Came for the yoga; stayed for the community. Owners and couple Chris and Kim are so warm, welcoming, and run such a gem of a neighborhood studio. My nervous system is nurtured here. I consistently see regulars. Vanessa and Jordan are a couple of my fav instructors. From vinyasas to sound baths to tai chi and evening wind-down classes, I know if I need to care for my body and move I have a spot to go. And they truly care about the people who go to their classes. Thank you guys so much!!

I love Sunstone Yoga. The owners are really terrific and also teach there and the groups there are all really friendly and casual. It's small which is nice and the owners do get to know you. It's a nice way to catch up with neighbors and get a workout flow in! They have lost of classes at different levels and the teachers are really attentive to what level you are at. So glad they opened in the neighborhood!

Sunstone is a lovely local yoga studio nestled in the Westchester community. There are a variety of classes ranging from invigorating vinyasa flow classes (which help with strength, balance, & flexibility) to slower yin classes. No matter which class you choose you’ll leave feeling better than you did when you walked in.

Tranquil and charming studio in the middle of the Westchester neighborhood. Great beginner class on Thursdays at 10:30 am. Chris is a kind and gentle teacher. Very walkable if you live in the neighborhood and conveniently located next to a liquor store and Vons if you need to grab a bottle of water before class.

Sunstone Yoga is an incredibly welcoming studio for Yogis of all levels. It is very guy friendly compared to other yoga studios and has people from all walks of life. The place is always clean and serene without an ounce of pretention. Their smaller class sizes and attentive instructors help to make it a safe space to level up your practice and/or try something new.

The location is a little off the beaten path. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood right across the street from a grocery store. There is always plenty of parking and the area feels very safe compared to just about anywhere else in LA.

I stumbled upon this little studio 4 minutes from my house and I couldn’t be happier. It’s both aesthetically and energetically lovely and Kim’s all levels Vinyasa Flow was just what I needed. Will 10/10 be coming back.

Sunstone Yoga is such a welcoming space! Chris does a great job of reminding yogis to meet themselves where they’re at and owning their own practice. The clientele is so diverse, so it does not feel intimidating like other franchise yoga studios in LA. It is a convenient studio right by LAX for out-of-town guests in a cute neighborhood with lots of parking. This will be my go-to studio the next time I’m in LA! :)

My first class at Sunstone Yoga was fun and surprisingly refreshing. Zach was the teacher and his style is.......unconventional, to say the least. I wasn't quite sure how to take it at first....the music was different, the flow was experimental, and we did a number of hand balance poses that were new to me. In the end, it was a light and playful class, and far different than many of the "super serious" classes I've taken in Venice and Santa Monica years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend classes here to anyone new or experienced. Zach put his personal flair into the practice and I respect that, it was the first class I've taken that didn't feel cloned from another practice.

It was such a joy to stumble into this community yoga studio. I felt welcomed and the space was clean, bright and lovely. The class felt really good from a steady flow to a thoughtful downshift onto the floor. The hands on adjustment in Shavasana was truly divine. Nestled into a little town square area near LAX, Sunstone has awesome, skillful teachers and such a welcoming, chill vibe. All levels of experience will feel at home here.
The ambiance is so soothing too; I love all the plants!
The husband-wife duo who owns the studio are caring, generous, and soulful. You can’t find a better studio for your yoga practice!
Also, they offer sound baths, which is a truly stunning experience and so worth it!

Yeah, a yoga studio near WISH elementary school! It opened in September 2022.
Chris and Kim Ohno did a great job converting the former pizzeria into a yoga studio.
My first class there went well. It was a good mix of breathing and exercising in Chris’ morning yoga class.
