Took a 6-yr-old and 10-year-old and they enjoyed the climbing structure and the game tables. The rock wall climbing was $6.59 (cost of the harness and shoes)

Very good commercial gym. I really love that each area is well segregated. There is a decent weight room, a general fitness area and a birthday center with the wall real estate being used efficently and flowy. As a climber from the early 2000s, I love that they haven't enveloped themselves into the comp style bouldering scene but rather hard lines that have movement that are accurate to outdoor climbs. Thank you guys for offering excellent customer service while I was in Chico for a short amount of time.

This gym would be good if it werenβt for the safety problems. The mats are easily the hardest Iβve seen in a boulder gym, Iβve been to around 10. Along with this, there was visible separation between the mats and the slab wall on multiple occasions. I worry for the safety of beginner climbers

Our kids love the indoor play area with slides, crawl tubes, obstacles, and climbing nets. Highly recommended to get the wiggles out!

I took my girls (8 and 12) to go climbing for their very first time today. We were a little nervous and intimidated. The staff person who helped us was sooooo patient and kind. She also really knew her stuff!
My youngest was super high maintenance finding comfortable shoes and getting confidence on the wall. She was so calm and kind and positive the entire time. Customer service is important to me and Terrain Park was top notch! I think that's especially important when trying something new. We will definitely be back!

Great (and only) bouldering gym in Chico. They have a good amount of climbing space, a lot of basic gym equipment, kilter board, and even a nice little lounge with games (like table tennis). Great for all ages.

Great gym for its size. Amazing staff and users. My only complaint has nothing to do with the gym itself. Parents, please watch your kids. This is a great activity for kids and I encourage families to come, however, when children are sprinting under you/standing directly under you when youβre climbing a route it makes for potentially serious injuries. Iβm a 200lb person and I fall off the wall if I canβt do certain moves (almost every climber does), and I REALLY donβt want to fall on a kid. Some kids are great, but most just donβt know any better. Please watch your kids for their safety and the safety of other climbers.

We have been just for an hour and a kid tells us we have to move because there is a birthday party and the whole wall was reserved. My kid is only 4 and just started learning on the easier terrain/wall. Well, we didnβt have our value back as we had to leave early. What? We didnβt pay enough for you or you didnβt know there was a birthday party coming up? Either way, poor value and poor communication!

Had a fantastic beginner class tonight - highly recommend you try it out if you're just starting out! Really appreciated the relaxed environment, the great instruction and encouragement, and all the friendly and welcoming people. The instructor was very patient and reassuring as I learned the basics, and I appreciated that he encouraged me to always push a little bit harder and try for the next step. Great experience - I'll be back!

Terrain park has everything you could want in a bouldering gym! I should note that they don't have any top rope routes here, but a wonderful variety of bouldering routes. TPCC all day!

The climbing wall is okay, and the staff is friendly but the music is overly loud and the choice (rap some gangster) is obnoxious and offencive. Most people bring their own so I don't understand why the music has to be inflicted on members.

Fun for all ages. Something for various skill levels. I wish there was more area dedicated to the youngest of climbers as the place was full of five and six year olds waiting to use the easiest area to climb. Overall a great place for kids on a rainy day. I'm glad Chico is getting places like this so there are options inside on the hot summer days as well as the winter.

We had our son's 7th birthday party there today and it was FANTASTIC! Jacob was our party dude and was perfect with the kids, attentive, active and fun without being overbearing or boring! We liked that they had a timeline in mind for activities like climbing limbo and team racing, but there was zero pressure to stick to it second by second. The party room was clean and set up for us which was great! Our son has already proclaimed he wants his party there again next year!

This gym is awesome. Great value for the money. It's got the bouldering walls which, for me, are a very different and more fun way of working out than just pumping iron. Then it's got a full weight room for if you want to pump iron! I'm new to this gym but I can say so far I'm impressed with the facility, the helpful and very friendly staff, and the people I've met already. I can't believe it isn't more well known! I'm definitely finding an excuse to work out now.

Originally I was extremely skeptical of the new bouldering gym coming to Chico. I consider myself an avid climber and I followed the development of this place from the very beginning. Trying to start a climbing gym in a place that has a relatively low climbing community is an extremely daunting task. However the owners of the Terrain Park are extremely dedicated and genuine people. Instead of just establishing a simple bouldering gym, they instead have started incorporating the community activities into their gym. They hold ping pong tournaments and hold climbing classes. It seems like there is always something different going on each week.
If you are looking to become a better climber, or just going to meet new people and have fun, this is the place!

Was there for my nephew's birthday. Bunch of 4-8 year olds bouncing all over the place. Staff was awesome gave the kids a little bit of a pre training for the walls and cut them loose, were more than happy to help the parents get oriented if they wanted to try out climbing. Kids seemed to have a great time. Very laid back atmosphere. As for the walls, it's all bouldering, so no rope work. Have a gym as well, and a couple of low slack lines of you want to try them out.
