The Bar Method Fremont is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. Took a few classes through classpass. Would have taken more if they even have any spots open. They should have more classes! I considered joining the unlimited option directly but I see their schedule is fully booked for many days in advance even for their own members. They are missing an opportunity here!

Abby and her team are very welcoming. The facilities are lovely and clean. Nice vibe. Free lockers. Parking is plentiful. My primary work out is crossfit but I absolutely love bar method for toning and stretching it's like an antidote to my other workouts for a well-rounded balance. Really reaches all sorts of neglected tiny core muscles.

I'm thrilled with my time at this Barre studio! The environment is top-notch, with ample parking in the plaza, a clean and fragrant studio, and exceptional organization. I love that this workout is inspired by ballet. Great studio and all the instructors are very sweet. I especially like it that they personally make it an effort to correct your form, when youβre making a mistake. This has really helped me improve my posture and keep perfecting my exercise. If youβre a beginner and want to see body tone results, Iβd suggest to stick to it for atleast for a couple of months.

I have been attending classes at the Bar Method in Fremont for quite some time. I really wanted to find an exercise practice where I could improve posture, strength and flexibility. I went on line to learn more about barre exercise in general and was most impressed with The Bar Method because of their focus on safety. The minute you walk in the front door you are met with welcoming smiles. The instructors are excellent, knowledgeable, encouraging and kind. They have really helped me to get the most out of each exercise session and they offer the perfect ratio of correction to affirmation. The people who attend classes are very friendly and fun. When we have a particularly challenging class we often laugh or smile with each other at the end. The exercise is challenging enough to keep me interested without feeling defeated. If you are considering trying the Bar Method, I would say, go for it! I am so glad I did.

My heart is full with gratitude for finding the Bar Method. In my earlier years I studied ballet, then as time went on I remained fit by participating in fitness classes and eventually became a Body Pump Insructor. As a result of so much fitness I had to have hip replacement and then total knee replacement.
Since my healing journey needed more mobility, I've been very blessed to find the Bar Method. The Instructors are Awesome and there is NO judgement from anyone. I'm now in my 60's and part of me has come back by joining Bar Method classes. Thank you to The Bar Method! π

I've been going to TBM for over two year now. It's a great workout. Exercises for the whole body. Love the stretching throughout the workout. Low impact. You can actually see your progression in strength and changes in your body. Instructors instruct. They are constantly walking around to help adjust your body if necessary. Will individualize your exercises if you have some limitations. Very friendly staff. Very clean workout facility. I would highly recommend.

I just love the Bar Method Fremont!! It's been such a great, empowering, and uplifting time since I started going in January. The ladies there are so sweet and friendly and do fun things while sweating it out. Love them π

It is great that the instructors would correct me if the posture is not right. Friendly staff for the most part. The only reason why I did not rate a 4 is because when I ended my trial and started the one-month membership, I was told over the phone to come by the front desk to pick up my welcome gift and sign a form. When I approached the front desk, the staff member seemed frazzled and confused about the form and did not give me the gift. I had to ask for it at the end of the class when I realized it was not "on hold" as communicated to me.

I had shoulder and back injuries in the past, the Barre moves taught here helped strengthen my core and build lean muscles Iβve always wanted.
The instructors modify the moves for me to prevent flare ups and correct my posture to protect me from any injury.

Amazing classes!
I went into the class not knowing what I was in for, but I love the combination of techniques we do. The staff and instructors are really friendly and helpful. I love how the instructor will help fix your posture or position, so that you are working out the correct part of your body. I already started seeing results after going to about a week or two of these classes. I definitely recommend this for people of all ages who wants to add a little kick to your life.

I love the workouts here - they can be modified for beginners or advanced clients. The staff is super friendly and the instructors make a point to learn your name. I have been interested in trying out some sort of ballet type exercise and when I moved back home, I found The Bar Method.
The first class was definitely the hardest, but the teachers are so kind and welcoming that it made me feel very comfortable. I immediately fell in love with The Bar Method after the first few classes. All the teachers learn your name and are always willing to correct you to make sure you have the best form!
The Bar Method focuses on small movements with your muscles. The music is great, the ambiance is very welcoming, and the community is great.

So many positive things to share about The Bar Method - Fremont!
First, the staff...amazing, the front desk, the child care providers and all the teachers are so kind, welcoming and friendly. They make sure to learn your name and call you by name which I appreciate! You really feel you are part of a family when you walk in the doors.
Second, the workout, it's fantastic. When I first started I wasn't sure it would be challenging enough because I was used to intense workouts with lots of jumping, burpees, lifting heavier weights, etc., and I didn't think I could get a good workout without doing all those things. I was wrong, the strength I have gained in muscles all over my body feels great! Flexibility is something I have always struggled with, I am now the most flexible I have been since I was a kid.
Finally, the community, so awesome! You really start to build relationships with the people you meet in class and it's nice watching everyone push themselves in class and watching their bodies change in front of my eyes.
I am so happy The Bar Method came to Fremont and I look forward to continuing to improve my body, mind and health with The Bar Method helping me along the way!

I have been going here for 7 months now. Iβm happy to say that I finally found something I love doing, and motivated to keep going. Although results are not fast, after 6 months I have noticed that my body is more sculpted. I think for the first time ever my body has looked itβs best. I have never been in more shape then I am now. I havenβt really lost weight, but have gained muscle and lost inches. Hopefully I can get more flexibility with time. I love all the instructors, they are very knowledgeable, and always make sure I am doing exercises correctly, to avoid injury. The rest of the staff is so friendly as well. I love doing the challenges here as well. Over all this has been a wonderful experience, and I will continue to keep coming. Thanks!!!

I never heard of the Bar Method until my sister asked me to do the trial month last year when they were just opening up. I was super excited because I've always loved ballet and how ballerina's are super strong.
Although it's low impact, my very first class kicked my butt. I was so sore, yet I found myself wanting to go back for more. The classes are structured and go through each part of your body in the same order, but they offer modifications for those that want to push their limits more in class. The teachers are so friendly and I love how they help you to use the correct form. I found that it actually even helped with my asthma somehow. I don't need my inhaler as often as I used to and I don't struggle going up the stairs as much either. =)
The studio is very cute, the teachers are friendly and make me feel like family instead of just a paying customer. I feel like they truly want me to get better and stronger. I'm obsessed with this place and the workout!
