I don’t think there is anything I could truly say that would do this review justice, but let me start by saying the community is top notch. You feel like family immediately (with Carmen’s warm beautiful welcome!) and supported at every level on your journey. As a young survivor of a stroke, I have been able to continue my journey to not only rebuild muscle strength, but be stronger than I was before. The friendships I have made are such a blessing… the coaches that I have worked with (David, Juan, and Crystal) are legit and care!! …honestly all of them are…real talk… I wouldn’t trade my 5 am sessions for much else.

I also had the privilege to do one of the 6-week challenges and O MY Word… the encouragement kept me disciplined and the results are stilling coming. The owners were completely involved in the challenge from start to finish which is a first for me … in a great way!

Wherever you are in your journey, I encourage you to try this gym and community. It’s doesn’t disappoint and honestly we could all use a little more investment into our health and a little more joy in our lives ❤️❤️

The Camp is amazing! We got uncomfortable, did a challenge and changed our lives! It’s not easy but it’s worth it. Every day is a new workout focusing on a target set of muscle groups. The classes are anybody friendly, from experienced to newbies- the vibe is welcoming and we enjoy working out with everyone. The staff and support team are the best and always greet us and help us when we have questions. Tanya, Shea, Carmen, David, just to name a few.. are some of the most delightful people to meet and interact with. This is the Best TC Transformation Center in SoCal! Highly Recommended!! Give it a shot!!

Stress kept me away from the gym, and the weight crept up. I was embarrassed to go back, afraid of how out of shape I’d become. But when I reached out to Tanya, her positivity and encouragement changed everything.she made it clear-there was no judgement, just support and a fresh start.

I'll start off by saying I've never been a consistent gym goer prior to finding The Camp. I've tried everything from CrossFit, and open gyms and could never get myself to continue going because the environments never felt right. I am shy and struggled a lot with knowing what workouts my body needed, or really just knowing WHAT to do... I randomly came across an ad for The Camp on Facebook about the 6 week challenge and thought, why not give it a try! We had just moved here and I was hoping to find a place I would enjoy. Well, I AM SO GLAD I REACHED OUT!

From day one my experience here has been nothing short of amazing. The entire staff is beyond friendly and they truly go above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and seen. Carmen, the front desk clerk, is always so happy and full of life. Tanya and Shea are extremely nice and very motivating! The trainers Terrance, Elle, Crystal, David and Juan are knowledgeable and always willing to help out throughout the workouts. And a plus for it all is that they always play good music - which can totally make or break a workout for me haha.

All in all, The Camp SD has been a total game changer for me, and has genuinely made me love hitting the gym every chance I get! I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone looking for a place to hit your fitness goals all while having fun and making friendships! :)

I only have awesome things to say about this gym. If you're thinking about checking it out, just do it! I randomly dropped in one day to check it almost two years ago and been showing up ever since. Workouts are for everyone no matter what fitness level from total beginner to extremely fit. All are welcome here. Everyone is friendly, from trainers and staff to members, and there was never any pressure to join.

I absolutely love this gym. I have been a member for a few years now. Tanya and Shea the are great and have always been supportive in any situation with my membership and their work out classes are no joke! David is great and really takes time to help make sure your form is correct and keeps it safe so I don’t injure myself. Crystal is wonderful as well and one day I would love to do her Elite class, and Juan is great too assisting me with any modifications I need. I love that this gym starts at 5am and has a 7pm class too so I can go according to my work schedule. I enjoy that there is not a sea of people trying to get to equipment. This gym has really changed my life. I have done several challenges and had alot of success with all their support. Carmen is awesome and encourages me. This gym really has become my fit family. I love seeing my gym buddies. I am so grateful I found this gym and even better it’s good for me and I am blown away at how much I love the work outs!

I recently went back to Camp SD after a five year hiatus. Returning to this gym felt like I never left! On my first day back, I recognized a few faces and immediately met some new friends that welcomed me with smiles and encouragement! The members, trainers and staff at this gym are a family and I highly recommend this gym to anyone that is looking to get stronger and have more energy! In the four months since I returned, I’ve gained muscle and lost inches off my belly and hips. Also, the first time in many years, I have felt like taking up running again because my body is stronger and I’m able to increase my fitness goals.

I would give 10 stars if I could!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked through The Camp doors one year ago but I can say for sure that this place has changed my life for the better. The Camp is so welcoming and it doesn’t matter what fitness level you’re at.

I remember my first phone call with Carmen and she was so compassionate and truly cared about me and at that moment I immediately knew like this was the right place for me. I’ve made so many new friends who inspire me to be better everyday. I’m so grateful to part of this community!

There are not enough words to describe how important my Camp 🥊 family is to my wellness, health, and necessary life experience. I’ve been a member since 2019 and will continue to be a member as long as possible!
The staff are consistently amazing, the trainers are knowledgeable and so supportive wherever you are in your journey.
The group classes become part of your life. As someone who never felt like the gym was for me, nor very self physically driven I would doubt my ability more than I needed to. Now I show up do what the trainers have set up for us to do, even if I feel a little bit of doubt in my ability. I always leave feeling stronger than when I got there and in awe of what my body is able to do. “Damn I did that!!”

The Camp San Diego is the one stop shop for fitness training, clean supplements, nutritional guidance and education. Everyone is known by name by the entire staff and owners. It is a very well run and organized gym. The facilities are always clean. You never see any “gym drama” at this place. Just tons of sweat and smiles. Truly an awesome group to be trained by.

Pros: classes are 45 mins long, trainers set up challenging workouts, front desk people are always nice and patient, great music is played most of the time, And evening classes offered up to 7pm. The only gym I’ve had results feeling strong going 5-6 days a week in 9 months!
Con: I’m not a morning person, 8am is the last class of the weekday morning. But I make it to the 9am Saturday class.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE!!
Long story. Single mom, three kids and my child has an opportunity to travel to Italy. I need to cut down on expenses for a while reached out to cancel, they said they could suspend my account on the first of the month, I said I need to cancel it. They still charged me for the next month anyway. They stopped responding to emails. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. Super shady place. I heard complaints before, truly disappointed they were true. Facility is sub-par. You can definitely YouTube what they do and save $

I did one session at this camp because my girlfriend was taking the 20lbs/6weeks challenge.
She failed but really enjoyed the gym.

Decided to try the camp because two of my good friends were successful with the challenge. I chose to do the hard body challenge. I was a college athlete and went to the gym frequently for the past 20 years or so however I was never truly satisfied with the results.I decided it was time to challenge myself and get into better shape. Even though I have been a part of many different workout programs the HIIT program has always been a little intimidating.
From day one I absolutely love the gym and the people there. There are many different people with many different stories and all have one goal in common!! We all want to get into better shape and commit to change!! I was able to complete the challenge and lost 5.8% BF but more importantly I gained confidence and the knowledge to continue this journey in my own.
I have every intention on continuing this journey!!!
I closing I just want to tell everyone, if you are thinking about it...... DO IT!! You will not regret your decision, this camp has changed so many peoples live and will continue to do so!!! Also, besides the people that are there, the staff is amazing!! They are all great, helpful and very knowledgeable. I just want to say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!

The Camp Transformation Center is truly a place of transformations! I did the alumni challenge and successfully lost my goal weight of 15 pounds in 5 weeks! Who knew losing weight is as simple as eating clean and working out! Sounds simple, but this process is DIFFICULT without a supporting and caring group of people, such as the one i found at the camp with my AFF (awesome fit family). This is not a place of judgement, just come as you are! The workouts here pushed me to my limits and as a result, made me a stronger person. Now that I am done with the challenge, I am more than excited to become a member and continue with my fitness journey!!!

Where do I began!? I absolutely admire this place! I had so much faith in the first Facebook Ad I saw from the Camp, and I went ahead and went in & was convinced this was gonna be my step to a fitter me! I just completed my first Challenge. I melted 26 lbs in 6wks! I have always been on a diet or taking a so called miracle pill, but never have I done good old fashion diet and exercise. This program works and if you can find the time to make excuses you have time to meal prep and exercise. I work two jobs and I volunteer the rest of my time to the American Legion, so I am just as busy as the next person.
I joined the day of orientation and I told my husband who was with me that he would have to cook for himself. He looked at me like I was crazy, but then he said whatever makes you happy. I met Jane Cambuco at our initial weigh in and we instantly bonded. We decided to work out together 6 days a week at 6am. I was not a morning person at all. I am now and I have so much energy.
The support from Shea TC Coleman, Diamond, David, Brad, Wilson, and Porter is what kept me coming back for more they are all very knowledgeable and very motivating. On our first day we met two amazing ladies Heather and Sarah who were veterans to the workouts and they took Jane and me under their wing. We are forever grateful to them. The workouts are so fun and the trainers are amazing!
It is hard work, you have to be ready everyday locked and loaded with your meals and snacks and water. I carry a bag with all my food and condiments and my food scale and I take them everywhere with me. If you want to change you have to want it bad enough. The deposit is the icing on the cake. If you want it back you got to work for it plain and simple. I can honestly say that the camp sets us up to succeed from day one. You will not be disappointed this is a full proof program and a new way of living. I feel great all the time and I look at myself in the mirror everyday and I am very happy with my results!

Great experience in my first 20 pounds weight loss challenge! I lost 27 pounds. The personnel at the camp in Kearny Mesa is always nice and welcoming, the instructors are prompt, professional and very encouraging, especially David.
