I am on the verge of turning 70 years old. I have been in top shape during periods of my youth and middle age, but I have really slacked off the last 10 - 15 years. I lost a lot of strength, and was becoming infirm and unsteady. I needed something, but didn't want another gym membership or exercise equipment to gather dust, so I researched The Exercise Coach and their 20 minute workout methodology and decided to give it a try.
I was impressed at the equipment and tracking capability, so I joined in July 2025, worked with the trainers and found out just how much strength I have lost in my "old age" (and subsequently re-gained in the past 4 months):
Leg Press Beginning: 248

Chest Press Beginning: 157
Chest Press Current: 259
Narrow Grip Rows Beginning: 104

In addition, the Core and Cardio exercises have enabled me to be more flexible in my daily activities and firm in my walking and balance. Other side effects include better sleep at night, more energy, and (with proper nutrition) I have shed over 15 lbs. during this time.
These are real results!
Now, I'm the kind of guy that wants his moneys worth out of every purchase, and It is moderately expensive, so I try to give 100% on every lift and recovery, which works the muscles to exhaustion and rebuilds magnificently. My justification and reasoning is, I would rather spend the money on good health for a strong body than on health care for a failing body.
I am VERY pleased with The Exercise Coach, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to re-claim their good health.

This is an amazing concept and program for resistance training. The staff are so knowledgeable, encouraging and helpful all along the way. The Exercise Coach concept is fantastic and individuated to each personβs baseline and progress. Itβs a targeted 20 minute session twice a week. I love it and Rowena the owner is wonderful!

Really like this facility. The team that works there are very personable and make you feel very comfortable. They are quite knowledgeable and give you exercises according to your strength and ability. The facility is very clean and parking is always right in front!!

I love just going in and being told what to do so I don't have to think about it. The trainers keep track of what I've done, what's next for me, how I'm managing, etc. And regardless of which trainer I get, it's the same. I would highly recommend it.

I'm no stranger to exercise, but I don't get good results when left to my own devices. Since working with the trainers at EC-Rocklin, I've seen results, not only on the screens that report my results at the end of each exercise, but in everyday life. I can feel how much strength I've gained, including balance. The studio is welcoming and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Glad I found it!

I HATE to work out- I love this place. My twice a week workouts are quick (20 min) and not easy- there is no way I would be able to do them without a trainer- they push me in a way I wouldnβt be able to push myself. I started on October 26, 2023 and have not missed a day! I am seeing results!!!!

Recently diagnosed with osteoporosis, I changed my workouts to emphasize strength over cardio but questioned if I was pushing myself enough. The Exercise Coach was the answer. The Exerbotics machines have the technology that not only tracks my progress, but regulates the intensity of each exercise so that I am always challenged, improving but not overdoing. With coach-led sessions, my weekly workouts are planned so I am rotating through different machines to get the best overall workout. The coaches also adjust the machines, so I don't have to remember the settings for each machine. So far, I have had Rowena and Ryan as my coaches. They both are friendly, knowledgeable about the program and encouraging. I highly recommend The Exercise Coach!

I have been going to Exercise coach now for about a month and I have more strength and energy from only 20 minutes 2x a week! The coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable. Enjoy my time there! Anyone can do 20 minutes!! I have some issues with my back and hips and they accommodate for those as well.

You can get a full workout in just 20 minutes. There are no wasted reps. Each is at full intensity with an overloaded eccentric. It's a workout you can't get in a regular gym. And with the wide variety of protocols it's always interesting. The fast pace feels like a HIIT workout for cardio.

I was intrigued (yet skeptical) by the idea of strength training in 2 workouts per week for just 20 minutes. The science of their machines & the customized 1:1 coaching really makes it all possible.
