Joining The Lotus Method was the best thing I did for my mind and my body during my second pregnancy, I only wish I'd joined during my first. Everyone I trained with (Becka, Caitlin, Hayley and Ashley) were exceptional. A little about each of them, Becka gave me the warmest welcome in my first few sessions and brought me onboard. She's friendly, knowledgeable and relatable - a great beginning to an incredible journey. I then had the honor of training with Caitlin (the founder and owner of TLM). Not only is Caitlin an expert in the field and completely dedicated to her craft, she was also pregnant at the time and we got to go through that experience together. Not to mention she's a badass woman business owner and mom, talk about #goals. When Caitlin went out on mat leave I met Hayley. Hayley is the most encouraging and uplifting trainer I've ever worked with, she is so supportive and you can actually hear the pride and excitement in her voice when you get your breath right or knock out a tough workout. I enjoyed every session with her and felt like I not only got a great workout but also made a friend. Lastly, I had a few sessions with Ashley and she will make you work work work! But the whole time you'll be chatting and laughing and having a blast. You truly can't go wrong with any trainer at TLM because Caitlin only brings in the best! I'm grateful to you all.
Outside of the exceptional team, TLM helped me get my body to where it needed to be to enjoy every minute of my pregnancy and birth. Gone were the aches and plantar fasciitis that I experienced in pregnancy number one. I felt strong, empowered, and protected through every trimester. TLM works with you to meet you where you're at on your pregnancy journey, they cater to your needs, the trimester you are in, your energy level that day, and they are always willing to make adjustments for you and/or push you when you need it. I felt strong and confident going into labor and the push breath they taught me had my baby out in no time!
I will recommend TLM to everyone I know heading into their pregnancy journey and I can't wait to get back to class to help heal during postpartum.

I feel the strongest I have ever felt thanks to my time at Lotus. Since starting at 8 weeks pregnant, I've been able to manage pain and prevent injury during both pregnancy and 4-5 months postpartum. My trainer, Chris, has been BEYOND supportive during this entire journey and I can't speak highly enough about her. In addition to the lovely community of other moms and the beautiful space, Chris made my experience at Lotus very special. She is thoughtful, caring, and adapts the workouts to my needs. She takes the time to explain things, and is extremely patient and understanding. She can also hold space for feelings, which is so important on this intense journey of motherhood! Along with the emotional support and love, the workouts have been really effective and highly personalized. The Lotus method, which is focused on breathing and cross-functional strength training, really helped me during labor and recovery. LOVED the whole experience.
