I love this studio! I have been going for almost a year and it has really enhanced my practice. The community is welcoming and open and the instructors really get to know their students. There is a wide range of classes and times that are super convenient for a 9-5 schedule. And there is ALWAYS parking! No more rushing to yoga and missing class because you can't find a spot. Hands down one of the best studios I have been a part of in my 7 years of practice. Thank you HOY!

Good folks. Felt comfortable not knowing anything about yoga. I was the only one that laughed when I fell over so don’t be afraid to try it!

What a great community of yogis! I was visiting San Diego hoping for a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all weekend, (from Utah) and hoping to find a Yoga Studio to help me recharge. This. Is. It. I took Joel's Deep Stretch class and Markandeya's Vinyasa and Sound Healing Class. I've attended a lot of yoga classes including hot yoga in my day and I've never felt the emotional benefits like I did at House of Yogi. They are warm, authentic, friendly, and passionate about their practice. It's clear they love what they do and love the community they invite to join them. San Diego will always be my self-care getaway spot BECAUSE of House of Yogi.

I haven’t taken a yoga class since the pandemic and was nervous about getting back into it. This studio was so welcoming and helpful. Karen taught a wonderful therapeutic back yoga wall class; it was a smaller class but enjoyed the one-on-one connection she created with the class. Everyone is so kind and calm. I'm very excited to have found such a great local studio and cannot wait to grow within this place.

What I like the most about this yoga studio is that it is unpretentious with great teachers. so many times going to a yoga studio these days is nerve wrecking because everyone is trying to look cool. Not at house of yogi...thank you

I attended my first class at this studio. I felt a strong sense of calm upon arrival, and every moment throughout my session was met with peace and tranquility. Karen, the teacher, is very gentle and down to earth. She communicates so well and makes you feel very comfortable. Rachel, the owner, is very kind and generous. It was a great experience overall! I am super excited that I found this gem!

They personally texted me thru my month trial, but when I texted them to cancel my subscription, they made the process harder than it needed to be.

I love THOY! It’s a woman owned yoga studio that is so welcoming. Everyone is warm and kind, it feels like a second home. There’s an awesome range of styles from Yin & Meditation, joint friendly Hatha classes, all of the way to kick butt sweaty workouts. Plus the pricing in general is great for a studio in San Diego. Try out the intro special for two weeks of unlimited yoga!

Excellent cueing, great flows, knowledgable and committed guides.

I love House of Yogi! I've attended some slow flow and vigorous vinyasa classes.

They have a slightly heated studio and as a yoga teacher myself I can attest, the teaching style is impeccable. You will get a lot from this studio!

If you are looking to expand your practice, get back in the flow, or just exploring San Diego's endless options, check them out :)

This studio is the most non judgemental studio I have ever been to. I myself have not done yoga in over 10 years and my first night the instructor made sure I had a decent time. Everyone is so welcoming and even if you can't fully keep up with all poses the instructor give you modified options and let you borrow props (which are disinfected each time.) This has finally gotten me out of a no working out slump and back into it.

Rachel is so helpful, amazing and has a great studio here in Point Loma, San Diego. The atmosphere here is calm and welcoming. The teachers are very knowledgeable, kind & always want to help you grow throughout your practice. I decided to try the two week deal through Groupon, which refueled my love for yoga. I decided to purchase the unlimited monthly membership because it’s so affordable compared to a lot of studios in the area. Looking forward to growing with the yoga community!

I LOVE this yoga studio. They have really amazing teachers and a great vibe/ community. Seems like they have a good variety of classes and times to work with many different schedules. They are following protocols for COVID and keeping everything and everyone safe! <3

Rachel, the owner, was SO helpful getting me set up to use my Groupon. The app is super easy to use. Cassandra is an incredible teacher and person. This place feels like home, and I feel like I finally found my west coast yoga studio since moving out here a couple years ago. :) <3 Peace, love, and light to the lovely people at House of Yogi!

Today was my very first time into an yoga class and I must to say, it couldn't happen in a better way, my experience with The House of Yogi is being so pleasant since I got in touch with them to get information about how to get start, Rachel is super kind and friendly, she makes me feel so comfortable and excited to experience my first class, I used the app to book myself in the today's class, which is super useful and really easy to use it, Chasity is an wonderful teacher, she transmitted all good vibrations and definitely I was able to feel all energy moving through my body, I would say my first experience was like figuring out such a great way to get connected with the universe! Thank y'all for the hard work, I just can't wait for the next class!

I began attending their yoga classes in August when classes had to be held outside. They accommodated us with thick mats & shielded us from the passing public. When we were allowed back inside I was impressed with squares outlined in tape on the floor & their double doors that have remained open for more ventilation. Other students have been respectful by sticking to their square. In addition to feeling protected from Covid, I love their yoga classes! Cassandra & Rachel have been my instructors in what they call "slow flow", but they have a variety of other styles & instructors.

The House of Yogi is an amazing local studio where all of the teachers have something special to offer, whether you want to feel energized, relaxed, or both. Rachel, the business owner, creates a space that fosters growth, compassion, and joy. Her classes challenge me mentally and physically, and takes me out of my headspace to live in the moment. I could not ask for a more uplifting teacher who always makes me feel supported and empowered. Please help keep this local business open and check them out - it will change your life!

Yoga always seemed intimidating to me so I opted out for years. Looking for balance in my life, I signed up at the end of December ... and whoever would’ve thought we would all be where we are today during Covid. Talk about being prepared with balance! There a great variety of classes and you have the option to attend in person outside or via zoom. Both work very well. The teachers take amazing care of the students by offering alternatives to most positions which I found extremely welcoming as a beginner. The owner, Rachael, even reached out to me personally when with the goal of wanting to understand what I was hoping to get out of the classes. She’s truly incredible!! This is a wonderful accepting community and I highly recommend this particular studio to all ranges ... from experienced yoga students to anyone even thinking about bringing yoga into their life!

I found this studio after lots of searching, and it is by far my favorite place for yoga. Convenient location, great instructors, good for all levels from beginner to advanced, and one reason I started with this studio is that the classes are NOT heated!! Rachel, the owner, is coming up with new and creative ways to continue practice in spite of all the COVID restrictions. I've been doing deep stretch classes with Joel for several years now, which has helped me eliminate long term pain from too many years working on computers and probably avoided the need for an operation in the future. I highly recommend this stretch class for everyone - men and women - regardless of fitness level.

I love this yoga studio! I have not committed to a yoga in many years until I found this one. The owners Rachel & Cindy are awesome. I am 49 years old and love that the members in every class are a variety of ages and skill levels helping me always feel comfortable. The studio is clean, spacious and has all the equipment you need. I first fell in love with the Deep Stretch classes but have recently started to do the others online and love them as well. I have been a member for 11 months now and have never considered leaving for another studio. They have been amazing during this tough time accommodating members so we can keep are bodies and minds healthy. I thank them so much for that.

I absolutely love this yoga studio. It is my favorite of all time! The instructors are amazing! Rachel helped me get back into it and I’m forever grateful, she’s wonderful. A lot goes into me connecting with a studio, the vibe the atmosphere, layout, colors, instructors, and this one checks off all areas for me. House of Yogis will always be my choice for a yoga studio.

I love House of Yogi for its variety of classes, awesome instructors, and amazing community! Cindy's classes give you an blend between a tough workout and a spiritual connection. Joel's stretch class will change your life for the better. Focusing on stretching and why it's important to keep your flexibility. The yoga wall back class has saved my spine after years of sitting at a desk all day. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Side note - grateful for the new ownership keeping the studio's great vibe!

This is a great studio, friendly staff, and lots of props to use. It has parking, cubbies, and the decor and interior design is lovely. Zoey Freedman is my favorite teacher, she is such a positive and caring person who makes all of her students feel comfortable. Her vinyasa and restorative classes (Wednesday nights) are great for all levels.

I absolutely love House of Yogi! My first experience had me hooked. All of the staff and students were very welcoming and I felt comfortable and right at home from the moment I stepped in the door. The studio is simple, yet beautiful and extremely clean, and parking is great. The teachers and classes that are offered are very diverse and serve beginners to advanced yogi's. I have been practicing for over 8 years and have been able to deepen my practice and knowledge here. They also have very reasonable packages and memberships and offer many great workshops. I am in my last couple weeks of teacher training with House of Yogi and have truly redefined my passion and love for yoga! I would highly recommend doing your training here if you are interested in a program, it has been life-changing to say the least. I am grateful to have found my tribe!

I've been a student at The House of Yogi now for over a year, and it's become such a critical aspect in maintaining my well-being. The studio itself is a simple, yet sufficiently pleasant area of practice, with all the tools one would need to develop their inner Yogi. The instructors are all passionate, experienced, and soulful. The House blends science and spirituality beautifully, allowing instructors to be creative and original. Since the beginning, it's been a warm, welcoming place of practice that feels like a home away from home. It's because of all this that I have unquestionably found my studio for many years to come.

This place is like a sanctuary - chill vibe, for me - one of the best San Diego yoga studios for vinyasa and restorative classes.

The yoga instructors are seasoned veterans, some of the top yoga teachers in San Diego. Studio is the heart of Point Loma and near Ocean Beach & PB...with tons of parking - in the shopping center, CVS, Swami's and Starbucks.

Also, sweet yoga deals for new students for unlimited or class packs.

Love this place! I'm an avid yogi and this is one of my favorite spots in San Diego. Shaun is a fantastic teacher and has done a great job of getting an amazing lineup of other teachers. I love the advanced vinyasa, but the all levels is perfect for anyone from the most beginner to the most advanced as there is a lot of freedom. And if you're needing to really relax and restore, the restoration classes are pretty amazing.

Really love the feel and energy of the space as it is surrounded by greenery with a lot of natural light...and there's parking! You don't find that often. If you are in the area, definitely try it out! $39 for your first month is a pretty sweet deal!

I'm pretty new to yoga and have had trouble finding a studio that "feels" good. Many in the area seem too big, too small, too dark, too hot, etc. I've experienced some good classes and teachers, but haven't found a studio that I would want to call home... until House of Yogi. It is conveniently located, has ample parking, and despite being in close proximity to a shopping center it feels like an oasis. It's open and inviting studio is just the rights size, the floor to ceiling windows give way to beautiful tree views, and most importantly it just has that great intangible "vibe" that I have been looking for.

Again, I'm pretty new to yoga so I don't feel comfortable commenting on the teachers, sequencing, etc... but I have enjoyed every class I have taken and LOVE this carefully thought out studio space.
