About the Club

Welcome to Sweat Yoga! Our classes are designed to take you to your physical and mental edge - the infrared-heat, dark room, no mirrors and dynamic music create the perfect ambiance to develop your practice and go inward. Most classes include a free flow format where instructors guide you through a sequence and then let you flow independently to the pace of your body, breath and mind. We see life as an art, the body as the instrument, and yoga as one of the tools we use to fine-tune. If you want to be a better version of yourself, and are willing to put in the work; then come hang. We’d love to see you on the mat soon!

I had such a great experience this morning! The space is beautiful, the staff was so welcoming, and what stood out most was how focused and intentional the class felt. I took the 10:30 flow and it had everything I love—an amazing instructor, perfect playlist and sound level, great lighting, and such a wonderful atmosphere. Really loved the flow and can’t wait to be back!

Great room! Great instructors. Very nice heat! They keep it relatively dark for privacy I imagine. Kind staff and their rentals are high quality and clean.

great workout, nice dim atmosphere, clean studio... however this is just simply not yoga lol. I am so confused by the serene lighting/atmosphere with such loud and distracting dubstep and r&b music to just pull me right out of being able to concentrate on my breath and body, which is what yoga should be, even if it's a more workout-focused class. I end up feeling more wound up after class here. Also the style of having us memorize complicated flows that seems to be their signature thing takes away from any chance of meditation and any focus on breath and body as well. so that plus the music is just too much. one of the weirdest studios i've experienced and i've been to so many haha

It was my first time attending a class here and it was difficult, but also very rewarding! Elise is a friendly and motivational teacher! I would definitely go back to attend another class with her :)

On holiday in the US and wanted a yoga fix. I really liked this place. It has a great vibe and the room is nicely appointed. If you like it hot though, they don't hold back. I wasn't prepared for that much heat but it sure was fun. I did a yoga chizle class which was a first for me. Never heard of it before, and for those playing at home it adds a set of hand weights to the process. Punishing and brutal but very satisfying.
I'll try and come back before I leave the US. Well done on something special.

Sweat yoga is my second home! I love going in everyday, the staff and instructors are so friendly and inclusive. The studio offers a range of classes so I can choose the level of difficulty I want to challenge myself with. I used to dread working out but now I look forward to it.

I attended Grace's breathwork class in WeHo this past Saturday. Grace's breathwork class is a very powerful and transformative experience. If you want to go deeper into your healing journey or experience the spiritual dimensionality of a yogic practice, then this class will help you experience that. I'm grateful for the invitation and the ancestral journey. I think some profound breakthrough happened in that class for most folks. I highly recommend it.

Ryan’s classes are what keep me coming back to Sweat. Love his talking and motivational approach to yoga. While Sweat classes tend to be a more athletic form of yoga, which I love, Ryan’s classes are not just about the physical, but the mental and spiritual aspects as well.

I joined Sweat in December 2023 and loved it from my very first class.

I'm a big fan of the Flow classes with Ryan and Vera and any class that Gabby teaches, and I cherish Yin with Demi and Becky. And the monthly workshops are a nice way to try something different. The managerial and front desk staff at this studio are really kind and attentive.

The space is small in an intimate way. The bathrooms are clean and have lockers for storage. There are mats and towels for rent, and as a special bonus you receive a complimentary cold lavender face towel at the end of every class (usually placed on your mat during shavasana).

Parking can be found at meters on Santa Monica or the side streets (depends on time of day) and there is a paid lot right next to the studio for just a few dollars. And as long as there's room for it, you can bring a bike into the lobby/waiting area.

This is the best yoga studio in LA! My boyfriend and I just moved to West Hollywood and immediately found a sense of community here. The instructors and front desk employees are so kind, talented, and a joy to be around. It is infared heated yoga, so the classes get a bit toasty. I really like Savanah's Sweat Flow and Stephanie's Sweat Chizle classes. Sweat is a challenging full body workout but also meditative, with stretching and zero judgment. There is street parking or you can park in the lot next door for $2.75. We also like the juice bar next door and Trader Joes across the street. I would recommend for anyone in WeHo area!

Taking classes with Chris Youmans for the past 6 months has been amazing. As I prepare to move and begrudgingly leave this studio, I'd be doing all of Los Angeles a disservice if I didn't say, "Run, do not walk, to be led in practice by this Teacher."

It was so refreshing to have a teacher who does NOT use a fake, breathy, almost-whisper voice. Someone who doesn't spew hokey pokey "spiritual" phrases, personal opinions on current events or questionable health/wellness advice. You also won't be stuck in a pose listening to a random story about his weekend.

Chris gets it right - a true Yoga Teacher. He is friendly to all and emits the energy that everyone is welcome. He is very knowledgable and offers intuitive, helpful modifications that make every pose accessible. He explains advanced postures but does not come off like a over zealous athletic coach. Just inviting. He has great music for vinyasa and his yin classes are some of the most relaxing I've ever taken.

In 17 years of practicing all over the world, I can say for sure that Chris is one of the best.

Honestly, Chris and Team are the nicest group of individuals. The heated classes are no joke and not for the "faint" at heart (although sometimes I do almost faint and my loins quiver but that means it's working. LOL) - Great classes and the times work perfectly. And oh, you burn no less than 300-500 cals - true story.

I have been coming to Sweat Yoga West Hollywood for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! The studio is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff are friendly, talented and offer a range of classes that anyone from beginners to experienced yogis can take. The locker rooms are squeaky clean and provide a space to shower, change and store your personal belongs inside the lockers while you are taking the class. Parking is easy and convenient and I love that it is next to a couple markets for a post class snack. I would 10/10 recommend this studio to anyone who is interested and looking for a great sweat. I take Olivia’s Tuesday sweat chisel class and it is the highlight of my week! Lastly, the cool, lavender towel given before Savasana will change your life.

My favorite yoga studio! All the teachers are great and the class structure is a perfect mix of guided and free flow. They create a truly unique experience guiding you and then giving you a chance to explore your own variations of each flow. The studio is also the nicest yoga space I’ve been in. The space feels brand new and the overhead lights remind me of a night sky, which really allows me to disconnect every time I walk into the studio. I highly recommend this studio!

I’ve been coming here for a while now using classpass, and have been checking out hot yoga places all around LA.
This studio is easily in my Top 3 best hot yoga studios.
First off, before you even come in you have a parking lot next door, with 2 hr validation from the studio.
Next, you come in the door and you’re greeted by the super friendly and helpful staff.

You then go to the lockers, where you don’t need a lock, you safely choose a code. The facilities are VERY clean. I’ve never had any issues with filling my bottle before class, there’s always a functioning cooler.

The absolute cherry of this place are the classes and instructors. They really encourage you. They really know what they’re doing and you’re immersed in the practice from entering the hot yet clean room until the end when you receive a cold lavender scented towel to top off your practice. If that’s not enough for you, you have a smoothie place across the street and trader joes. All in all 10/10 for me !

Super friendly staff. There is an extensive variety of classes you can choose from. Super mellow yoga flow or intensive workout and yoga collision: choose your fav!

UPDATE: I finished the 10-day-pass. The water fountain didn't work for the 10 days I'd been practicing there. They didn't offer any source of filtered fresh water. That showed me they don't care about the community but make money.

Keep an eye on your card statement, they charged me for a mat I didn't rent and water I didn't buy. It took 3 days to have my money back. After seeing that, it is hard to trust them.

The lockers situation: the days I was practicing there they didn't work. The showers doesn't have enough water pressure and it is hard to reach the perfect temperature. It was an uncomfortable experience.

They need to put some effort into taking care of their clients. I will not come back.

I came for the first time today. I loved every minute of it! I took Brittany's class, and due to covid it's all on the roof.

The sun felt amazing and we had headphones so the instructor didn't have to scream her head off. Perfect day.
