This an awesome place to start a weight loss journey. Along with the regular classes they offer additional classes for specific weight training. All of the team members are great and offer modifications if you have any injures. They also offer military discounts and are military friendly.

Just completed my first 6 week challenge successfully and here’s how my experience went:
1:1 Coaching w Karina- You’ve gotta be honest with yourself and her during the check ins. She does a great job at providing workarounds to meet goals and is supportive as long as you give her the full picture.
Meal plan: Easy & self-explanatory. I found it easiest to stick to alternating the same two meals & that helped keep me on track. Karina had good suggestions on meal recommendations.
Classes/exercise: Love the flexibility of the class schedules & attend 3 times in a row, one rest day. I came in with some knowledge of some of the workouts but felt more comfortable as the challenge progressed. Not all the coaches check for form/check in so I found it helpful to flag a coach down if I wasn’t 100% sure on my form to avoid any injury or back pain. Larry’s classes are the most challenging but all coaches provide strong & inspiring classes. My favorite part of attending is that everyone comes in with 110% effort & it’s motivating/inspiring.
I would recommend this for people like myself who need accountability & support in reaching weight loss goals. No one can do the work for you, but The Camp does a great job at setting you up for success.

I just completed an incredible 6-week bootcamp challenge and couldn’t be more grateful for the experience! The defined meal plan made healthy eating simple and sustainable, while the workouts were challenging, energizing, and perfectly structured to push me each day. Coach Karina was absolutely phenomenal—supportive, motivating, and always there to keep us accountable. Super huge thank you to Dulce at the front desk, she is such gem 💎 and was my first point of contact when I came in. She is so warm and professional, also very knowledgeable. I was a little intimidated coming in but she gave me a tour and showed me everything the Camp has to offer.This gym is huge. I am new to working out and really would like to build my confidence, self esteem and overall health. I had my first class and it was amazing. Both my husband and I have been coming for over a year now and this place has become our therapy physically and mentally. I have RA and the coaches all have helped me get stronger and more confident with what I am capable of and help me modify when I am going through a flare up. I absolutely love all the workouts each coach has their own style, and they are all amazing. The one coach who always motivate us to truly test ourselves and aim higher is Larry. His energy is infectious and attitude to help us achieve what we once thought we couldn't is just so appreciated. Thank you Dom for helping me through all my struggles when I fractured my hand, you made it possible for me to continue to stay active while I healed.

Being new to the San Diego area, the Camp Transformation has been my happy place. From the start, the staff and trainers are so welcoming.
I love their workouts. It’s never the same and will get you the results you want. I regained my strength fairly quickly. The music will keep you going for that extra push.
Not only do I feel good coming here, but I’ve met the greatest group of friend, anyone could ever ask for.
If I could give them more stars, I would!!

The Camp West Chula Vista is an amazing gym and is for all ages! I love that they are able to modify the exercises and that it is Boot Camp style. As a college student, I love going to this gym as it keeps me fit and healthy during those school breaks. I love that all of the coaches and members make me feel comfortable and welcomed. It is a great environment, and it supports me in reaching my full potential! Couldn’t have chosen a better place to work out! Highly recommend for those who want to improve their Physical and mental health, as The Camp does a good job in motivating me to become a better version of self.

I cannot say enough great things about Coach Larry at The Camp Transformation Center in Chula Vista! His lower-body class was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we started, his energy, enthusiasm, and clear expertise created an atmosphere that was both motivating and empowering.

The best gym/camps/bootcamps i have been too. been here two years and its a tough workout but you are actually working with trainers who aim to inspire you to not only finish your workout but get better fit and create lifetime goals in doing so. Karina is incredibly inspiring and does so while making it fun. She is a Treasure. Other trainers are invested in you as well such as Maddie and Frannie. You will leave their classes sore. Dom the owner is suoer down to earth and will push you as well Not only are the trainers and staff fun but the culture here is incredible. It becomes fam as you struggle and succeed.

I love this gym. All the coaches are very friendly, Karina, Francesca, Maddy, Larry, and Dom are all awesome people. I really love the music, music makes the workout better. I recommend this gym because here the coaches tell you exactly what to do and you are not lost like if you were starting at a regular gym. Everyone always has a great attitude from the coaches to the people training.

I'm kind of bummed out. I went to work out, and the person booked me for a tour? I'm a college student and work full-time. I don't have time for games. I am giving you guys one last chance. If I come in and I am booked for a tour instead of a workout again. You'll lose a customer. A person's time should not be played with.

If you want real results, The Camp in Chula Vista is the place to be! My husband and I started with their 21 day challenge to get a feel for this gym and will definitely become members. Every work out is different, so we are never bored. The instructors are challenging (which is the whole point) yet motivate you every step of the way. I personally continued to postpone working out because I did not know where to start or 'how to work out'. But don't worry, you will receive help! Shout out to Dom, Karina, Larry, and Madison for teaching us how to properly and safely exercise. We have never felt intimidated or out of place. So put your hesitation aside and go kick some butt at The Camp in Chula Vista!

I started this with a little bit of skepticism, but I can say now that I feel stronger now thanks to Larry, Fran, Maddie and Karina ( these are the coaches I’ve known as of now) they push you to the limit of what you can do and at the same time taking care of you with form and execution.
The front desk staff treats you like family. All in all great place to work out, little by little making me at least a better JiuJitsu athlete.

I have been a part of the gym community almost my entire life. I have been to multiple gyms that exhibited nothing but toxic gym culture & eating habits. Coming into the camp, I had low expectations given my bad experiences but this place went above and beyond everything I could ever imagine. Everyone is welcoming and so friendly and truly want you to succeed. Taking Francesca’s class this morning was amazing, she upholds such a high level of energy and atmosphere that’s contagious & eventually will rub off. I have been at the camp for going to 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a second home with trainers who truly care for you as an individual and not a money sign, this is your answer. <3

I have been going to the camp for the last 7 years, and love it. Trainers are awesome, staff is very welcoming, and the workouts are amazing! 45 mins of sweat, muscle building while losing fat, and having fun! Honestly I was considering to go to this gym and got a complimentary trial online. I showed up 20 minutes before the 5pm workout and the receptionist was attending another person. The reception questioned if I was going to pay and I had told her that I had a free trial and she mentioned that it would cost until I mentioned it was complimentary for only 1 workout. Overall I did not felt welcomed and left because I felt the trainer was going extremely fast on the warm up. Over all not a great experience.

I started at The Camp over a year ago, and I still love it! The problem with me has always been not knowing what to do when I get to the gym. Not knowing what to do isn't a thing at the camp! Every class is different and the trainers explain everything before you start. So I always know what to do and I never get bored. Everyone is fantastic no matter which class you attend. Highly recommend!!

This is the best gym in town. It’s not just a gym, you become family. The trainers are so knowledgeable and work with you every step and helping getting you stronger. Six weeks ago I was at my heaviest. I felt uncomfortable, bloated, tired and most of the time I felt unhappy with my appearance. Then one day my sister encouraged me to join the 6 weeks 20lbs challenge. But, I was hesitant because I thought I wasn’t capable of completing such a challenge as this. But I signed up anyways and took a chance, and BOY I’m glad I did!
My sister and I took this challenge very seriously by following the meal plans and we worked out 5x a week. I’m happy to say that, my sister and I are now down 20 plus pounds. I couldn’t be more happier and proud of us both for pushing through. I must say, before the challenge started there were some miscommunications going on from the staff members. However, they quickly solved the problem and I felt satisfied again.
The classes were hard but very doable and good for my body. The trainers stayed on top of the challengers at all times which pushed us to improve in the classes!! The people I encountered with were very supportive and positive. I also loved the cleanliness of the environment as well. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I also loved at the end of the workouts the people in my group would high five each other and say, “Good job!!!” I just loved it!!
I now feel more healthier, happier, and I feel confident in my own skin!! I can go on and on but I’ll leave it at this!!! When you work hard, stay focused and disciplined it surely pays off!!! I absolutely love The Camp!!!

Excellent trainers and work outs, but bad business.
I signed up for a 6 month period, when I was on my last month I busted my shoulder and from previous talks you could only pause your membership for a month, so I decided to bite the bullet and just let my membership expire since it was the last month. Well what do you know they bill me for a 7th month when I had only agreed to 6, and I had already missed most of the 6th month due to injury.
I called them and they don't offer refunds, now I am disputing the charges with my bank. Beware of this company, something that is affecting me right now is that they don't provide a copy of the contract you sign, they don't even let you take the contract out of the office. Worst part is brought them so many referrals, and that's how they repay me.
Beware of false positive reviews, competitors of the challenge are forced to review and check in as part of the challenge they offer in order to successfully complete it, don't believe me? Go inquire.

Hello everyone! I am not so fond of leaving review but this I must do. I would like to share my experience at The Camp. Entering final week of the Challenge there is a roller coaster of mixed emotions. I have to say that for being a person who never did exercise I have grown into loving it very much. The Camp is not only a weight transformation center. It is a life changing experience emotionally and physically. You get the best of it with the team. What can I say? They are fully on supportive all the way at all times. Meaning if you have any questions or struggles big or small they are always there. Not only the director and trainers but your fellow challengers as well. My first week was tremendous y went close to 6 lbs down. That was something I never thought I can do but following the FTDI and drinking my water and my teams support I was able to do it. There was a bit of bumps in the road for me, loosing a loved one is not always easy but I have to say that I stuck through it. Not having a babysitter all the time did not stop me either if I was not able to make it I would most definitely keep working out from home. Now here I am finishing my last week. I am very thankful that I came across The Camps add. I would not have had the chance to make this life change if it was not for The Camp. I most definitely recommend The Camp!!! You won’t find another place like this. Where anyone and everyone can do the challenge you are not alone! Can’t Stop Won’t Stop… Wooo-Hooo!!!
