2016. I met Chris and Sara after a short search and was very happy I did. They prepared me for my first show (as well as several others) with all the tools necessary to be successful. Chris developed a customized plan including meals and a training/conditioning regimen. Hmmmm where do I start... I found Team Titan fit from a simple google search of “the best bikini competitor coaches in San Diego.” This search led me to Chris and Sara Ford. Upon our first meeting (when i said I wanted to be a figure competitor (me being delusional. Lol)) and first email I knew that the team I was signing up for were coached and led by true professionals, who had a passion for what they did and for their clients success.

What I loved is the open communication. Everything I needed to know was explained in full detail and if I had any question I didn’t feel as if I couldn’t ask. They are the type of people that not only coach and lead you but teach you and make sure you understand. There is a distinct difference from just a personal trainer and a coach.

From the meal plans to the workouts, everything is given to me with thought put into. (Who wants to eat chicken, rice, and broccoli everyday, and who wants to do the exact same workout every week). They develop well rounded programs.

Chris and Sara are fun to be around and workout with which made my journey even more exciting. They actually have personalities which make you feel like you are more than just a client

As for me I joined the team in December 2017 and competed in my first competition May 5th 2018 and won (I was so stoked and surprised). I am now training in hope of becoming and IFBB Bikini Pro.

If you have a true desire to succeed whether it’s personal body goals or competition goals, these two people are the ones whom you want to assist you on your journey. Yes you have to put in the work but they will be there to encourage you along the way.

My journey with Team Titan has been fulfilling on so many levels. I never thought I would see my abs or become a bikini competitor. When I started, I was looking for a new challenge, a change from my normal workout and a goal to lose 5% body fat. My goal was to accomplish this in 12 weeks and low and behold with coach’s help I obtained my goal. Coach Chris didn’t offer me a magic pill or wave a wand… it took a great deal of discipline, dedication and hard work. Fortunately I had a great coach that guided me the entire way. I came to Chris & Sara with zero knowledge of fitness shows & what I needed to do. I had been working out for years but this was the first time I had decided to try doing a show.
Chris and Sara accepted me arms wide open from day #1.

In that first email Coach Chris said “I’m looking forward to getting you in the best shape of your life. Trust the process and you’ll do great!” And he did exactly THAT! I am officially reversed out of my 2nd show, finally maintaining around 153 lbs, radiating with confidence in my eating habits and loving this full new offseason “look”. This feels amazing because I have not just shredded down for a show then rebounded, I have not eaten the same tilapia asparagus, egg whites and peanut butter for 7 meals of my day like some other teams. I was coached and guided through this whole process with my health being the number 1 priory, and my success post show being a crucial and important step to learning how to make this a lifestyle. I cannot tell you how amazed I am at all that coach Chris knows about this sport, his ability to visually look at someone and determine macros and a set plan for them to reach their goals, and just every little detail about supplements and micronutrients he prescribes throughout this. I never understood why some foods where placed where they were or why he designed my meals the way he did BUT now that I have scraped the surface of some nutrition basics and how to fuel for optimal muscle growth, I truly am connecting all the dots he laid out along the way and it FEELs so DAMN good!!

Things I REALLY appreciate about team Titan and the way they run their team.

1. Coach is very straight forward and doesn't every feed you any false confidence

2. He fueled me throughout my prep with so many types of protein, carbs, and variations of fats that I never got bored

a. For someone that had a horrible understanding of portion sizes and was by no means a healthy weight there were tons of things I thought I have to restrict and had always said were BIG no no items…. That always lead me to fail because in life you ALWAYS want what you can’t have and that would lead me to those random binges

3. You taught me how to curve my biggest cravings with foods that keep you progressing forward but don’t derail you!

a. On prep with the Kodiak pancakes, wasabi peas, dry roasted edamame and laughing cow cheeses.. and now finding so many cool offseason tricks to keep you satisfied and sane without ever “needing a non-calculated cheat”

b. Also finding that I don’t actually want to eat bars, pancakes, or halo top ice cream, froyo, or even sushi as often as I wanted to when those “handcuffs” first came off. (I remember at the beginning every high carb day I would think what can I fit in….. what treat.. what big carb meal can I fit in today) Now I can truly say because I believe I can have whatever I want when I want it’s not as cool and my high carb days consist of mostly good complex carbs and heathy versions of old favorites to just put

a. tiny smile on my face and keep me motivated to keep progressing!

b. I have found I love fats more than carbs…. That some dairy makes me bloat more than others….That a flavored nut butter sandwich pre workout with ½ banana warms my heart and is something I really look forward to along with my Muscle Egg…..Truly those two things and I’m a happy camper with no cravings

I have dreamed of looking like, or being, a figure competitor since 2000; when I first saw Danielle Edwards on the cover of Muscle & Fitness Hers. At then 22, I had no idea it would take 16 more years for me to find someone who could help me achieve that dream. My husband found Team Titan in January of 2016. I don't even know if I'll be able to put into words the gratitude I feel towards Chris and Sara, but I will try.

I have lifted weights and been an athlete all my life. I have played a variety of sports, and had many coaches. I've also worked with personal trainers, one of which was a competitor. But Chris and his wife Sara are a whole other level of coach for this particular sport. What I respected and admired about him was that he has not just experience, but degrees in culinary arts, nutrition, and a variety of NASM certifications. That would have been enough to impress me, but he also PRACTICES WHAT HE PREACHES. How many trainers do you see that look like them? I see many that do not.

Chris provides detailed food plans down to macros with a variety of foods that never leave you bored. It also pushes you out of your comfort zone to try things you never thought of that end up being delicious (smoked salmon and egg with honey on an english muffin anyone??) Your body's health is his number one priority. The first thing he did with me was aim to heal my metabolism, which was shot from years of starving myself and yo-yo dieting. I am a hard core food addict, and have been around the block with all sorts of diets. I have gained and lost 15 pounds in the last 18 months and currently am at the same weight where I started, but my body looks completely different! I'd always heard of competitors talk about that "muscle weighs more than fat" business, but now I've seen it and experienced it with my own body, having gone from 30% to 21% body fat, at the same weight. Within the last 3 months he even suggested I go see my doctor because I might have a thyroid issue due to the lack of response in my body...guess what? He was right! That's why I say your body's health is his main priority. My relationship and understanding of food and how my body responds is so much better, and I feel I can feasibly live a life where I don't have to deprive myself of flour or sugar forever. I have the tools to balance my food.

In regards to training, I have a question for you: do you think you know how to train pretty hard? Answer: you don't ;) Not until you train with Chris. One of the most valuable things I've learned from him is what hard training feels like. I would NEVER have gained this much muscle and shaped my body like this without his help. I simply didn't know how. Chris also tailors your workouts to meet your goals. Mine have changed many times over the last 18 months, and they will continue to change I'm sure. But now, I have so much more knowledge about training and form, that being at 24 hour is a little painful to watch other people hurt themselves...I feel confident that I can design my own workouts now with success.

In short (well I guess this isn't really short; bless you for reading this far), Chris and Sara have literally changed my life. I come closer and closer to achieving my goal of looking like a competitor (perhaps someday I will be one, I'm technically a lifestyle client) and I feel I can officially call myself a "fit" person. This brings me confidence: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It has made my life richer. They are such wonderful, kind, funny, genuine people of integrity. Finding that in this industry is difficult, but they are the real deal. I will be forever grateful to them. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Ford!! XOXO

Chris and Sara are a fantastic team, and provide tremendous coaching. I went into training hoping to learn about nutrition and proper technique, and achieved that and much more. I have always dreamed of doing a bikini fitness competition, but at 44 years old, I didn't know where to start until I found Chris Ford, IFBB Pro. This was the best decision I ever made. I've always been active and into fitness and I thought I knew all there was to know about training and nutrition, but man, was I wrong. I was committed to the process and my body literally transformed dramatically after only 16 weeks with Chris! Chris and Sara are true professionals. I have competed in the past and was left with a not so nice taste in my mouth, as another coach under fed and over worked me. Chris was able to work with me to get my metabolism back up to speed and put me back in the right frame of mind to compete.
Team Titan truly cares about its athletes and puts health over any competition. They are always there to answer questions and check-in with you, never once did I feel like I was bothering them. I wouldn't choose any other coaches!! In season or off season they will get you to your goals no matter what they may be.

I started my training with Chris Ford in July 2015 in preparation for competing in 2016. We took a solid 8 months to build a foundation, and it has been nothing but the absolutely best experience! I have been through 4 competition prep coaches, and none of them ever made the effort or taken the time Chris has to truly get to know and understand the way my body works. In just 8 months, Chris and I were able to add 8 pounds of lean muscle mass to my frame, and we completely changed my shape!

Another great thing about Chris is that he does not provide the same "cookie cutter" meal plan that most prep coaches provide. His meal plans have made prep feel more like a LIFESTYLE than prep. It has been so easy to be disciplined because I am constantly eating different sources of food throughout the day! I never get bored :)

ALSO, Chris is a phenomenal personal trainer. I am also a personal trainer, but I elected to start personal training sessions with Chris because I understand that sometimes even coaches need a coach to cue them to target the intended muscle. Chris has a vast knowledge of the kinesiology behind training- which has been vital to my success as an athlete. I learn something new from him every session!

From the moment Chris took me on as a client, he ensured I felt part of the team. Chris and Sara have dedicated their efforts to ensure that each member of the team is closely monitored and diets are adjusted weekly so that you do not tire of the same old food week in and week out. I had an amazing experience and transformed my body in a way I had never done before. Overall I lost 32lbs in order to compete in a Men's Physique show in Hawaii and looked/felt great. Chris gave me a workout regimen along with the perfect personalized meal plan that included weekly adjustments based on how my body was reacting to the food! This allowed my physique to go through an amazing transformation in a very short time period. By the 12 week mark, my physical conditioning had far surpassed what I thought was ever attainable. Chris felt that I could really benefit from 3 more weeks of training, so I listened to his guidance. On January 10th I made my men’s physique debut at Jon Lindsay’s Muscle Contest 2015 NPC Western Cup in Los Angeles, CA. I placed 2nd in Novice and 5th in the open division!!
