The Bar Method Newport Beach is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. I absolutely love the bar method! I’ve tried numerous barre workout classes, but none can match the exceptional teaching style offered at Bar Method. The facility is beautiful, and every instructor is truly exceptional. I particularly appreciate their meticulous approach to ensuring optimal form, maximizing results, and preventing injuries. Absolutely Positively - no place better for barre. I literally drive 50 minutes for an hour class and I savor every minute. The instructors just care so much about giving you the best booty kicking workout. A million thank yous for being BEYOND wonderful! Bar Method for life :)

The Bar Method is a low-impact, high-intensity workout that uses isometric exercises to tone and strengthen your entire body. The classes are designed to be challenging but not overwhelming, and they are perfect for people of all fitness levels.
Since I have been taking Bar classes I have seen a huge difference in my body. I am stronger, more toned, and I have more energy. I also love the fact that the classes are only 55 minutes long, so they are easy to fit into my busy schedule.

Love how the Bar Method has adapted to coronavirus by opening a gorgeous, private outdoor studio in a courtyard underneath shady olive trees. I've missed the indoor studio, but now I look forward to getting my "shake" on outdoors. The instructors are friendly, motivating, and top notch. Plus, when I'm on the go, I can catch the workouts on Instagram Live. Thanks to Bar Method, I've never been stronger, more toned, or felt more energized!

I walked down from my house to come to a class which I read online was advanced. I was perfectly fine with that since I have been teaching Pilates since 2003 and practicing fitness classes longer. I was judged the minute I walked in the door in my opinion. I have attended many bar method classes from the old Costa Mesa studio all the way to San Diego in my college days. Long story short the class was pretty empty and they turned me away and told me
I could attend another class. No thank you! I won’t be back.
