I’ve been going to Tehachapi Strength for about 6 months now. Overall, it’s a great gym with solid equipment and a good community. However, there’s a regular member who consistently uses multiple machines at once and leaves weights on them, making it difficult for me to get workouts in. It’s frustrating when someone ties up several stations and doesn’t rerack their weights—it goes against basic gym etiquette. I hope the staff can step in and remind members to be more considerate so everyone can get the most out of their time here.

I love this place, is small but has all the equiçment you need. I began working out in October of 2024. I was afraid and shy because everyone is so fit. However, they are the nice people, friendly and helpful. I feel at home now, very comfortable with everyone.

Great gym with beautiful views. Has a great variety of equipment for powerlifting, body building, and all other fitness/lifting goals. It has a friendly and clean atmosphere, with a lot of well maintained gym equipment. Not to mention the 24/7 access fits my hectic schedule.

Great gym just wish I could go more. The gym is very clean. The equipment is very new and always in top shape. Have you ever been headed to the gym and forgot your headphones yeah usually the worst workout ever follows, I forgot mine the other day and worked out with the music they had playing. 10/10 awesome place.

Having recently relocated into town, I was looking for a new gym. I noticed that Tehachapi has several gyms and decided to join this gym. In my opinion, I did not feel welcomed at the gym. It was a very unwelcoming atmosphere from the person at the front desk. This is not my first time attending a gym. As a new resident in the area, I informed the person of my situation. In case you are interested in a gym membership, typically gyms will inform you of the rates for the monthly payment. No information was provided by me. The paperwork was just handed to me. I wasn’t giving information on the gym hours. I work for the state, I'm a facility manager at a STRTP. They only give discounts to certain state workers. Additionally, I'm a nursing student, so I did get a discount. Considering I signed up for the gym anyway, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and update my review later.

Love this gym, the atmosphere is great, great music, and an outdoor area. The owner is awesome, I reported an issue and he promptly gave me a call and began investigating. Thank you!

Well this review is way overdue!!! The atmosphere here is amazing its clean , crisp , bright and inviting , I am not a fan of commercial gyms and love we have a locally owned business here. Kourtney and her husband sorry I forgot his name, are amazing people they are not shy to go around and greet people or have a quick conversation. The gym is the perfect size with various equipment some I’ve never seen at other gyms. 99% of the equipment is new and most of the gym goers will clean off equipment after using. The major perk here for any family is the kids center they have I didn’t get a chance to capture a picture due to children being present. My wife and I have been working out here for over a year and just love it . I also love the support for our Troops and Law Enforcement its huge for someone like me who served. So if you are looking at gyms in town just stop looking and Join the Tehachapi Strength Family because honestly thats what it feels like when you walk in the doors !!!!

I absolutely love this gym! I’ve been a member for a little over 2 years the owner has always been so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is welcoming and the gym is always super clean with plenty of equipment. I recommend this gym to everyone
