A Truly Wonderful Swim Program

Swim to Shore has been an incredible experience for our family from day one. The service is excellent, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed, and we couldn’t be happier with how quickly and confidently our girls are learning to swim. Every class feels meaningful, and watching their progress has been amazing.

All of the coaches are fantastic, but we want to give a special shout-out to Coach Carolina and Coach Bronson. Both of them are absolutely wonderful—warm, patient, and genuinely caring with every child they teach. You can tell they love their work and put their hearts into it. Our girls adore them, and we always feel confident knowing they’re in such capable, compassionate hands.

We truly couldn’t recommend Swim to Shore more. It’s a place filled with positivity, encouragement, and people who genuinely care about helping kids grow strong and confident in the water.

I've been bringing my 3 year old here since he was 9 months old and I'm so glad I did! He's very comfortable in the water and loves to swim and dive down. Coach Carolina has been his teacher from the beginning and she is absolutely wonderful and so patient. My son is very particular with adults that he's comfortable with and he loves her! All the swim instructors we've had for make up lessons have been great too! I have had about 4 friends now bring their kids here and I still recommend Swim2Shore to everyone! It's such a joy and comfort watching my toddler continue to get stronger in the water and know he's learning life long skills that he will take with him as he gets older! And who knows... you may see him in the olympics one day!

We’ve been with this swim school for almost a year now, and I can’t say enough good things about them. We have our three boys here ages 6, 3 and 2 . My two oldest boys are on the spectrum, and the instructors have shown incredible patience, understanding, and support from day one. They truly go above and beyond to make each child feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the water.

It’s not always easy to find a program that works well for neurodivergent kids, but this team has created such a welcoming and inclusive environment. My kids look forward to their lessons every week, and we’ve seen so much progress — not just in their swimming, but in their confidence too.

Swim to Shore is a phenomenal place to take your children to learn how to swim. All of the staff go the extra mile to get to know you and your children so that every time you walk in the doors you all feel welcome. My son started lessons in the baby parent classes when he was 18 months and started to take private lessons when he turned 3 . His instructor Dominique is great at keeping her students engaged in the lessons, while still making it fun for the kids. I’m very happy with my decision to bring my son to Swim to Shore.

This is such an amazing place for children to learn to swim. The staff is so welcoming and it feels like family/home every time I take my daughter to her lessons. Both my kids (ages 2 and 4) have been at Swim To Shore for over a year now. The instructors are fabulous, the administrators are kind and efficient, and most importantly- my kids are learning how to be safe in the water. We’ve been coming to Swim To Shore since our youngest was 2 years old. We started in the Parent and Me class and switched to private lessons when she turned 3. She’s now 5 and is SO confident in the pool! She has absolutely loved every one of her instructors (Lily, Alyssa, and Kayla), as have we.

What’s perhaps more impressive, though, is our middle child. He used to refuse to get in the water past about calf-deep. It was always a struggle trying to teach him to swim and teach him water safety. We enrolled him less than a year ago and he is now not only excited to go swim, but is proficient in freestyle and working on backstroke. It’s genuinely been a night and day change and has been amazing to witness. It sure helps that he loves his coach, Bronson, also! Coach Bronson has connected with our son and literally changed his outlook on swimming.

I cannot recommend Swim To Shore enough (and do to all my friends)!

This wonderful place is where you need to be. Our son is almost 8. He’s been with them since he was a baby doing the guppy class. We’ve had to take breaks (tubes in his ears, the pandemic, etc.), but we’re so happy that we’ve been able to make our way back to them and now our daughter is taking classes with them. The instructors and staff are wonderful and you’ll always feel warm and welcome.

I can not say enough good things about Swim To Shore. I have 8 kiddos and I currently have 4 kids taking private lessons and another on the waitlist. We have been here for about 5 years now and love coming. All the ladies, oh and let me not for get the gentlemen are spectacular. They are truly amazing and so kind and loving with all the children that come. my 3 youngest boys and daughter love this place and feel as though they are kings here. This truly is a kid friendly, family environment and I am so happy and proud to be apart of it. The school is completely clean and well managed, along with organized. Not only does it teach children maneuvers that will save their lives if they fall in the pool, but they have many levels that help children who have advanced in their swimming ability. I would never go anywhere else and am so grateful to be apart of the swim to shore Family! Love you all, your the best!!!

Swim to Shore is an amazing swim school with highly effective instructors, a communicative and engaged owner and excellent customer service from both the instructors and the front staff! My six-year old daughter started swim class just over a year ago with no previous swimming knowledge or skills. The instructors worked with her, made her feel comfortable in the water and consistently ensured the lessons were fun and extremely productive. She is now working on her swim strokes and easily swims several laps each class. The instructors are patient and friendly. They keep the students focused on the lesson and are properly assertive when required to push the students to master the swim techniques and continually advance. They enforce good COVID 19 safety precautions and keep overall safety for their students and clients at the forefront at all times. This is a wonderful swim school - we couldn't be happier with how they have taught our daughter to swim as well as made it such a great experience that my daughter looks forward excitedly for every class. Top-notch!

Staff was not very kid friendly. My daughter took lessons for almost a full year here and when I finally took her out, not only was she not swimming but she was afraid of the water. I decided to try lessons with a different company and she was swimming within one week.

If I could have given this place a zero I would have. Teacher was extremely negative and made my kid hate going. She was afraid of getting her make up wet. If my kid didn't do what she said perfectly the first time, he was told he wasn't listening. My kid is four, he listens great for a four year old. It was absolutly infuriating to say the least. We left, and joined CRC in Temecula and it has been one of the best things we ever did! What a world of a difference - My son loves the water again!

We love taking our baby to Swim to Shore every Saturday. The pool is always a warm, perfect temperature. Infants are taught in a gradual, child-paced, and friendly class. Baby’s fears are soothed with positive reinforcement and encouragement. Instruction is never intensive or pushes the child too fast or too soon. The class is an ideal 25 minutes long. My baby always takes a very long nap after his swim “workout.” Through a soothing water medium, our baby is developing patience and motor development through repetition. The lessons are taught with toys (balls and toy animals), games, songs, motion and verbal communication that help stimulate and motivate the babies. My only mini-complaint is our change of instructors. Our first instructor in September of 2012, was a male instructor who was very enthusiastic with the babies. He would take our baby and show us through example of how to do all the exercises/activities. You could tell he loved his job and the children he worked with. He unfortunately stopped teaching our Saturday class and we now have another teacher. She isn’t enthusiastic with the babies nor shows us what to do with our babies by doing it first, although class is still great and our baby loves going to swim class. She just needs to work on being extra animated to motivate the babies more and not being hesitant about being more hands-on, in my opinion. Also, the make-up policy is difficult because we usually don’t have time during the week to do a makeup as we, both parents, work full-time Monday-Friday. To do a make-up you have to call the morning of and see if they can fit you in that day. We tried calling on a couple days during the week, and no one picked up the phone at 9:15 and 9:30am. Unfortunately, they do not open Sundays. Online, it only shows the open classes so you can’t see the other classes. It should show all of them so we can know when it is possible to do a makeup. Nonetheless, Swim to Shore is a great school and we look forward to seeing our baby grow in the program.
