We specialize in high intensity, low impact interval training classes that will maximize fat loss , muscle building ( hypertrophy ) and strength building to get you in shape in 10 weeks or less.

We offer one on one personal training if you feel that you want more attention using highest quality equipment , certified education guidance and science based movements to optimize strength and muscle.

We also offer tandem training if you feel that it’s best to get to your best with a partner , spouse , brother , sister or friend.

Stretch training sessions are offer if you need more mobility, flexibility , endurance or offset muscle fatigue. ( cupping therapy ) available.

I came to Rahsaan at 6 months postpartum with a goal of loosing weight. He is the most amazing trainer I have known so far, so patient and understands to take it easy on the postpartum body. I have been working with Rahsaan for the past 2 months and have seen significant changes with respect to strength in my body. I didn't know I could ever move from 5 lbs to 15 lbs in just a matter of a month. I have lost both inches and weight and feel so much stronger. The most important thing that stood out with Rahsaan is the correct posture while exercising resulting in faster recovery following workouts as well as my body not hurting at the end of the day, which wasn't true with other gym memberships I have had in the past. Rahsaan also helped me heal my post pregnancy Sciatica by targeting the right muscles. Spoke with him briefly, explained what I was looking to accomplish, and what my issues were.

Rahsaan developed a personalized plan for me, focused on my desired goals, and taking into consideration my age and health history. He clearly is a seasoned pro that knows what he is doing and helps his clients achieve their goals.

His workouts are comprehensive and challenging, and consistently feel designed (and tweaked on-the-fly!) to fit my current skill-level while pushing for improvement. I started training with Rahsaan at the beginning of the year after having failed to establish a healthy training routine by myself. Not having a lot of friends that are interested in training with me, I felt that hiring a personal trainer would help me in understanding the basics of training, establish healthy habits, and being held accountable for my decisions.

I didn't know what to expect from a trainer either - as I've never hired one before. My goal was pretty simple - get back in shape, lose some weight, and be healthy.

When I started with Rahsaan, he was great about not rushing into things. He was realistic and just got me into the habit of training. We trained twice a week for the first month. Following that, once the routine was established, we switched to three times a week to focus on different areas of training - as opposed to trying to fit everything into two sessions per week.

Knowing that my goal was to lose weight, Rahsaan then introduced dieting and offered some simple ideas to follow. Diets can be really involved and having a really high barrier to entry can make it easy for diets to fail. Rahsaan had really great ideas to keep it simple and manageable for someone like me. In that month (my second month of training) - strictly following the diet and Rahsaans program, I was able to lose about 15lbs. Using the scanner that Rahsaan has in his facility, we were able to see how much fat and how much muscle mass had changed with the training. Rahsaan made sure I understood what was happening to my body from the diet and training.

That said, in the two months I was training, I probably learned more about training, dieting than I had ever in the past. I had also established really good habits to keep myself in check. With this understanding, Rahsaan gave me more options based on what was important to me. Did I want to build muscle? Did I want to slim down? He laid out everything, highlighted the pros and cons of each and allowed me to pick what I wanted to do then he would adjust his training to fit.

I can go on, but the point is that training with Rahsaan has been 1000% worth it for me. I feel like I'm on the right path to living healthier but also happier. Rahsaan is high energy - always trying to hype you up. He tries to be funny sometimes (lol) and is also very personable and relatable. I know Rahsaan's always looking out for what's best for me and what I want. The facility is always clean and Rahsaan is always making improvements so that he can do what he needs to do.

If you're thinking about considering Rahsaan, I'd highly recommend it. I'd also just note that you have to do your part to see results. Rahsaan will ask you to do cardio or adjust your diet and those things make a huge difference. Trust the process and you will see results.

I was introduced to TRF by my personal trainer at the time, Alex, and did a 12 week strength program with him. I really appreciated the small studio vibes, good music, and kind and helpful atmosphere.

I’ve also been taking HIIT and circuit classes on the other side of the gym. It’s fun, upbeat, quick-paced, and a hard workout every time. Between the music, lights, and fog, I feel like I’ve gone to the club minus the hangover lol.

My wife and I came here for the first time last Saturday to experience something new and boy did we :) From the moment we walked through those doors the energy was pumping, the staff was friendly and inviting, and we didn't feel out of place at all. The staff explained about going at your own pace, as well as they want to make sure you're having a great time while getting your butt kicked. The overall workout was challenging but not impossible for beginners like us, we had a lot of fun and we were definitely sore for a few days considering its been a while since we have done a full body workout :) I recommended trying this place out, you won't regret it.

I took a class on Saturday, I’m in my 50’s and I workout 6-7days a week and I love trying new workouts.
So I was curious and excited about this gym. The gym was clean, the energy & coaches were Amazing!!

I can't rave enough about my experience training under Rahsaan's guidance at TRF. Coming from a college sports background, I've experienced a lot of different forms of training, but this is by far the best workout I've ever done. I've been to Barry's, Orange Theory, F45, Rumble and all other types of boutique gyms that have the same similar interval training. They're all fine and challenging but Rahsaan's class completely kicked my butt. He's such an inspiring trainer and he really pushed me to an intensity I don't reach very often. We switched from cycling to strength training multiple times and I truly felt my heart rate would skyrocket more than any other gym I've been at. The people in the class were all supportive of each other as we did burpees and sped on the cycle. The space is clean and hip with really cool LED lighting. Parking was easy. Really good experience that I will definitely replicate again.

It doesn’t matter what level of fitness you think you’re at - Rahsaan will get sweat from your body. A beginner to fitness will find comfort in the community of the classes, as everyone greets each other, and the low impact is easy on the joints. Focusing on the perfect form and time under tension, you’ll be hard pressed to injure yourself if you listen to his instruction. Endurance athletes and cross-fitters won’t be immune to the work required to put into his sessions, I considered myself in good shape and Rahsaan has helped me reach a completely new level. I’ve gotten more comments on my fitness after taking his classes for a month than I ever have in a given period of my life. The place is impeccably clean, the layout very well thought out, and constant improvements in his system make TRF one of the best group fitness classes I’ve gone to - couldn’t recommend it more. I’m not a person to leave reviews, but if more places like his existed, the Bay Area would look like Sparta in ‘300’.

Rahsaan offers the most efficient and personalized workout I’ve experienced. I’ve worked out with several trainers over the years, and I’m seeing the fastest results form Rahsaan’s classes. Never boring, well paced, fun, and personalized (even in the group workouts). The efficient use of multiple muscle groups in the workouts are a plus. I feel like I get a 90 minute workout in the 45 minutes I’m there. Rahsaan’s fitness knowledge is unparalleled and are important to me as I’m in my mid-50s with past sports injuries/surgeries. I have been attending Team Rahsaan Fitness since he opened. I have found that personally I do much better holding myself accountable and getting the best workout as possible in a group environment. Rahsaan’s classes are great! He has amazing energy and makes sure to spread it evenly to everyone through class. The class sizes are perfect. Big enough to feel like group training but small enough that everyone feels a little one on one time with Rahsaan as well.

What I love most about Rahsaan is that he really takes pride in making sure that you are using your body properly during workouts to prevent injury. He makes modifications for each individual until they get the proper body movements down and then transitions them into the actual exercise using weights.

When I first started I was extremely out of shape and overweight. Rahsaan never once has made me feel like I don’t belong. He has pushed me to do better and be better. He is truly and amazing trainer and does what he loves to do.

This style of fitness training is like nothing I have experienced before. Low impact high intensity workouts mixed with weight training is great for me. No more joint pain and the results from fat burning are quick. Rahsaan is very helpful by motivating you to keep going. His training style is very supportive, with a lot of knowledge, and fun. Been taking his classes for almost 2 weeks now I love it!!!! it’s 45 minutes of high intensity low impact cardio and weights. The class has a 12 person max so it’s great because Rahsaan really gets to know you and he knows every bodies names and can really watch and make sure your form and technique is correct. Iv been working out for many years, I have had different trainers and been a member of other class based gyms and up until I started taking classes with Rahsaan I was use to lifting heavier weights BUT learning technique and form more Iv decreased my weight to improve which is giving me great results in the very short time Iv been taking classes. I’m addicted and would highly recommend anyone to try out his class and you def will be hooked because it that amazing! I’m already seeing my body tone up and like I said it’s only been less than 2 weeks!!!! Try his class out or do some personal training with him you won’t regret it!!!!

Love this place! The format of this class is great; I have limited time to work out and I feel like I really accomplish something serious in the 45 min timeframe (see photo). Rahsaan, the instructor/owner is a trainer that I've followed throughout his career because he knows what works: science. I have attended classes at Team Rahsaan Fitness for two months and I'm starting to see amazing results! My core is stronger, I'm leaner and I'm not sore after working out. People have started to complement me on how lean I look and I tell them this: I love Team Rahsaan's concept of low impact movements which targets different parts of the body throughout the week. My favorite part of the class is the ski machine! My favorite classes? (ALL OF THEM).
In the past 10 years, I was at a cross fit gym for 5 years and private training weight lifting for 5 years. To be honest, i was working out injured most of the time. For the past two months, I feel real good! The core strength exercises has helped with my knee pain and I'm walking, squatting, lunging and ice skating pain free! I can't wait to see what workouts are on the agenda for August. Rahsaan is a phenomenal coach who will get you the results you want. I hope to see you there!

Prior to working out with Rahsaan, my husband had experienced a very lengthy doubtful chronic back problem that quit honestly seemed incurable. Well, after working personally with Rahsaan for 4 months what a transformation! I attended my first T.R.F. class this weekend and it was AWESOME. You know you have had a great workout when you leave feeling physically energized and mentally jazzed. The 45 minute workouts focus on building muscle, slowly and with correct form, for optimized results. The style of the workout allows you to be able to train every day.
