The school has amazing staff. They are kind, passionate, and have created an environment that fosters friendships, a joy for learning, and a sense of accomplishment. My kiddo has tried ballet, tap, singing lessons, and piano lessons all have been an amazing and rewarding experience. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

The Ballet School Performing Arts creates an exceptional environment for students of all ages and dance backgrounds to learn and explore ballet, musical theatre and other forms of dance. The staff are always kind, friendly, encouraging and upbeat. You can tell they strive to connect with each and every student. TSPBA is a small known local business that actively contributes to and participates in the Walnut Creek community. They currently offer virtual dance classes to comply with local health regulations, promote and support the health and safety of their students and staff. This place is amazing!!! They offer not only wonderful classes of youth, but also a terrific Adult program also. Others try to mimic this style of teaching. This is the original! The location is new, but the discipline and teaching is just as amazing as it was at the old location. Stop by! It is worth the trip.

I've been going to The Ballet School since I was a kid. Now that I'm an adult I've been going to the drop in classes when I can to keep in shape. I really appreciate that the classes are drop in instead you having to sign up on a schedule, so if I can't make it to a class I'm not wasting my money. They have classes for all levels which I also really appreciate. The new studio is a huge upgrade from the old one. They have large studios, brand new flooring, and working AC. I love the staff here they're super welcoming and helpful. Highly reccomend for both those who have never done ballet before and wanna try and those who have been taking for years.

I have been coming to the ballet school since I was in middle school and attended the drop in teen/adult classes. I took an 8 year “hiatus” while in college and after, however I got sick of going to the gym and missed my old dancing life. It took me about a year to convince myself to come back (to be honest, I was scared to go back after stopping for so long) and I am SO glad I did. The staff is so welcoming, and helps you gain or regain your confidence with patience, kindness, and coaching.

For anyone looking to start dancing, as toddler to an adult, or looking for a studio to continue to grow your skills, I HIGHLY recommended coming to the ballet school. Their approach to teaching is filled with positivity and encouragement, and I plan on being a student here for years to come.

We absolutely love The Ballet School! I didn’t had the pleasure to meet Lareen Fender but I can feel her legacy through the love and care her granddaughters continue to do at this lovely school. We’ve always felt very welcomed here and we can’t imagine going anywhere else. My daughter has loved all her teachers and her little pals, she’s even met one of her most precious little friend here.

I love The Ballet School with all of my heart. My experiences there have been wonderful, so much so that The Ballet School is the first and last place I go when visiting home from college.

The staff there is wonderful and models kindness, optimism, professionalism, and dedication for their students. It is hard to not be inspired by everyone there. In classes, teachers consistently talk about how to healthily work on improving in exercises, flexibility, and more.

Other than the incredible classes and teachers, I have also made lifelong friends there that I would not have without taking amazing drop-in classes. We look forward to going every week.

I would not be the hardworking, passionate person I am today without The Ballet School and its staff.
