Started training at Super Slow LA with Benjamin to supplement my workouts, and I’m blown away by the results. He does a thorough intake, sets clear baselines, and charts my progress with a plan tailored specifically to me. My upper-body strength has improved noticeably, and the super-slow reps really work—I feel stronger than ever in my yoga and Pilates classes. Focused coaching, measurable progress, and efficient sessions. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a weight-bearing exercise routine to supplement my twice-a-week Pilates regimen. I hit the jackpot when I found Ben. After only a half dozen sessions, I have packed on lean muscle, increased definition, and gone down a pants size. Not bad for 30 minutes once a week! Super Slow is efficient and effective. And Ben is patient, a stickler for form and safety, and good humored even at 6:00 AM. Highly recommended!

I was looking for an easy way to incorporate weight-bearing exercise into my fitness routine and found the solution: Superslow. It's not time consuming, produces results and the trainers are experienced, supportive and friendly. I highly recommend that anyone who is serious about staying in shape, give it a try.

I’ve been training at Super Slow LA for the past year and a half, and the results have exceeded every expectation I had. In the last 10 months alone, I’ve gained 8.5 pounds of muscle—and that’s no exaggeration. As a brown woman in her 30s that’s nearly an impossible feat!! The method works.
Super Slow LA is unlike any other gym I’ve ever been to. The workouts are short (just 20–30 minutes), but incredibly effective. Every session is intensely focused, expertly guided, and personalized to your strength level and goals. The trainers are not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely invested in your progress. They hold you accountable with care, challenge you without ego, and explain the “why” behind every move. It’s the kind of one-on-one attention that’s hard to find in most fitness settings.
If you’re looking for sustainable strength training that actually delivers measurable progress (without having to live in the gym), Super Slow LA is it. I’ve never felt stronger, more capable, or more confident in my body.

Absolutely love SuperSlow. It's an incredibly beneficial workout and has transformed my body, strength, and bone health. It's also quick and efficient. I have worked with both Carrie and Benjamin and both are wonderful. Knowledgeable, patient, inspiring and likable. I have referred several friends and family members and highly recommend overall!

Just had my first session with Benjamin after a long hiatus from exercising. He took the time to explain the exercises thoroughly and he paid close attention to details. My muscles have reawakened and I am looking forward to returning.

I love Super Slow! Carrie is AMAZING. She is such a great trainer. She is super knowledgable, professional, and also just a really kind, beautiful person. And she gives you the best workout, and in only 30 minutes! I have never been so toned. I used to do Orange Theory regularly, but I am in better shape now after seeing Carrie. I highly recommend Super Slow! As a busy person who cares about fitness, I’m so happy to have the opportunity to train with Carrie at Super Slow! As for the methodology, it was new to me, but boy, does it work!

I am so happy I found Super Slow and Carrie. I have osteoporosis in addition to arthritis in my back, hips, knees and feet. I knew I needed strength training and was reluctant to go back to Pilates 3-4 times a week, as I had done prior to the pandemic - and where I often injured myself. I went to Super Slow because Carrie has a background in physical Therapy and I felt safe with her. It was a great decision. In a very short period of time, I've become much stronger and am able to do things I couldn't previously do - like get up off the floor without my hands. I'm looking forward to spring skiing this year! Carrie has pushed me to go beyond what I thought I could do safely and at the same time, I feel like I'm killing it! She is very motivating. I know I am in good hands with Carrie and that I will continue to get stronger and stronger under her care. Thank you for changing my life Carrie!

I've been working with Benjamin Fisher and his SuperSlowLA fitness program for several months. It's a wonderful program that delivers. There's no question I have built back muscle strength by simply working out with Benjamin at SuperSlowLA just 30-minutes per week. He's a good coach, pushing me to improve...while making it supportive and fun.

Benjamin helped me gain back muscle which had atrophied after struggling with long-covid symptoms for almost two years. Ben started with what I was able to do and we worked up to get me back to my pre-covid level of lifting (maybe even better). Ironically, the SuperSlow technique works super fast and now I am back teaching yoga and dancing tango just as I had before the pandemic! SuperSlow is highly recommended.

Benjamin is the perfect emissary for Super Slow LA. His patience mirrors the incredibly slow style of resistance training that SSLA is the premier example of. What you will do with him and his machines is as good or better than three-times-a-week of traditional Nautilus training. Do an intro session on Monday and take stock of how you feel on Friday. Then you will understand.

Carly is absolutely the best!! She knows just what to do and how much to push to keep you from aggravating any prior injuries. She works with you to keep you strong as you age, improving strength and balance in order to eliminate falling. I have referred other senior ladies, and they have been delighted by her.

Carly is the best! She's a wonderful trainer who's found a way to help me get stronger without aggravating pre-existing spine and nerve problems. Highly recommend giving her a shot--especially since it's just 30 mins/week.

This is a workout for both the committed and the commitmentphobe. It's a mere 20-30 minutes per week, yet you are going to get some serious results. That's the commitmentphobe part. The committed part? You need to be ready to give it YOUR ALL. Every session, my terrific trainer Bruce pushes me to my limit (but not beyond). Every session I think "there's no way." And every session, somehow, there's a way. I feel stronger, more in tune with my body, and I'm actually walking with better posture after only a few months of SuperSlow.

The SuperSlow concept of working out 20 mins once a week seems too good to be true but there has been more research articles about the positive results that you can achieve from this "super slow" workout. I am a Chiropractor and Acupuncturist with a specialization in sport injuries and I wanted to check this out for myself before recommending it to my patients. Plus having two little ones at home, I don't have much time on my hands to be as active as I'd like. I LOVE IT! It's a great way to get strong with the correct form and mechanics and minimal room for error, which means less chance of injury. This is definitely a great way to establish a good foundation and increase your strength. It's great for people of all ages, people who don't like to workout and those that do. What really attracted me was that I don't have much free time and needed something quick and effective.
I am working Bruce and he is very knowledgable about the body, he's funny and knows how to push and encourage you. I highly recommend Bruce and SuperSlow LA.

Just had an introduction to how Bruce Fisher works with his clients as he takes them through a 30 min Super Slow Workout. I learned how this technique provides a full body workout that only needs to be done once a week. This is amazing time saving technique. Perfect those who want a really good workout but have very limited time each week. So Go Super Slow for fast results.

Like most I look for excellence and Carly at Super Slow is it!!! Not only has she been a Super Slow trainer for 13 years she was certified by a Superslow Master instructor. She has kept my 96 year old father and I safe from injury while we work out. Her vast interest in health, fitness and anatomy have been a real boon
