I’m a member at the Modesto location and I was in San Jose for work. The crew at the Santa Clara location welcomed me to work out there for 3 days. The atmosphere was awesome, the training was awesome and most importantly the trainers were awesome! Gym was clean and organized. Thanks team Santa Clara!

The classes are fantastic—engaging, high-energy, and led by motivating instructors that all deserve five stars. But the club’s billing practices have left me no choice but to assign 1 star. My credit card was charged after the 21-day program I explicitly said I wouldn’t renew. I overlooked the first surprise charge as an honest mistake, only to see the monthly fee reappear a few months later and then continue since. Repeated emails, even after text confirmations they were received, went unanswered. I now have to dispute the charges through my credit-card company which will be more time and inconvenience on my part. Great workouts, disappointing administration.

The camp has literally changed my life! I am 55 and the weight was starting to accumulate around my waist making me feel bad both physically and mentally. The routines are great you can adjust them, challenge yourself. All coaches are fantastic! The only complaint I have is: The camp is addictive! I wish I had more time to attend more classes! Great place to get a solid workout in and build a healthy routine. The coaches will motivate you but not be pushy when you say you’re at your limit and the staff is very helpful. The cost is very affordable as well for a group fitness class. You can also drop in for a free class and try it out. I suggest a Wednesday or Saturday as those are full body days. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I love working out here! The coaches and front desk staff are awesome and so friendly. The music always hypes me up giving me energy and making it a fun workout ! The coaches keep an eye on everyone to make sure they’re doing the moves with proper form AND for those that have been coming for a while, they know when to motivate us and push us to lift heavier. I often doubt myself, but when they suggest more weight, I then realize that I am strong, and I CAN do it! I always look forward to coming to class!

Great place to kickstart your fitness journey! I used to workout on my own at other gyms but never saw any results. Since I joined The Camp in October 2023, it has been nothing but amazing! The staff, coaches, and other members have all been friendly, supportive, and most importantly motivating! I always look forward to challenging and pushing myself during class. I’ve been going to the CAMP for about a year and a half now. I’ve only done the first challenge though still make it almost every day. The people, the coaches, the workouts are all amazing. Most mornings it’s still hard to get out of bed and I always tell myself that I’ll be happy, proud, and feel good afterwards. And I’m always right!
I love THE CAMP! When I signed up for the Hard Body Challenge 6 weeks ago, I had no idea what to expect. First, there’s nothing easy about the hard body challenge – it takes commitment. The first week was a shock to the ole’ system. Showing up at the 5am class almost every day that week really changed my sleep cycle. I was so sore from the first leg day, I could barely get out of a chair and then doing the weight homework afterward must’ve been funny to watch me hobble around with barbells. That week, I was surprised that had trouble eating all the food on the schedule. And then not eating the leftover cookies or the crust of my kids’ pizza almost broke me. The staff and the coaches are so awesome…they made the classes a BLAST, they encouraged us and reminded us to keep on it. Then by the second week, I started to notice that I’d fatigue, but not it wasn’t near as sore. I could lift more. The squats and burpees and pushups got easier. I figured out a pattern to my food and started getting creative within the diet. By midway though the challenge, I was more than ½ way to my goal…on top of that, I looked forward to my 5am class and all the awesome regulars (aside: there’s a special type of person that rolls out of bed at 4:30am every morning to become a truly sweaty mess). I loved going later in the day to lift and managing heavier weights. I added a Saturday workout too. Then hit two classes in a day. Tomorrow is my official weigh-in and I’m pretty sure I’ll have met my goal. Regardless, I feel great and am proud of how the weight I’ve lost, the muscle I’ve gained, and the healthier choices I’ve made. I’m planning to keep it up (with a few pizza crusts added in) because though my challenge is ending, the transformation is just beginning. So you should make a commitment and I’ll see you at 5am!

The Camp has helped me to completely change my lifestyle. It’s the first gym that I’ve been able to incorporate into my routine consistently. I joined about a year ago with very little experience on proper form for weight lifting. The coaches are extremely supportive, very helpful, and encouraging. They meet you where you are, at any level, and help you improve. The workouts are challenging, but there’s tons of variety, and the time goes by pretty quickly. There are modifications for everything so you can make it easier or harder depending on your level. You sweat a lot (nice amount of cardio mixed in) and you leave feeling SO good. Tons of great members with good energy, where everyone feels comfortable. I just completed my first 6 week challenge and I highly recommend it - you learn so much more and become aware of how to develop healthy eating habits that you can incorporate into your daily routine, even beyond the challenge! The combination of the two really works. The progress I made by doing the challenge was night and day, compared to just the workouts. Try it out! The results speak for themselves and you won’t regret it!

What can I say except that I love this place! I tried a similar gym but found it boring and repetitive. I found The Camp - Santa Clara in November of 2022 and now they are stuck with me. The workouts are tough, fun and always changing so it never gets boring. The coaches and staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. I look forward to working out now instead of dreading it.

I first started coming to the camp in November, December 22 as my partner was completing her 6 weeks hard body challenge. It's a great fun, collaborative workout environment for positivity of helping everyone get better together. She excelled in her first challenge, and decided to sign up for a second one at the start of 2023 and I decided to join her. Making great progress so far on my way to 5% or more body fat reduction which will have me somewhere between 7% and 8%.
I look forward to being able to say that I'm in the best shape of my life as I turn 50 this year.

I never thought I'd be a gym person, I started coming in late January of this year and have been coming regularly ever since. Everyone here is so friendly and motivating! I just completed the 42 day challenge and lost 29.6lbs. Just about every time I went in the front desk staff would checked in on me, seeing how I was doing and if I had any questions. The coaches are amazing! They go around and help correct form and push you to keep going!

Getting back in the gym has never been easier! I haven’t worked out in years and going to a traditional gym just isn’t for me. The Camp on the other hand has welcomed my fiancé and I in with open arms. The entire staff is friendly and takes pride in knowing their members by name which is uncommon in my past experiences. The Coaches work with the members form and push us to be better every day, which is unlike most other boot camp style classes like Barry’s where they are more transactional and not intentional. I had a great experience at The Camp. Great staff & wonderful coaches. Everybody is super supportive. I signed up for the 6 week 20lb challenge. I am a vegetarian and have knee issues and wasn't confident that I would be able to lose much weight. But the coaches were able to modify the workouts to make it challenging for me. I lost 23 lbs on this challenge. I also had blood work done towards the end of the camp and noticed significant improvements in my HDL/LDL & Triglycerides.

I’ve been active all my life, from high school on. i’ve trained hard and fell off. Lifted weights for the past 7 years and built a lot of muscle along with fat. I hated cardio So I tried to play basketball but even that if I can get a pick up game it takes forever in some places. This gets straight to the point with cardio and muscle building. The Camp in Santa Clara is my new HOME! The workouts are phenomenal. Everyday is different, so you never get bored and you keep challenging different muscles. The best bart is the staff, coaches and members. Everyone has been so positive, supportive, funny and encouraging. We laugh, we lift, we burn calories and sometimes cry (on the inside, lol).
I moved to The Bay 3 1/2 years ago and I've been looking for a place to restart my workout and wellness journey and I thank God I finally found it here at The Camp Santa Clara. I've been wanting to learn crossfit. I was actually going to join a crossfit gym before I found The Camp. I don't have to anymore because they incorporate a lot of stations that are like intro or regular crossfit moves.
Lastly, for my females. If you were an athlete for most of your life and let life get in the way, like I did, and you're ready to get back in shape, come to The Camp! Being in this environment lets you connect back to that athletic and competitive mindset so you can get back to your best self. There are so many females that lift and lift heavy! It's great to see (shout out to Coach Arden). I can't wait to get there. If you're a female who is afraid of weights, come and the coaches and members will change your mind. Come and build strong and healthy body.

I have tried basic gym memberships in the past, and have always gotten off track/bored with the monotonous grind. Started with the camp Santa Clara as a 6 week 20lb challenger. the coaches and patrons are all very supportive and will help push you to your goals. The Camp offers meal plans, high intensity interval training, and weight training classes - and with determination and consistency you will get to your goal and make some great friends with the same goal along the way. The music is great - and the trainings were challenging but the coaches are always there to help and make sure you are doing all the correct movements to avoid injury. I took the 6 week challenge - to lose 20 pound - I lost 20.8 lbs and gained a whole lot more - I am Stronger. I am moving onto the next challenge- 6 Week Hardbody Challenge. Wish me LUCK!

I did the 6 weeks challenge and I have no words to describe how happy I am. Instead of choosing the 20lb competition I chose the Hard Body challenge, it means that I had to loose 5% of body fat in 6 weeks. I started with 17.2% of body fat, and at the end of the 6th week I had 9.6% . I eliminated more than 7% of body fat in 6 weeks of exercising and eating healthy. The classes were just great and the staff there are so friendly. I’m really happy with my results and my quality of life now.

Starting at The Camp Santa Clara was the BEST decision I made for myself!
I decided it was time to make a change, so I decided to invest in myself and join the 6-week 20LB weight loss challenge.
The workouts are challenging, but who doesn’t like a good challenge?!
Meal prep and following the meal plan was manageable, it was the will-power and overall discipline that kept my head in the game.
The staff is AWESOME! Thank you to the Director, Lorena, for motivating me to stay focused and push through. Oscar is always a friendly face at the front desk and willing to help out. The amazing Coaches- Arden, Christine, Eman, Kristie, Khanh ~ THANK YOU!!
Highly recommended for those that need a Kickstart to their health and body goals!

This camp is AWESOME.
Aside from the workouts being killer - High Intensity Interval Training style workouts that are effective for building muscle and burning body fat - the staff are what make this place special. Arden, Kahn, Lorena, Rosa, Oscar, and Alan are all such terrific motivators and really do try and forge bonds with their patrons. The clear investment that the staff make in their clientele makes such a huge difference to somebody pursuing their fitness goals (can confirm personally).
The workouts themselves entail different exercises every day with each trainer having their own specific style. Classes are offered in the early am and after work pm hours to accommodate varying schedules. Your trainer will yell at you and motivate you to work hard, but ultimately it’s up to you to decide how much weight to lift, cardio to do or how much you exert yourself in general, making The Camp a great venue for any type of exerciser.
Alongside all this, they even offer nutritional guidance and different challenges to facilitate setting exercise goals for yourself!

I love the culture, in this gym the coaches are very nice and supportive. I was never able to achieve my weight loss goals until now. I am very happy with the results I am getting. Highly recommend it.
