I have gone to 2 sessions here and love it. I started coming for prenatal yoga and have loved this small class setting. Also I love that there is drop in pricing, $35 you can't beat it.

Seeking health, community and inner strength.
My becoming a sustaining member of Talo Yoga was motivated and facilitated most strongly by few health factors ( chronic upper back pain and to experience more freedom from anxious state of mind).
At present i primarily attend Emily's and Kate L- Saturday 75 min. Talo Flow class.
Talo Flow has been my best tool ever for stress reduction, better sleep, self care and for overall well being.

Kate L. is a gifted yoga teacher who does everything from her heart. I love the organization of her flow class into a larger structure that is dictated by an overall vision that integrates ( body, mind, spirit, social consciousness) and build on an integration of yoga traditions with modern science.
Her Yoga Flow is guided also by her own intuition, she will help you every step of the way and make you feel so rejuvenated that you will want to come back for more. The intimate setting, beautiful music, broken only by her soothing voice helping to settle you in for the 75 min. of magic that awaits you.
I treasure our Saturday session and always leave feeling peaceful and mentally and physically empowered.
You have a wonderful gift and i feel blessed that you share your knowledge with all your lucky students here in our Palo Alto community.
Namaste

I cannot recommend Talo Yoga highly enough!!
As a complete beginner with no prior experience, I was very anxious, and too nervous to join a group class initially, so I took private classes with Kate, and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed straight away. She took time to get to know me, and understand my personal goals with yoga and mindfulness, then structured our sessions to suit me personally, balancing our time between meditation and movements.
Her classes are very informative, and she also goes the extra mile and sends me movement sequences, articles and videos to watch between private sessions to help strengthen my practice, which is amazing and i have found very beneficial!
The studio itself is a calm, intimate space which has became a sanctuary for me; I now attend both private sessions and group classes regularly, and look forward to them each week.
Since practicing yoga and meditation with Kate, I have noticed a significant improvement in my life, both physically and mentally. I always feel like I’m floating as I leave a class and ready to take on whatever life may throw my way!
I’m so grateful to have Kate as my teacher and highly recommend her and Talo Yoga to anyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking to strengthen your practice!

I’ve had the pleasure of taking classes with Kate for the last few months. I keep coming back because every week I feel supported, excited, and challenged in her class. She’s truly a connector of people and always brings creativity and fun to her flows. Her classes are the highlight of my week and I’ve never felt stronger!

I’ve been going to Talo Yoga for their prenatal classes. Both providers (Devi and Emily) are incredibly empathetic people and so skilled at leading the class. I always walk away feeling happier and better centered. I also like their flow- poses designed specifically to help prepare you for L and D and stretches afterwards so you don’t end up with any more aches and pains. The studio is cozy and clean and I really appreciate that props (including mats) are provided.

This place is truly amazing. Small, curated, and very hospitable. The equipment was laid out to welcome us, and I felt like a guest and not a customer. I also liked that the parking was super close and I was able to walk right in. The only thing I wish was different was that they didn't have a mirror, I prefer yoga studios without them because I focus less on comparing myself to others or trying to be perfect and more on dropping into my body. But some people love it. I really really like this place!

I’ve been searching for an opportunity to practice Yin Yoga since moving to Palo Alto and so grateful to stumble onto Talo Yoga (thanks to Google Maps). Walked to class today and plan to bike next time. Small class sizes, beautiful zen space, amazing instructor and they even provide the mats! Thank you! Namaste!

I’m so impressed with Talo Yoga. From the moment you walk in, the space feels intentional—clean, modern, and effortlessly chic. It’s the kind of studio that instantly calms your nervous system before you’ve even unrolled your mat.

What sets Talo apart, though, is Emily and her teachers, they bring such depth and precision, every cue is thoughtful, every sequence purposeful. Whether you’re newer to yoga or have been practicing for years, you’ll feel both challenged and supported Talo’s classes.

Talo is more than just a beautiful space—it’s a high-level, high-integrity yoga experience. So glad to have found it

What an incredible studio! Exactly what Palo Alto and Silicom Valley need: a community-oriented, small space to unwind and find a pocket of peace. The instructors are fantastic — been looking for a place like this for awhile and so happy that it exists! Highly recommend

I have been attending the prenatal yoga classes on Fridays since January 2025, and I can't recommend this place enough. It's a small, intimate studio with a clean, naturally lit space and warm, welcoming tones. There's an air purifier, fan, and AC (though we haven’t even needed it yet), plus convenient parking and a bathroom—key when you're pregnant!

Emily, the owner, is incredibly kind and knows each of us by name. She’s created such a special little oasis here. Devi and Caitlin, who also teach the Friday classes, are just as warm and welcoming. The entire prenatal staff has cultivated a sweet, supportive community where we feel safe to connect and share our journeys.

Emily has also launched a postpartum class called Circle Moms for the 4th trimester—with babies, other moms, and a doula. I can’t wait to join the next group in July!

Talo Yoga is the best!! I had been looking for a small group yoga studio for many months and finally found this place. The vibe is super cozy and clean, and the studio community is super nice and friendly. I do both group lessons and private 1:1 sessions with Emily. Emily is one of the most patient, attentive yoga instructors I've ever had. I especially enjoy our private lessons. She takes time to really hear you out on what you're looking for and crafts a lesson plan specifically tailored to your needs. Our time together is always structured and intentional, though with space for exploration. I also appreciate that Emily recaps our lesson in an email summary each time, helping me digest what was covered and allows me to take the lesson home. If you're looking for a more dedicated, bespoke instructional experience to practice yoga, I highly recommend trying out private yoga lessons with Emily!!

Super cute new yoga studio right off Cal Ave! Emily was a wonderful instructor with modifications offered for all levels during each pose. The studio is very aesthetic and calming - all props are provided and brand new. The class small group is perfect for the size. First class is free and prices for monthly membership very reasonable, especially compared to other local options. This is a great small business to support for your practice!

The studio has a calm and inviting atmosphere - the size of the room allows for a cozy amount of students so that each person gets just the right amount of instructor attention (not too much and not too little)

Emily paces her flows with the right amount of movement and meditation, leaving you feeling balanced at the end of class 😌

Emily and Talo Yoga was incredible! Her teaching was fantastic, blending strong essentials with advanced poses, all while staying engaged and supportive of beginners. Her hands on approach (or willingness to let everyone choose their comfort) further showed an attention to detail that was greatly welcomed. Would recommend!
