This gym has truly been a life changing experience! This started a few years ago around 2021 or 2022. I wanted to find something where my husband and I could exercise and that we would both like. We had tried kickboxing and bought all the equipment but ended only going a few times. We had tried the regular gym but never really workedout since we really did not know how to exercise. And it’s was hard to be consistent. We would always ended up quitting. I wanted to try out yoga but the first class it was just laugh after laugh since we could not do the posses. He told me he did not like yoga and we ended up not going back. It was not until we moved to Chula Vista that I started looking again for something and suddenly I started seeing posts in instagram and facebook of the camp. I made an appointment for my husband and I and we joined. It was not only the amazing coaches and the owner it just felt like normal people, like us, could exercise with no judgment. I believe we joined the trial of three weeks and we saw the changes right away. After that we joined the challenge and it completely changed everything! Our bodies changed, we were eating healthy, and our bodies transformed. We stopped going after I got pregnant but always had the gym in mind. After the baby was born it took me a while to get back but we are here again. This time I lost those pounds that I wanted to loose and got back to eating healthy again.I love this gym!

The Camp has truly changed my life! Big thanks to all the coaches, office staff, fit family, and Matt the owner for creating such an amazing environment. I’ve been coming for three years on and off, and they’ve supported me through every season, even during our pregnancy. Now our two-year-old sees exercise as fun, which is incredible since I didn’t grow up working out.
Because of The Camp, I’m stronger, healthier, and more confident. I’m finishing a challenge and have lost 30 pounds, but I’ve gained so much more muscle, energy, and a love for fitness. This place feels like family and always lifts me up after a long day.

It was during height of Pandemic when I first stepped into this ground. At first, I hesitated but I knew I needed lifestyle change. I have heard great things from my cousin and friends before to try out The Camp. I was always afraid of being judged because I have experienced that firsthand at a different gym. It started when I was laying down on a hospital bed because I was having stroke-like symptoms. Told myself that if I get out of the hospital, I will take the step to call and make an appointment. I called and they responded fast. Made an appointment to see the director few days later. When I stepped in, I felt the eagerness of the staff to share their knowledge and to help me with my goals. They were conducting class at the time as well and I felt the welcoming warmth of the people. After they explained the mechanics of the challenge, I became more motivated and inspired to go for it. First class was hard, became harder but with the proper support of the staff, coaches, fit family, and owners, I was able to get through it. Next thing you know I was doing challenges after challenges until I met my goal. The camp Eastlake/Chula Vista truly imbedded the importance of nutrition and fitness, realizing that the reason why I haven’t been able to reach my goals from other gyms is, I was working out but there were no nutritional seminar to educate me. It also helps that the fit family are welcoming and makes the work out very fun. I can honestly say that I have found not just the joy of going to the gym at The Camp Eastlake/Chula Vista but also a family who are very much supportive. Thank you, TC Chula Vista!

I been coming to The Camp for about a year. I got injured at work and fell off for a while. I have been consistently going for about 4 months now and I have cut a lot of weight while packing on new muscle. I like how you can go at your own pace while going through the stations. You can take it easy or go full beast mode. Everyone is focused on their workout and it’s definitely a judge free zone. If you’re questioning if you can do it…. You Can!! It’s awesome seeing what your body can do.

I’ve been a part of Transformation Camp since December 2022 and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. After being skeptical of these group workout gyms and finally did a trial, I realized why many preferred it over traditional gyms such as 24 hour and Planet Fitness etc. The stress and the guesswork of planning your own workouts is eliminated. All you need to do is just show up. 45 minutes later you are covered in sweat. The staff are great and they encourage a positive attitude that rubs off onto all of us clients. I never feel forced to do anything I am not comfortable doing because of certain limitations from injuries I’ve had in my past. The trainers offer modifiers to compensate for any injuries you may have that might limit the exercises they planned for the day. All you have to do is ask. I recommend this place to anyone, male or female, young and old, in-shape and outta-shape. It’s an excellent investment for your health.

I've been coming here for almost 7 years now. I started with the 20lb challenge by following their meal program and exercise classes. I loved it so much that after my challenge I signed up to be a member. And have been ever since. The classes give me direction and thats what I needed. I was a member at a regular gym for years and all I did was get lazy. There was no drive or challenge. I didn't push myself. Now here at the camp I've got direction, drive, and challenge. The trainers are awesome. They show you correct form and they challenge you without screaming in your face. It becomes your family. When I'm not here I really feel like I'm missing out. Its a great place, friendly people, and an awesome/appreciative staff.

This review is way overdue! Last November, I made the decision to join The Camp. Matt and Juan were amazing. Abby was very helpful. Going through pre-menopause, I lost a lot of muscle, struggled with chronic hip issues and weight gain of 30 pounds. Once I started my HRT, I knew I had to change my game plan. I joined the 21 day holiday hustle with a few of my closest friends. It has been a party when we meet at the Camp. I lost 9 lbs the first 3 weeks. I have continued to get stronger and lose a total of 15 lbs. I am back to my happy place. I have been asked why I do this. I do this because I can and I’m worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a HIT training class with Ale Carrera at the Camp Transformation Center, I was so happy to see her back teaching! I can’t recommend her highly enough cause her knowledge and sense of detail in training, she takes the time to show the members during class how’s done if we are doing it wrong, that to me counts a lot! I rather do one correct exercise than a few wrong ones, when someone is into detail that’s a great manner to teach techniques.

Make sure you read your contract before you sign don’t let them “summarize” anything for you. They told me that if I wanted to cancel I would have to do it 2 weeks in advance and it turns out that in your contract it’s actually 30 days. So I’m getting charged for the following month as well. I even have messages where they said yes to the 2 weeks for cancellation and then changed it to a month. Then the director reached out to me and told me they were gonna “waive” the cancellation fee like they were doing some huge favor but that they would still charge me the monthly membership fee. When he spoke to me he also made it sound like I was lying like I didn’t have the messages to prove it. Wont be coming back. But I will say this, Matt the trainer is the goat 🙌🏽 he should get a raise. That’s the only reason why I’m giving yall a star.

Experience was not good at all. Not only they were not clear about what they do, what they are and what they offer but you have to be biased to not only have to starve yourself but get into a very shady contract in which if you don't meet tough requirements you loose your money which is $795 plus you have to make that payment right as you leave the informative session and buy their food and protein products. In order to also get your money back 100% you MUST to post good things about them with 5 star reviews on yelp and Facebook. Not only they extort money from you, but they wind up getting free biased advertising from people that have low self esteem already. This gym is s joke!!!

I was always looking for a gym but I know when I went there I never really knew what to do this gym has my workout already set up for me so when I go in I'm not just pretending like I'm working out or watching everybody else work out I'm doing an intense workout the whole time I'm there. The coaches are awesome the classes are fun and i am seeing great results. In losing weight getting stronger gaining endurance. I Love this Gym and recommend it for everyone.
