I love, love exercise coach! I've been working out for so many years but never felt like I was making progress. I didn't know how to track. I didn't know how to push myself. At the exercise coach, everything is so systematic. You can see your progress and you can see when you need to scale up to the next level. For just 20 minutes, I'm building more strength than I did in the 60 minute workouts. I love my team here, they're always so kind and supportive, Samer, Erin and David! I've been telling everybody about it! It seems like it's unreal until you start seeing the results! Thank you!

I started with exercise coach in March of 2024; I am at the exercise Coach studio two days a week. I've completely changed my eating from processed and fast foods to 90% clean, regenerative foods.
I am 62 and have been uninvolved in any type of exercise for around the last 8 years.
It took my body about 3 months to get acclimated to the routines.
The beginning of October I started noticing that I had gained enough muscle mass to balance out my calorie intake to where I am now replacing muscle with fat 🎉
All this to say I am A huge fan of the Exercise Coach in Almaden.
Each of the staff is amazing; detailed instruction whenever needed, knowledgeable, kind, friendly and flexible.
I am so excited to see what my 1-year Mark will bring; It's incredible for me at my age to be able to feel like I am able to reverse and build after 8 years or more of nothing 😆

Update 9/22/24: I took a break from EC last fall, thinking I would create a training protocol on my own; nine months later it hadn't happened. I could feel I lost strength. So I decided to return and this time, I invested a little more by joining the program for 1:1 coaching. This allows me to have adapted sessions (due to a tricky rotator cuff) and to schedule at times that suit me better, rather than coordinating around the group schedule. In two months I have regained strength, and my balance has improved as well. This is a great investment for staying functional and healthy as I get older.
Update 10/3/23: After one year I continue to become stronger and am amazed at the transformation of my life. Additionally, over the past year I changed how I ate; the result of exercise and diet caused me to drop 45 lbs. The Exercise Coach is an excellent investment!
2022: When I began mid-August, I was very weak. I felt exhausted most of the time and could not comfortably lift groceries out of the car. Four months later, I was able to pick up and move a 40 lb. box of pet litter from the porch to the garage! This is entirely due to the workouts at The Exercise Coach. One reason it works so well is that it is only 20 minutes. I can do ANYTHING for 20 minutes! And yes, it can be an intense workout; you will feel the improvements, and they also provide you with printouts that show progress. Best of all, the staff are kind and encouraging, especially Fariba, the owner. One of the best investments I've made in my health as I approach 60.

I enjoy very much the work out at the Almaden site. I came in needing to try this method of excersice and I like everything about it; the trainers, equipment, and the availability of time for me to do my workout.
The place is clean and welcoming, the equipment is awesome and something I haven't seen nor experience. I feel a good workout in 20 minutes and the trainers are very knowledgeable, helpful making me feel good and comfortable.

After my doctor suggested I add strength training to my activity schedule, I knew I needed help and guidance. I'm generally active, but haven't worked out in years, and had no idea where to begin. Personal training felt like a good approach.
Enter Exercise Coach -- they offer 1:1 sessions that are just 20 minutes long, twice a week. In each session, you'll get a full body strength workout and a brief but arduous burst of cardio.
Their website offers two free sessions. The first is an intro session to their machines. You'll set your starting point on each machine and then do a set of 8 reps. The second session is a full workout to determine if you like it.
After the free sessions, I decided to purchase a pack of 20 sessions. 20 would give me 10 weeks of workouts -- long enough to determine if I really liked it, would stick with it and if results were possible.
I'm at the end of my 20 sessions now and looking forward to purchasing more. The workouts aren't easy, in fact they get harder each time. The machines keep track of how much you lift and then make it a bit harder on each future session. It's kind of like a game to see if you can keep up with it. The nice this is that you make progress but don't get sore.
I'm starting to feel and see results. I feel stronger. And I'm surprising myself by saying this but I like going. I'm working out regularly for the first time in a long time.
They offer sessions at any time of the day: before work, during lunch break, after 5pm, so it's easy to fit within my busy schedule. The trainers are great: very knowledgable, personable and motivating.
The cost is what you'd expect to pay for a 1:1 session. But, I'm making an investment in me and my health, so for me it's worth it.
If you're like me and looking for a place to start a healthy routine, I highly recommend the team at Exercise Coach.

I have never been comfortable with or able to stick to a traditional gym, only workouts at home. For people like me, I feel like I finally found my fit. This place is next level awesome! I absolutely love the Exercise Coach!! The program is simple, straightforward, and effective, and only takes 20 minutes twice a week. The coaches are kind, informative, and personable. In the 2 months that I've been working out there, I've experienced a noticeable difference in my muscle tone. I've had several people comment on it as well. I've gone from hating exercise to loving working out here. I haven't missed a single day since I joined in February. I have also dealt with chronic pain almost every day for the last 20 years, and this is helping me so much. I actually feel myself getting stronger versus being in pain all the time. It's worth every penny and I love it! Thank you!!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I feel very comfortable working out here. The staff ensure that I am using the machines correctly. If you can give up 20 mins 2x a week I highly recommend it. Their machines keep track of your progress which is encouraging so you can see your results. Along with diet and the Exercise Coach I have lost 10# in about one month and lowered my blood pressure. I can honestly say I look forward to it...and mind you Im uncoordinated and uncomfortable in a regular gym setting. If your on the fence give it a try, they give you 2 free sessions and there's no hard selling like at other places!

I’ve been going for 3 weeks now (6 sessions). Recovering from an illness and losing a lot of my muscle, this has really kickstarted my rehabilitation. I love how the staff works directly with you to design a plan around your needs. Plus, the resistance training is a brilliant way to gain strength while not risking injury. Honestly, I didn’t think a 20 minute workout would kick my butt (in a good way) but, I find myself looking forward to my next session. I’m a believer!

What a delightful surprise it was for me when I discovered The Exercise Coach. This new way of targeted fitness and consistent improvement all encompassed in a 20 minute workout is incredible! I never considered having a coached routine before but it makes all the difference. The weight is coming off and my strength is increasing as well. I’ve had gym memberships in the past and I lost interest and momentum very quickly. I think the friendly atmosphere too helps my resolve to keep at it. I can’t recommend this place enough! The Exercise Coach team at Almaden Valley is exceptional. I joined the program earlier this year and have been enjoying it ever since. Fariba and Aidan have been great mentors, they actively guide me thru the process and mix up the workout to keep it effective and interesting. I have history of retina detachment, currently suffer from hypertension and Open Angular Glaucoma, which impairs me from joining a conventional gym. The 20 min regimen at the Exercise coach has helped me improve my stamina, muscle mass, reduce weight and feel more confident without straining too much. Aidan supervising my workout gives me the confidence to push more and strive for better results each session. The phone App records all workout metrics and shows the trend as sessions pass by.
I highly recommend trying out Exercise Coach at Almaden and connecting with Fariba and her team.
