Cannot recommend this place enough. I came here for my entire pregnancy and now through postpartum. All the teachers are phenomenal and the space is so serene. Worth every penny. I honestly can't stfu about it and will tell anyone who will listen how great this movement modality is for your body.
That said, if you've never done gyrotonic before, i highly highly encourage you follow their recommendation to book a private lesson or two before doing group classes. There's a bit of a learning curve to the towers and to really get the most out of the experience, it's important to have a basic understanding of how they function.

Absolutely love The Body Los Feliz!
This space is a true gem—equal parts grounding and elevating. From the moment you walk in, you feel held, seen, and supported. The practitioners are deeply skilled and intuitive, the atmosphere is serene and energetically clear, and every experience feels like it’s been curated with care. It’s rare to find a place that honors the body, mind, and spirit so holistically. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect, recharge, and realign.
As a former dancer, I’ve worked with a lot of movement professionals—and Sarah stands out. I’ve really gravitated toward Gyrotonic, and working with Sarah has been a perfect fit. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, attentive to detail, and brings a strong, grounded approach to the work. Each session feels thoughtful, intelligently sequenced, and tailored to what I need that day. I’ve noticed real improvements in strength, mobility, and overall body awareness. Highly recommend Sarah for anyone looking to move better and feel better—whether you’re coming from a professional background or just starting out.

I’ve loved every group class offering at this beautifully communal studio. First off, the incredibly creative and thoughtful Gyrotonics teachers have helped me unlock new levels of strength and mobility in my body. Classes are basically semi privates, with only three students per class, so you get personalized attention. Beyond Gyrotonics, I highly recommend the Restore yoga & breath-work classes! The teachers are experts in sharing these practices, and the space is beautifully well-suited for it. This studio is dreamy and has such diverse, high quality offerings, all in one place!

The Body group classes have become an incredible extension of my practice and a fun way to get consistent movement in each week. I train privately with Sarah L. (she’s AMAZING), and now I also take her group class twice a week...truly the best of both worlds. I still get personalized attention and work tailored to my needs, while also enjoying the energy and community of a small group.
In the group setting, it never feels crowded or overlooked; with a maximum of three people, there’s still plenty of 1:1 focus. We also get to explore movements that others in the group need or enjoy, which keeps things interesting and helps me grow in new ways.
I’ve met such incredible people here and always feel welcomed by everyone who works at the studio. I genuinely look forward to every visit. I can’t recommend it enough, come see what it’s all about. You won’t regret it.

What a quaint studio! I have had great experiences here in group classes, a training and in private sessions. Nina pays attention to detail and gives excellent explanations & modifications. She works well with each person to get the most out of their Gyrotonic experience. I highly recommend this studio if you're interested in exploring the Gyrotonic method to enhance your overall physical and mental health.

This is one of the only places in LA where you can take a group GYROTONIC class and oh my god are they incredible! Nina is such a force - the best teacher, perceptive, intuitive, fun, and filled with so much warmth and light. If you can get a class with Nina or any teacher at the body you are in for a major treat! It’s a great workout while also relaxing and balancing. My body, spine, and mind has been changed forever from this studio. It the best in LA for a reason. 200/10.

What an amazing experience! I attended the An Evening of Healing: Sound, Breath, Reiki and Movement with Nina and Allison… it’s was EPIC! I’m usually pretty skeptical about this kind of stuff, but let me just say my body has never felt better! I was so relaxed the whole ride home and I slept better than I have in years. I highly recommend and will be attending future events at “The Body Los Feliz.”
Nina and Allison were both great! Nina did Reiki and Movement… while Allison did Breathwork and the Sound Bath. Their calming presence made this first-timer so comfortable! The others in the class were also very nice and helpful. What a great community!
After we finished, we were treated to tea and sat around talking about the experience. The highlight for me was Nina’s Reiki mixed with Allison’s Sound Bath. The Reiki relaxed my body so much that my knee pain went away. I’ve been dealing with knee pain for many years due to athletic injuries and resulting surgeries. The Sound Bath radiated through my body and extinguished the stresses I was feeling from the day. Mixed with the Breathwork and Movement…. my body was on cloud 9! No Exaggeration!
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I definitely recommend this event! There are also many other classes and events at “The Body Los Feliz” that intrigue me. I’m going to head back to the website and sign up for more!!!

I felt disappointed after my class with Nina today.
It was a small group of three participants total. Since it was my first time, I arrived early and shared information about my health and the specific exercise (just one exercise!) I’m contraindicated to do.
Nina decided to focus on that exercise that class. I had to sit out. No adjustments or alternative movements were offered. During the session, the instructor approached me about three to four times, encouraging me to try the exercise I had explained I couldn’t do. Each time, I needed to repeat myself saying it’s not good for me.
At one point, while I was sitting out, I tried to stretch and do safe movements on my own, but I was asked to stop and sit down for my safety. I found this confusing, since before the class I had been TOLD to stretch on my own and I did that SAME stretch! The instructor saw me doing it!
After class, the instructor encouraged me to sign up for an in-person session. However, given that this class only had three people and I didn’t receive ANY suitable modifications (I used to work as a personal trainer so I really know what I am talking about), there is no way I am gong back.
I didn’t feel my experience reflected the studio’s focus on spine health and individualized small group approach.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed and regretted attending, especially considering the $65 class fee.

Lovely sound bath with Chase every Friday evening at 7pm for an hour. Includes breathwork.
Such a gentle experience with the chakra sound bowls and the shell chimes that sound like twinkling coals. Mats and blankets provided and the candles and smell of lavender added to the depth of the experience.

I love the group classes here! It’s such a unique and amazing work out that you can’t really get most places in la. The space is so cool and the vibes are great. All the instructors are amazing and each have their own flavor. Also it’s next to a cute coffee shop so that’s a plus too! Love it!

A great workout yesterday with Nina. She was able to accommodate a group of 4 of us for a team workout. Really helpful mobility work to supplement my strength training. Highly recommend.
