Today is a year since I started working with Taylor on my health is wealth journey.
When I decided to start working out, it was important to me to find somewhere I was comfortable, somewhere big bodies were not looked down upon and someone who would hold me accountable .
During my consult, she took the time to understand my fitness goals and customized a plan of action to help us achieve them.
The next week I started personal training, twice a week.
After a few months of personal training, I joined her group classes as well.
Sessions with Taylor, whether personal or group, are challenging, fun, but more importantly leaves me with a feeling of accomplishment.
Taylor is knowledgeable in her field. She is encouraging. She makes sure my form and technique are correct. She knows when to push me and when I need a modification, sometimes before I do. And yes, she checks in on my non gym days to ensure I am staying on task.
I am still working on my endurance, but I am amazed by some things my body can now do. The scale is moving and the non scale victories keep on coming.
By no means, am I now a gym girlie, but like heard one of the other girls say, I don’t hate going to work out anymore. If you are serious about your fitness journey, I highly recommend Taylor at Taylor Made Fitness.

The atmosphere at Taylor made fitness is unmatched. To have a group of phenomenal individuals who might not know each other, come together for group fitness classes, and leave feeling like you have gained new family members and/or new friends. If you're having a bad day, take one Taylors classes and see how fast your bad day turns around. If you are having a good day, taking one of Taylors classes will make your day even better. I have attended Taylor’s personal training sessions for almost two years. Taylor challenges and motivates me to never give up!

We plan together strategies to build my strength, muscle, endurance,
confidence, and to improve my balance.

I have had four major strokes and a partial hip replacement over the last 8 years. Also, I am diabetic and use a walker as my mobility is limited. I need the walker for balance.

Cognitively, my communication is sharp and humor remains my medicine of choice.

My one on one training with Taylor is the best! I recommend you give Taylor a call and step on in to make your personal goals a reality.

Once you hit the 50's- things start getting real_ real quick-lol I'm now two years in personal training with Taylor and aside from the fact I have mad respect for this young women who's hustling to run her own business, she has completely transformed my health, my self esteem and my confidence. If you are at all on the fence about getting started or getting back at it_ If your questioning working with a younger women- I'm here to say it will be one of the BEST decisions you could make for yourself. Taylor is professional, educated, dependable and prides herself in creating a comfortable environment for all. TMF offers 1:1 PT, semi private and group classes- all worth every penny. I'll be a client of Taylor's for as long as she'll have me.. Don't think about it- Just give her 1 try!

Taylor is amazing and I am so grateful to have her as my personal trainer. She not only pushes me but doesn't let me get away with bad form. Since working with her these past couple of months I have noticed increased gains in my cycling and a decrease in lower back pain which has bothered me for years. Her studio is clean and welcoming, and she also has excellent group classes for those looking for group training as well. 10/10 recommend!

I've been training with Taylor for 5 months now and I absolutely love her, her gym, and the community she has built. It is truly such a special place.

I came in as a complete newbie to strength training but I've known for a long time I wanted to get into it because of the amazing health benefits it provides. I finally did it! I can't imagine going to any other gym now! Taylor knows her craft, she's patient, enthusiastic, caring and open minded. I've learned so much and I've increased my strength. I plan to stay at this gym for as long as possible!

Taylor offers private 1:1 training, semi-private training if you have a friend or partner you want to train with, group classes, and open gym access. No matter what you are looking for she can help you reach your goals. She even checks in with me outside of the time I spend at the gym, which is so helpful because I definitely need to be held accountable. I even participated in an event with her and some of the other gym members called Deka and it was a blast. Not to mention a huge accomplishment!

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed by Taylor and the other folks participating in the class. Not only did I feel included, but I also felt that the variations Taylor offered within the planned workouts were inclusive of my limitations. Taylor knows how to push you while being considerate of your fitness level. The space itself is top-notch. It's always impeccably clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus for me. The equipment is modern and in excellent condition, making workouts efficient and enjoyable. After a few years of being out of the gym, I was more out of shape than I’ve ever been and really nervous about starting again. I’ve been going to the Tues/Thurs group classes for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love them! It’s a challenge for sure and you will be pushed to your limit but it feels so good when you’re done! The other people are so encouraging and I’m definitely planning to keep going as long as I can.

10/10 TM Fitness has been one of the best things to happen to me this year. Taylor's personal training has impacted my life in such a positive way even outside of just working out, but also with my self confidence, relationship with food, etc. This studio is woman owned and run, it is small and intimate which I love since large crowded gyms intimidate me. Ironically after training with Taylor I feel more confident about going into a gym if I needed to, but I don't because between her personal trainings and group sessions I'm too sore (in a great way) to need to go into a gym on my rest days. My arms are still like jello after arm day yesterday. If you're looking for a new fitness studio and/or trainer, this is the place to go!

Taylor isn’t just your trainer. She’s your coach, friend, therapist, and more.

When I started my journey, I had been with other trainers. I was starving, wasn’t being given the tools to succeed outside of my sessions, and was talked down to as a form of motivation. I didn’t enjoy working out or look forward to my sessions. I wasn’t having fun or enjoying myself. I wasn’t building muscle.

Fast forward to several years later, and everything is different! Taylor is encouraging and pushes me, but not too much. Because of her, I EAT. I consume CARBS! I learn. I have a strong foundation. I look forward to the gym, even when I’m working out solo. Not to mention her gym is just a whole vibe!

Taylor has created a healthy, safe, and FUN environment for EVERYONE, at every level.

If you are looking into fitness that is not boring, you should seriously try Taylor Made fitness or her personal training. Taylor is very welcoming and helps every client with each movement. After few classes I felt my body strengthen. I was afraid to work out after an injury, but I am glad I joined TM fitness. Also, her classes are very affordable, unlike anything around that I have researched.

Only because I can’t figure out how to add additional reviews, I have to update this one.

If you haven’t stopped by Taylor’s for a group class or a personal training session, you must be running out of excuses. Let me calm your fears with the following information:
-Taylor and everyone I’ve met are really encouraging, nice, and loving people
-Classes are affordable
- Taylor has a wealth of knowledge to help in so many ways (building muscle, getting healthy, regaining mobility, etc.)
- Taylor is constantly finding unique events to have people join to keep everyone active (Spartan, DEKA, work outs at the park, group homes)
- Taylor keeps having custom t-shirts made that don’t shrink and are really cute
- The gym is clean and always smells nice
- There aren’t any creepy people

So now all that is left to say is I’ll see you on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6p and on Saturdays at 8:30am.

This workout journey started with a redhead (me) who wanted to jiggle less and it has now become a story about a redhead who can now jog a mile without stopping, squat 95lbs, and had to buy bigger pants because her thighs are so beautifully muscular.

I was looking for a gym where I could learn how to exercise and be held accountable. I found so much more than that at Taylor’s (who is also a redhead so you know she’s a good person). She is incredibly knowledgeable and knows exactly how far to push you before you contemplate crying on the gym floor. She emphasizes listening to your body, lifting safely, and always pushing a little bit harder than the time before.

I see Taylor for personal training twice a week and I like to go to the group classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 8:30am…hint hint) whenever possible. Every person I’ve met during the classes is funny, supportive, and helpful. It’s a gym full of really great people.

I’ve never felt so confident and I can’t encourage you enough to come check out this gem of a gym.

This has been the perfect place to kickstart making fitness a priority again. Everyone here is so nice and supportive. This is the longest I have stuck to consistently going to a gym/trainer in a long time. It is so easy to tailor the training to your needs. She offers personal training and group circuit classes 3 days a week (Tues & Thurs at 6 pm & Sat at 8:30 am). All types of people are welcome & you never have to feel uncomfortable or nervous working out.

If you’re looking for a trainer in the Roseville area, Taylormade fitness is where you want to go. I was referred to Taylor by a close friend in April and began to train with her personally twice and week. Her gym is very clean and in a nice location. I’m so grateful for her knowledge and dedication to fitness because she held me accountable and pushed out of all my comfort zones. From waking up to train at 5am, to lifting weights didn’t know I could, to completing a Spartan race. She trained me several others to join her in a Spartan race in SF this month (see pic below with our🏅) It was a great experience and I’m 1000% sure I would have never done it without Taylor. Thanks soooooo much Taylor 🫶🏾.

SO WORTH IT!!!

I have participated in 10 personal training sessions and several group classes so far and I am hooked! Her prices are more than reasonable & straight forward.

KIND & PROFESSIONAL:

We first met for an in-person consultation & I was instantly impressed by how kind & knowledgeable Taylor is . I am usually a shy person & pretty reserved but Taylor creates an environment where it's easy to let your guard down & enjoy your workout.

TAYLOR KNOWS HER STUFF:

Her passion and knowledge is evident and she takes the time to explain & demonstrate each exercise and the importance of proper form before clients begin. She will even take the time during a personal training session, or group class to ensure we all know what we're doing and that we're doing it correctly.

RESULTS:

I was so reluctant to weigh in after my first 8 sessions and was pleasantly surprised to see my results after just one month of training with Taylor. I'm not at a point where I am less concerned with how much I weigh and more in tune with how I feel and my increased strength.

I cannot possibly say enough positive things about this gym and Taylor herself to do it justice. I have known her for many years, but it wasn’t until she opened the gym that I reconnected with her because the program/gym/community that she started was something that I been searching for, for so long. I have extreme anxiety when trying to exercise at standard gyms, as many people do, so after my very first class here, I just knew that this place was so different. It was exactly what I had been holding out for. I have never felt judged, insecure, or uncomfortable here. The community and camaraderie that she has built is something you won’t find anywhere else. The classes are very affordable and accessible. Taylor is extraordinary at teaching you how to exercise in the most effective ways to achieve a healthy body safely. She is laid back, but will keep you accountable. She is supportive, understanding, accommodating, encouraging, and so so knowledgeable. All qualities that a trainer should have!

So I always worked out and thought I was in great shape, UNTIL I met Taylor at Taylor Made Fitness. She completely transformed my health, structure and all around fitness. I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in. She had me ready for a Spartan race that we did together and we are currently training for one in November. What makes her such a great trainer is that she actually cares about her clients. Helping people get fit, have confidence and to love their selves more without any judgment is truly her passion. Taylor Made Fitness is a gym like no other. The gym is new! It has great exercise equipment, weights, and offers tailored fitness classes and personal training. This gym provides a positive and clean environment free from judgement and overcrowding. The gym equipment gets sanitized before and after each use.  The owner of the gym is a compassionate personal trainer who is dedicated to working with you to obtain your fitness goals. Each fitness class has been gratifying by using an assortment of exercises aimed to help me build endurance, strengthen, and tone my muscles. I also find it thoughtful that the owner offers her clients refreshments at no charge. The owner makes getting in shape affordable and achievable for all walks of life and budgets. My teenager and I enjoy working out here. I highly recommend this gym!
