March 2020 I started my journey with Coach Luis. Everything shut down by the second week with Coach but I was determined to keep the goals of getting stronger and feeling better. So Coach Luis posted weekly work outs checked up on me and would occasionally ask me to film my form to make sure I wasn’t doing things wrong. I kept on track with every work out he had given me and he was very helpful in providing me with the essential equipment needed to be able to do them while at home. Eventually I made it back into the gym and started lifting heavier. When I started I hadn’t graduated yet and wanted to make sure I was able to at least be able to lift a certain amount of weight before graduating and getting hired for my X-ray tech position. Every week he asked me how I felt if I see progress and to be patient with myself if I didn’t. Eventually others started to notice me toning out to what I wanted and I eventually was able to reach certain goals like doing 3 dips I wasn’t able to do before and even making it to almost a pull up. Now that I’ve been hired I notice how much stronger I am and how helpful my training had been for my job. Having to lift patients up to place a plate underneath a patient has been easier for me to accomplish now that I can lift heavier and be more confident about my form. Coach Luis has not only been just a coach but also a therapist at times when I’ve felt like my progress wasn’t happening and life was just getting in the way of it. He’s truly helped me stay motivated to continue to feel stronger and feel good about myself on a daily. And I have truly enjoyed showing off how much stronger I’ve become thanks to all his help and guidance. I am truly one of those people who needs a constant person to keep me on track and that is what Luis has done for me and continues to do for me every week. Im proud to say that within this year I am able to lift more than my weight, actually see muscles on my arms and feel a lot more confident about helping my grandma out in case she ever falls. I truly would recommend Coach Luis!

Luis has a true passion for his client's progress and improvement. Luis was able to help me identify the areas to strengthen in order to improve my overall fitness but also my fitness as it relates to my own goals and passions. As a both a practitioner of martial arts and horseback rider, I was looking to take my practices to the next level. Luis took the time to investigate and thoroughly understand the muscle systems and common inadequacies that riders struggle with in order to help me target those areas in myself and build confidence as a rider. He's practical in his approach and considers your overall lifestyle in order to create a bespoke training program and nutritional recommendations. On top of that, his dedication to his client's goals makes him a stellar accountability partner throughout the journey.

I love working with Coach Luis. I am 47 years old and have never been in better shape. When I first came to him, I just wanted to lose middle age fat. I've been a runner for most of my life, and I had been going to the gym regularly. Around my early 30's I started gaining weight, about a pound a year, and no amount of exercise or diet modification seemed to make a difference. I was so frustrated!
I sat down with Luis and explained my issue to him. He did a full intake interview with me. He asked me about my lifestyle, my exercise habits, my priorities, etc. He started to design a personal workout plan for me. Over time, we modified it as my body changed to become more refined and focused. I have since dropped 10 pounds and 8% body fat. My run times have increased by about 30 seconds per mile. I am a stronger than ever. I have muscles that never existed before!
Luis is great because he doesn't judge you. Whatever shape you are in, whatever your goals are, he wants to find a way to help you get there. You don't need to feel bad about where you're starting with him - because his focus is on where you want to go. He is super encouraging. He also is highly educated. He lives and breathes health. He looks at it from a holistic perspective - emotional and physical. And he's interested in helping you still find the joy and pleasure in life that you like. For example, I like wine and chocolate. I've never given up either during my workout journey.
One other note - when we first started he told me he wanted to get me to do a pull up from the full hanging position. And I was like "I've never done a pull up in my life." I totally didn't believe him. And guess what, I can do pull ups and chin ups from the full hanging position and I go around bragging about it all the time!
I can't recommend Luis highly enough. Whenever someone compliments me, I always tell them "It's body by Luis."

I came to coach Luis with the hopes of adding lean muscle to my physique. He had an excellent attitude and gave me a free consultation to review various physical abilities and discuss goals of mine moving forward. Luis made it a focal point to ensure that my thoughts and goals were heard and constructed a plan to achieve them. His workout structures are a great balance between modern exercises and individual determination. I was able to have a full workout that targeted different muscle groups which left me feeling less sore and injured while still being able to push myself as hard as I felt. Within my two months with coach Luis I gained about 5-10lbs of lean muscle. Luis was always there when I had questions and made sure to go the extra mile when I needed a push.
