I’ve done mostly yoga classes but started cycling classes as well. I am postpartum so Coco assisted me with finding the right type of class for me, and she provides a safe environment where all levels can practice! Highly recommend.

I love The Cycling Pigeon!! The instructors are all very kind, the classes are challenging, but you can still take things at your own pace, and I especially love the outdoor setting and headphones they give you to really get in the zone. I never really enjoyed spin classes until taking one here, and now I take class every week. Highly, highly recommend!!

The CP team is prime time excellence!
Big fan of the vibe, the cleanliness of the facilities, the quality of the gear, the fantastic playlists, and above all the bangarang teachers and their heart pumping workouts. #Yayer!

I decided to go out of my comfort zone and take a workout class. After my very first class I was hooked! The community of people are so friendly and welcoming; and everyone I’ve met who works here has been so inviting.
The class I take can be moderately challenging but is really accessible for a beginner. The ability to modify (judgement free) keeps the workout engaging and adaptive.
I cannot recommend this place enough!!

I've been having a lot of fun cycling since I've joined. It's what I've been needing to get my day started. The energy boost I get from my Wednesday morning class makes the peak of the week even better. I also love the exhilaration of the class to end it feeling relaxed and accomplished. Highly recommend The Cycling Pigeon!

This place is fantastic. Great teachers. Outdoor cycling in fresh air shaded and with greenery on the walls. Just a perfect experience. And easy app to schedule classes. I’m so glad I came here. Coco is brilliant. And I enjoyed Alejandra’s class as well. Just a kind hard working place with candles and a great vibe

Coco is so welcoming and has amazing energy. After long days of work, putting on the headphones and hearing Coco's smooth voice to a fierce playlist is very therapeutic. Whether you're a beginner or an advance cyclist, I recommend her classes.

I can't believe it took me so long to come to this! I took the cycling+ yoga class and it blew my mind. The space is chill and on a breezy night with a good sunset it's down right magical. The cycling class was approachable with great music. And then the yoga class was perfect after cycling. I mean come on, a low key yoga cool down after cycling. The only thing I'd do differently is spray myself with a little bug spray next time. But I get bit anywhere I go. I can't wait to come back

The Cycling Pigeon is the best! I was looking for a more regular workout routine and stumbled upon the Cycling Pigeon. I’m not going to lie, I was nervous because exercise has never really been my thing, but Coco and her team were super welcoming and non-judgmental. Spinning outside is a wonderfully unique experience — you get to breathe in the fresh air, soak up some (shaded) sunshine, get plenty of room to yourself (other spin studios are so cramped!) and the silent disco-style headphones make it to where you can really get in your own zone. I go to the early morning class and always feel more accomplished throughout the day. The app also makes it super easy to book a class. Love supporting this small business in Eagle Rock. Definitely recommend!

If I could give a huge fat ZERO I would.
I signed up for a special and when it came time to renew I decided to drop out because I preferred going to the gym. The owner had a huge attitude problem with me wanting to cancel and refused to credit me. She argued with me back and forth over this. You should respect your client and customers!
This is the number one rule in customer service, especially when it comes to the owner of the business.
Go Coco!
Reply to your reply: if your name is Coco and you are the owner of this studio on Eagle Rock Blvd. then all the above still applies.

was looking for a spin class near my house in NELA (your girl desperately needs to do more cardio) and Google led me to this gem of a studio. their spin set up is outdoors which is a fun departure from the club like atmosphere of most spin classes. Personally, I loved getting a workout in while watching the sun set around me. Coco, the instructor, plays a ton of bangers and gives you a clean pair of over-the-ear headphones so you can still vibe out to the music. You can also clip into the bikes OR wear your normal shoes, which I appreciated. You can also do the workout from home if you have a spin set up and can't make it to Eagle Rock. excited to go back!

Coco and her husband Reno have truly created something extraordinary in Eagle Rock. This place deserves a resounding 5-star review for a number of reasons.
First and foremost, the instructors at Cycling Pigeon are truly inspirational. Their passion for fitness and wellness shines through in every class, motivating and elevating your journey to new heights. Alongside their expertise, they curate amazing musical soundtracks that set the perfect tone and drive your energy levels to the max.
What sets Cycling Pigeon apart is their warm and welcoming community. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt like I was among friends. The sense of belonging and support from fellow members is unparalleled, making each visit a joyous and uplifting experience.
One of the standout features of this studio is the unique open-air outdoor spinning park space. Exercising outside with plenty of space between others adds an extra element of serenity and inspiration to every workout. The fresh air and shaded breeze makes each session invigorating and revitalizing.
Cycling Pigeon is more than just a spin and yoga studio; it is a sanctuary for wellness, personal growth, and connection. With exceptional instructors, incredible musical soundtracks, welcoming community, personalized attention, unique outdoor space, and unwavering support, Cycling Pigeon is an oasis that deserves the highest praise. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone seeking a transformative fitness and wellness experience.

Love Cycling Pigeon! Such good vibes. Outdoor spin classes, with fresh air, shade coverings and really good energy. Most of my classes are with Alejandra - she’s encouraging and motivating in a calm, easy way. GREAT Latin music. I feel more invigorated and energetic by the end of class than than the beginning. I laugh when people say spin class is hard or torturous - that’s only with a bad teacher. The teachers at CP aren’t pushy or over the top - they create a space where you push yourself (just as far as you wanna go.) And they mix things up so the variety keeps you going and it feels like you’re getting a break when you need it while pushing in a different way. Lots of variety so you’re doing push-ups and core work at the same time not just cycling. I’ve had classes with Coco too, who’s also amazing. And one other teacher whose name escapes me, also excellent. Coco’s husband Reno helps out sometimes and is super warm and kind. This is a great neighborhood studio. I am not generally into group classes - if you’re at all curious to try soemthing like, this is the place.

Best way to start a day, or finish one.

I can't remember if I left a review here before. But I'm NOT an exercise person. This is probably the only work out place I've ever looked forward to going to. And the spin class is OUTSIDE, which is pretty amazing. Can't really say enough good things about the vibe here. Great music, great people - it's a real community feel where people say hi and all types, sizes, levels are welcome. Now I'm someone who works out 4 times a week without even thinking about it. Life changer for real.

The Cyling Pigeon is a marvelous neighborhood studio with a brilliant outdoor cycle park option on the schedule.
Henry is a generous and very kind instructor, who has an eclectic and calibrated music taste, with a super consistent approach to the classes he leads. You know what you are going to get and that is highly valuable in a class like those he teaches.
This place is compassionate about every student and their goals, no matter their level. It is not a typical, intimidating fitness destination that expects everyone to have years and years of experience.
It’s clean, it’s friendly, it’s low key.
Great vibe in Eagle Rock!!!

I am so grateful that I found The Cycling Pigeon this past year. Was looking for an outdoor workout/spin studio after covid-- and this location was everything I was looking for and more. The studio itself is a beautiful outdoor space. The owner, Coco, has done a wonderful job creating a functional and lovely outdoor space, a functional and simple app to book classes, and a welcoming environment! I have taken classes from almost every instructor- all of them are great and bring their own spin to the class! Have tried many boutique studios in Los Angeles over the years and this is a special spot all its own and the only studio I take classes at now!

Like everyone says, the classes here have the best vibe and THEE best music. Coco's selections are perfect--fun, funky and, often funny. It doesn't matter what kind of music you like, I guarantee that you'll love what she plays. And you'll love what she says to motivate you. It's always inspiring, cool and affirming. It's so great to be outdoors in the shaded area behind the building. It's a lush, green, flowery oasis hidden off of Eagle Rock Boulevard. Extra bonus attraction: Reno. They're both great people that you want to sweat and hang out with. YAYER!

This place has been a pandemic game changer for me. The owners have managed to create an outdoor environment for students to safely come take classes IN PERSON! The parking lot in back of the studio has been transformed into a workout space that feels more like a park. Everyone wears face shields and gets their temp taken, and there's plenty of space. Good bikes. AND you can also do classes online if you prefer. I mostly do the spin classes but I have enjoyed a few yoga classes too. I'm hooked! Coco is a great teacher, one of my all time favorites. Her music is excellent, class feels like a dance party. Her energy is relaxed but motivating, warm and welcoming. In the relatively short time I've been there she has already made me feel like part of the Cycling Pigeon family. Logistics wise I had some reservations at first about the face shield and the headphones, I thought they might be too awkward but I have actually found them very easy to wear. Headphones are provided and they have face shields for sale for $6. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

I finally tried out the cycling pigeon during the pandemic and honestly cycling outside was the best! Cycling into a new day with a sunrise or after a long one to a sunset. Coco always had the greatest songs to cycle to that made you either want to sing along or push harder to match the beat. I always found Coco's words to be one of the best parts of the class, no matter the day or message she always seemed to say what I needed to hear the most in that moment and it helped me push along not only in the class but throught my days. She along with all the regulars are just a great group of people/environment. It's a definite recommendation!

The Cycling Pigeon has been a godsend especially during the pandemic. Coco, Reno and the entire crew are gifted, caring and loving. Coco and company really care about your well being and health. They make you feel like you're the only client, which helps so much in the journey towards better health and fitness. Coco sends uplifting texts which come right when you need a little pep talk. I was so bummed when the pandemic hit and they had to close down. But they soon found a Covid compliant way to re-open. They converted the parking lot into a lush, inviting oasis. Open air cycling! It couldn't get any better. My wife and I are so grateful for this life affirming boost with the most wonderful champions of health and happiness.

This is an oasis in the city. During the pandemic they transformed their back parking lot into an oasis in the city. If spin were a spa this would be it. With bikes 12 ft apart on individual patches of "grass" and wind sails for shade I always leave class having dissipated all my stress. The soothing ambience is also in part because of the lovely, warm, and supportive instructors. I especially love, Coco, Mando, and Jenn. They challenge the experienced spinner and support and encourage those just starting out. And if you so desire, in addition to spin and yoga, Coco will also engage with you on other getting-in-shape strategies. For pandemic recovery this is the place for your body and your soul as Coco has mindfully created a warm and soothing environment.

This neighborhood spot has great music, great vibes and has transformed me into someone who actually WANTS to come work out. It's the opposite of going to a big gym. It is not intimidating, but it is a hard workout (though you can take whatever pace you want). The classes are filled with people of all levels. It really feels like a community and I can't recommend it highly enough. Right now it is outdoor classes (which are perfect for my covid comfort level) with face shields and headphones. Yayer! The word confused me at first. It’s on the wall and yelled by the spinning community at The Cycling Pigeon -- and I don’t use the word community lightly. In an age where Peloton cashes in on our increasingly isolated world, this place does the opposite. Each spinner is treated like a member of the family. Coco (and her husband Reno) greet regulars and newbies with a smile that lights up the room and share their special blend of positive vibe to all. Everyone enjoys the classes so much, they stick around after to chit chat and seem reluctant to leave.
If that isn’t enough the urban beats are pump’n. Located at the crossroads between Eagle Rock and Glassell Park. Good for beginners curious to give it a try and experienced spinners eager to take it up a notch. After three classes you’ll be hooked. Yayer!!!
