The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre, and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does our barre workout reshape your entire body, it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident, and poised! Highly-trained instructors provide form adjustments to ensure every exercise effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. Absolutely love the Bar Method exercise program. I’ve made great strikes in building muscle, posture, and strength.

Bar Method Livermore is an awesome exercise community and an amazing all-around workout. In one hour you truly feel like you can check off exercise for the day!! The full hour original Bar Method class is my all time favorite.....starting with a light warm up, working into exercise sets for your arms, calves, thighs, gluts and abs......in between sets there are plenty of push ups, planks and stretching!! I started in 2010 when my third child started kindergarten and now well into menopause I credit Bar Method for helping maintain my weight, being able to keep up with my super fit family and avoiding mid life meds!! Come check out the Livermore studio, make some new friends and start a fitness routine you will love and be able to stick with for years to come.

Joining The Bar Method has been an excellent experience. Before the The Bar Method, my only form of exercise was walking. I am personally really self conscious at workout classes. I did Zumba with my best friend in her apartment and felt like a fool messing everything up.
I have never felt self conscious at the barre. I even feel alright choosing not to do an exercise.
It is a wonderful environment. I enjoy the variety of classes and results in one of the best full body workouts I’ve had.

I have never loved working out, but have finally found motivation in coming to The Bar Method. Every day with barre, I feel stronger, more flexible, more capable and connected to my body. The workouts are approachable for those beginning their fitness journey with more advanced classes for those looking to add something new to their routine. I did a trial membership at the Bar Method Labor Day weekend and joined as soon as my trial was up. Three months later and i'm still going regularly and very much enjoying this studio! All the teachers are great and the facility is just beautiful. I like that they offer a Restore class with more stretching on Sunday late mornings to recover and for a bit more relaxation. You won't regret giving this place a try!

Even with over 1200 classes under my belt, the Bar Method is still an intense workout, and the studio space in Livermore is amazing! Large ceiling fans and a/c keep the room very comfortable as we Glow through the moves.

The instructors here do a great job of keeping the workouts fresh with different combinations of choreography to keep us alert and engaged. So nice to be back in person!

Meghan is awesome. As an instructor her barre classes are always challenging and fun. She is also an excellent Health coach, I reached out to her with some digestive issues. The Bar Method classes are challenging, fast-paced, upbeat and fun. Each class is different in format and style, which means you can never be on auto pilot. People in the class are friendly and the experienced instructors (Meghan and Bobbi from Livermore) are always watching to correct and show you alternatives if you have injuries. The environment is so welcoming and appropriate for all levels of fitness. I continue to learn more than just exercises, but also about my body, posture, proper mechanics and form. They kick my butt and make me work all accessory and foundation muscles. Can call these classes a full body rehab and great maintenance. Can’t live without my daily fix!!

I wanted to feel energized and good after my work out instead of sore and exhausted. So my friend (who happens to be the owner) suggested I come try out the Bar Method. I was surprised at how good I felt after class and with how fast my body changed. It is also nice going to a place where you are known and given attention. All of the teachers are encouraging, knowledgeable, and also push you to do your best. I highly recommend the bar method to anyone who wants to feel good and taken care of.

I have always been an avid exerciser since high school but the last few years fell out of habit due to stress and life situations. Every time I would restart a routine my body would hurt more than it used to and it would take me a week to recover and then I would get out of habit again. Finding the Bar Method has been a breath of fresh air and a renewal in wanting to exercise again. It's an amazing workout where you wear socks and stand on plush carpet and do movements anyone is able to do....but its still super toning and awesome. Highly recommend...especially if other gyms or programs have not been your thing but you want to get back into shape again.

I have nothing but great things to share about Bar Method Livermore. I was completely new to barre when I took my first class here, and I joined with an unlimited membership the day that my free trial week ended (yes, you heard that right).

Meghan and her team are upbeat, friendly, and always encouraging you to push your limits (because you probably can push an inch lower, even if your legs are shaking like an earthquake). I have discovered muscles I didn't know existed, and found strength within myself that I hadn't seen before joining Bar Method.

It just so happened that my first class was also the first day of the "Rise to the Challenge." Aiming for 25 classes in 35 days is tough for a beginner, but with such an encouraging community, it's been both fun and so worth it!

I have attended classes at the Bar Method for the last four months. Before attending I was not in the habit of regular exercise. I find the instructors to give clear instructions, ideas for modifying exercises to meet individual student needs. I have taken evening classes from Megan and Jenn, they are both excellent instructors! I take four classes a week, the facility is pleasant with a relaxing environment and it is very clean. I am stronger and I am consistently loosing body fat while building muscle. I am so happy the Bar Method is in Livermore!

I have been a client at The Bar Method for 15(?) years - on and off. It is the thing I always go back to. Years ago, when I attended classes 4-5 times a week, I was literally in the best shape of my life. Imagine how excited I was when I learned Bar was coming to my hometown! I have not been disappointed.
What I love:
1. Megan and her crew of teachers are knowledgeable, kind, encouraging, and informative.

I took a Bar Method Livermore popup class at Ehrenberg Cellars last weekend and it was my first real barre class experience. I actually had fun while being challenged at the same time. I feel that I had a good workout and I like that there's a lot of stretching involved between sets too. Meghan is a great instructor and I love that she will take the time to adjust your posture/position and make sure you're doing the workout correctly. Cant wait for their grand opening so I can take classes at their new studio!
