Melanie is the best Pilates instructor! She is so kind and knowledgeable. She helped me regain strength after multiple injuries and an autoimmune disease. She also helped me keep my strength during my pregnancy which helped so much during labor and post partum recovery. She is very inclusive and wonderful, I cannot recommend her enough. I recommend her to everyone I know because her help has been life changing for me!

I have been doing pilates for over 10 years and at various studios to manage my lower back pain from scoliosis and a bulging disk. I have always found pilates good for my back, good for my body, and good for my overall health. I started going to this new studio near me and love it! Melanie is experienced and attentive and knows just how to work your out for your body. The studio has every piece of pilates equipment so there are no limitations on what can be done. If you are looking for a pilates studio this is it!

Melanie is truly a high-quality instructor. She knows classical Pilates inside and out. Her knowledge, cues, and support are unparalleled. I can't say enough good things about her- her attention to helpful detail, attunement to my body (session to session,!) sprinkled with wonderful humor, makes for an incredibly useful and pleasurable hour! I feel much less fragmented in my body and mind after a year of working with her. Her ability to support good alignment while increasing strength is fantastic, a rare gift. I highly recommend her!!

I am a 40 years old former gymnast with a lots of bad posture habits.
Melanie has given me an advanced workout I was never able to have before making my body feel strong and together. With her precise instructions, adjustments from head to toe and encouragement, I have learned to use the arches of my feet correctly, to stop locking my knees and arching my back, and open my shoulders. In our sessions, we worked on some pretty bad ass Pilates moves while she would also teach me all about Pilates History and Anatomy. She knows her stuff!
I also did Pilates with Melanie through my entire pregnancy…I could not recommend it more. I had zero back pain all along, it made labor (without epidural) much easier and I gave birth in the most epic goddess pose! Do it!

Working with Melanie has been the single most transformative thing I’ve ever done for my injury-prone, hyper-mobile body. Melanie has an amazingly intuitive and keen sense of what my body needs and helps keep me safe in my movements and exercises, which has been absolutely key for keeping my joints happy and building muscle strength. I’ve been doing Pilates with Melanie for a couple of years now and haven’t felt this strong in a long time! She has a deep knowledge of the foundations of Pilates and shares that in an informative, approachable, and fun way! An added bonus is that Melanie is just the loveliest, sunniest, genuinely caring person!

Taking a one-on-one classical Pilates class with Melanie has completely transformed how I feel, my awareness of my body, my strength, and posture. Due to my job, I sit all day, and after years of this, my body has adapted to a scoliosis shape. I've also developed tension knots in my pelvis and tightness in my back that I thought were permanent.
Melanie has the expertise and enthusiasm to evaluate any mobility challenges you present and design a plan to enhance your flexibility and strength through focused, high-intensity movements. She is incredibly supportive, and I always feel fantastic (and STRONG) after our sessions. I've never been this flexible and have discovered ways to alleviate the tension that builds up in my body when I'm inactive. I eagerly anticipate our sessions each week; with every meeting, I learn new mat techniques to use at home and how to effectively use the equipment in her studio.
I can't recommend her highly enough; you won't find a more passionate and knowledgeable teacher than Melanie!

I’ve been taking Pilates with Melanie for a couple years and have had a total - positive! - transformation in my core strength and my understanding and trust in my body. Melanie is the real deal. She has deeply studied the method and has a hands on approach that is incredibly helpful for engaging the right muscles and doing the movements correctly.
