We are a boutique barre fitness studio offering over 30 classes per week with a variety of class formats, including classic barre classes, weighted barre classes, and cardio barre classes. We offer childcare on site as well as full, remodeled locker room and bathrooms with showers. We have served the community for almost 20 years and look forward to welcoming you!

I love The Bar Method in Walnut Creek! The instructors are outstanding, and the classes are low-impact but always challenging in the best way possible. The studio has a welcoming atmosphere, and I always feel stronger after class. Parking is so easy! It's definitely my favorite place to work out!

My happy place! All of the instructors are well trained and informed, always willing to help with modifications or any questions you might have. They always know how to make the classes fun too. I also love the variety of classes they offer. Cardio, strength, classic barre, even a class for those of us who want to get a workout in but don’t have time for a full hour class. I always can’t wait to get my workout in!

I absolutely LOVE this studio - the workout, class offerings, playlists, and every teacher is my favorite!!! As a self proclaimed workout connoisseur every workout is different, safe, effective, efficient, and fun! Each teacher brings their own unique sense of humor and the staff has created a really warm and embracing community:). Just know it is addicting;). I feel the effects and benefits of the workout in every facet of my life - from the mundane to competing in long distance open water swims! If you've been contemplating trying it, just do it! I assure that you'll love it!

Every class that I have taken has been a great workout. I leave after every class feeling energized and definitely worked out. Everyone is incredibly friendly, positive and very welcoming. The instructors are kind and supportive in helping me with the exercises. A friend said to me after a class, “it doesn’t get easier, we get better”.

The Walnut Creek Bar Method has far exceeded my expectations! The program is fun, challenges me more than I ever thought possible, while feeling safe and seeing others modifying movements just like me (and not feeling “less than” about it). I feel great knowing that I am doing so much for my physical and mental wellbeing. I cannot say enough great things about The Bar Method in Walnut Creek! From the moment I joined at the end of last year, I felt instantly welcomed by the incredible community. The studio has such a warm and friendly atmosphere and you truly feel like you are part of something special. Audrey, the owner, is absolutely lovely--so personable, kind, and genuinely invested in every member's experience.
The instructors are all fantastic--knowledgeable, supportive and always bringing great energy to class. Every class is so well structured and I love the fact the the instructors ensure that you are doing each exercise in the correct way. I have noticed such positive changes in my body since starting: more toning, better posture and an increase in overall strength. I really look forward to going to class and have met some wonderful here. If you are looking for a workout that delivers results in a supportive, uplifting environment, this is the place. Great for early morning classes! I needed something that was easy to get to and had an early enough start time that I could go before work. Plenty of 6 AM & 7 AM classes M-F. Plenty of parking (at least at 6 am…)
Class was great. Welcoming and supportive group with everyone being super nice and the instructor was clearly very familiar with everyone and gave encouragement and help by name.
I’m pretty out of shape and I like that one can dial it up or down depending on one’s fitness level. The class was satisfying and I can see that there is a lot of room for my fitness to grow. Looking forward to coming back.

Wow time flies, my first class with this Walnut Creek/Oakland team was in 2015 at their former San Ramon studio. I have been enjoying the team of motivating teachers at SR and their Walnut Creek studios ever since. It has been my 3rd community- of joy during the normal stress of every day and the pandemic period.
I even moved out of the area summer of 2021- but thanks to the pandemic, they have had a livestream option that remains a new normal to their operations. I get to keep one of the good parts of CA, by still working out with this studio in my new State.
The Walnut Creek/Oakland franchise owned studios stands out from all other East Bay Bar Method locations- as they have 6 Master Teachers within their team, and many other quality teachers on their way to reaching master level... they are the OG of East Bay Bar Method.
I have valued their clear teachings- even on-line. In studio- they have offered excellent modifications through my various hip, knee and just getting old injuries. I would not be half as aware of my body without this team.
I am more tone, fit, and flexible going into my 5th decade of life than I ever expected I would be. I can realistically dream remaining active and still doing this for future decades to come. Love this team and the community they provide.

I love coming here ! They make you feel extremely comfortable !!!! Not to mention this is a perfect spot if you need a little getaway and have kiddos ! Even though spots can be limited they provide a place for children to play and have fun while your taking a class! I’m so glad I tried going here on a whim after having my daughter. If you haven’t been I highly recommend going !!!

After 2 years of remodeling my fixer-upper home I’m so happy to be working out again. As a former dancer, Bar Method is the perfect workout for me and the Walnut Creek studio is awesome. I love getting my strength back while meeting inspiring, amazing women instructors and fellow bar-methoders. The workouts are professionally structured and super motivating, putting you in an immediate good mood. After only a few classes I feel my body tightening again and look forward to that awesome tone.

I’ve been doing Bar Method for three years at the Walnut Creek location. While I consider my self a fitness enthusiast- I can get bored with workouts rather quickly. With that being said I always find myself coming to bar at least twice a week- nothing beats the ab and seat work! I love so many of the instructors but when I get really excited is when I’m able to take Cassandra’s class (unfortunately her teaching times don’t coordinate with my work schedule)! The lucky times I am able to take her class, I’m never disappointed by the shakes she delivers to everyone in class!! She’s true to the integrity of bar method but also isn’t afraid to try new things that keep your mind and body guessing.... WHATS NEXT?! Bravo Bar Method WC! You can count on me to always support the work that you ladies do.

I went to the Bar Method in San Diego for many years before relocating to the Bay Area. When I saw the studio in Walnut Creek for the first time, I screamed out loud! I was so excited. The best thing about this studio is the instructors— every single one is amazing— truly! I take class downtown SF more often because of work, but Walnut Creek is now my favorite studio. As always, the workout is the best of any workout. I go to spin a couple of times a week, but nothing beats Bar Method. It works every muscle in your body, it’s fun, and it shows real results. What started out as a Groupon for 30 days unlimited has transitioned to a full membership in a matter of months. I can't say enough good things about this particular studio or it's outstanding instructors (and I've been to Pure Barre in Walnut Creek and One Love Bike & Barre in Ridgewood, NJ). I've subconsciously compared every studio to this one. For the record, I'm also a member of Orange Theory, Training For Warriors, Impulse Studio, City Sports Club, and Planet Fitness here in Concord. Bar Method feels like my second family. Sometimes I double up on workouts but I always end with Bar Method. Unlike the other places, I go every day because I need it like oxygen. I can see the transformation in my body and I feel awesome. I think I actually grew an inch. My posture has improved significantly and I'm getting more flexible every day. Six pack is visible. And my arms and shoulders? Fuggedaboouut it!! You can literally bounce a quarter off my thighs and seat. Just sayin'...
I had a body fat analysis done back in June (over 31%) versus again just this month in November (down to 20.9%). What a drop!!
Bar Method is the best thing I've ever done. Do yourself a huge favor and check them out.

Before I had kids I used to attend classes regularly and I stopped for a few years( 2 kids in 2 years) but now that I’m back I’m still so impressed with the studio, classes and instructors. The instructors have helped me modify(I’m 3 months post partum) and have made me feel like I can definitely get back into the swing of things. Everyone is super friendly, the studio is well maintained and the classes always leave my legs shaking!

I had a friend talk me into giving Bar Method a try. I practice yoga but felt I needed something more. I instantly knew after the first 10 minuets of the first class that this was going to definitely get me stronger and back in shape. It is actually addictive. I also have a knee issue I’ve been babying for about 6 months and I was going to start physical therapy. After about 6 classes I noticed my knee issue was feeling much better! I have been taking Bar Method classes during my 5th pregnancy. I am a surrogate and found that the low impact, yet challenging, toning, sculpting, fun classes have helped me keep up my energy.
I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and still taking Bar 5-6 times a week.
Looking forward to returning to The Bar Method after I deliver.
All the instructors are very knowledgeable with pregnancy modifications. I never feel cheated out of my workout.
