I hate working out so when I saw that this program is 20 minute sessions I decided to give it a try. I’ve gotten so much stronger just doing 2, 20 minute sessions every week for a few months. The atmosphere is not like your average gym, it’s not crowded or loud. There’s zero judgement here. I’ve been working with Zeke and he has been awesome!! Glad I decided to try this perfect workout program!

I highly recommend the Perfect Workout after training there once a week for two years. I am so much stronger in just 20 minutes. The trainers at the studio are friendly and knowledgeable. The studio is clean and not crowded. It is easy to schedule your workout online or in the app, or the trainer will schedule them for you. You can also easily reschedule your date and/or time if you end up with a conflict (as long as you give 12 hours notice). You can check the sessions you are signed up for online, but they also send you a reminder via text. I also am so happy my trainer, Zeke, who encourages and motivates me to push myself (always a little longer or harder than I think I can). He modifies the exercises from time-to-time which keeps it interesting. However, there is a lot of consistency as well, so you can see progress as you use heavier weights over time on the same machine. The trainers know how to modify your workout if you have an injury or area of weakness. The trainers use a tablet to keep track of the weight and settings you use for each of the machines, so even if you need to switch trainers now and then (due to conflicts, etc.), no time is wasted. I just started attending the Perfect Workout. I have been receiving emails from Kyle. I believe he’s the CEO of the company and in one of the emails He talked about a book called “Wired To Eat” by Rob Wolf. I have been reading the book nonstop for the last three days just can’t get enough of it. It has great Information. I have been on this health journey for the last five years since Covid. I just turned 62 last December so I figured I might as well get all my health checked out My doctor sent me to a whole lot of specialist and every specialist I went to said I had something osteoporosis, lupus, prediabetic on and on and on, and all they wanted to do is give me a pill. I think everything starts with your gut, not a pill. Gut health however is really hard to figure out, this book simplified it for me. I definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in getting healthy from the inside out.

I SURVIVED MY 2ND EXPERIENCE WITH THE PERFECT WORKOUT. IM SERIOUSLY AMAZED THAT AN INTENSE 20 MIN ACTAULLY GAVE ME A LARGER MUSCLE PUMP THAN WHAT I USUALLY GET FROM MY OWN 60 MIN WORKOUT.

I love my trainer Allie at the Perfect Workout! After having a spinal fusion, my orthopedic surgeon suggested The Perfect Workout as a way to safely strengthen my core and increase bone density. My trainer (Michelle, at the Carlsbad location) put together a strength building program that was ideal for me. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the rapid progress I made with her guidance. I am stronger than I ever was and my bone density has improved. I no longer have osteoporosis! My core, legs, arms and back are toned and “cut.”
Having a trainer is invaluable and keeps me accountable and challenged each week. I was never a gym person, but the results of this program inspired me to show up for every single appointment.

I started the Perfect Workout when I was 57 and have been going for 15 years. I love it and the trainers are fantastic. It has really helped my overall health and fitness. I feel stronger and have been able to keep my weight and shape in check. One of the best parts of my workout is it only takes less than a half hour, I can go in my regular clothes and after I am finished I can go about my day. I've been going to strength training sessions in total about 4 years or so--a few years pre-COVID and a few years more recently. I very much like the philosophy and the efficiency of the strength training. If you plan to sign up, know that it requires discipline and should not be the only thing that you do--but should be part of a greater workout strategy. Also, highly recommend trying a few trainers and seeing which one most aligns with your tastes.

In August 2023, I had a bone density scan and was diagnosed with osteopenia and I had to do something to reverse it. I wanted to start strength training, but knew I needed some sort of trainer because I wouldn't push myself as hard as was necessary to get the best results. I did some research and found the Perfect Workout. I went in for a consultation and was so impressed with the program. They didn't hard-sell me at all, but I knew this program fit my lifestyle really well and it promised the results I wanted. I've been going religiously ever since and I'm obsessed. I will have another bone scan this summer and can't wait to see the results, but what I do know now is that I've gained so much muscle that my doctor was shocked. I told him about the program and he looked into it. At my next appointment he told me he was really impressed with the program and the science behind it. He's not only a doctor but also a triathlete, so that's saying something.
Here are a few things to know about it:
1) THE TRAINERS: They are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. I usually workout with Albert, who I LOVE and is my sweet baby angel, but I've worked out with several other trainers (Maher, Todd, Steph, Sean) and they're all so great. It's actually kind of fun to mix it up once in a while to get a slightly different perspective. I don't know their exact credentials in terms of education, training, etc., but you can tell they'e all highly qualified and the process to be a trainer at TPW is very thorough from what I've seen. Point is, you're in great hands.
2) THE ENVIRONMENT: It is calm and focused. There aren't a lot of people around, and it's quiet so you can really focus on getting the most out of your 20 minutes. There is absolutely no feeling intimidated by people in better shape or doing more than you, because you're only ever in the studio with 1 or 2 other clients, and you're each so focused on your own workout with your dedicated trainer.
3) THE WORKOUT: It is INTENSE. It's an incredibly hard 20 minutes, but that's exactly why it works. And who can't give something their all for 20 minutes? For me, knowing I worked as hard as I could makes it even more rewarding.
4) THE COST: It is a great value. People may make the mistake of comparing the cost to $0, but that's not the math I'm doing. I'm comparing it to what it would cost to get similar results in another setting. Before the pandemic, I worked out with a trainer 3 times a week for several years, and spent about $15,000/year. I always felt like it was worth it because I was in good shape and it was an investment in my health. That was at a crowded gym, and took 90 minutes each time between getting there, doing my workout, and getting home. I'm getting way better results with TPW, for less than half that cost and about 1/3 of the time. It is so worth it!
The only drawback for me is the location. This applies to me specifically and may not be an issue for you at all because they have so many locations (another benefit!). I go to the Westside/Sawtelle studio. My drive to and from the studio takes twice as long as the workout itself and much of that time is spent in the tenth of a mile right around the studio because of the congestion. Even with that factored in, it's still shorter than a traditional workout with a trainer at a typical gym. I have just come to accept that as a trade-off for the incredible benefits and results I've achieved, but I would love it if they opened another studio in Culver City, Marina del Rey, Westchester or Ladera Heights. 🙏🏽
The bottom line is that this program is innovative, completely accessible to all fitness levels and you WILL see great results. 💪🏽

I joined perfect workout in 2018 and after working out once a week for a year the difference was significant! I knew as I aged the key to optimum health would be my strength... And their program impacts all components of health: strength, core strength, balance, which all factor back into a better mental outlook so better nutrition choices and it becomes a full circle. The only thing I would change is the cost. I wish they offered some sort of gym access membership hours where a trainer is not required as part of the package. The cost is comparable to having a private trainer but a private trainer works out with you for a full hour. That being said I love the slow motion approach because it gets results fast and is safe.

I've been training at the Perfect Workout for almost three years now. As a former professional ballerina, when I retired from dance I needed a safe way to continue to workout my body, while also transitioning to a completely new schedule in life. This happened to be the perfect fit. The amount of improvement in my muscles with just a 20 minute workout once a week is amazing. I've worked with 4 different trainers over all my time here, but have been with DJ for over a year now. For me he is the perfect combination of a trainer that can push me, but will also watch out for my body and have me back off when I want to push myself too far. I've been training at the Carlsbad Perfect Workout for 8 months now. As a 50+ year old woman, my original goals were to feel stronger and to not get injured. I've had joint issues so I'm protective of my health and I don't do risky activities, in fact, I had stopped snow skiing many years ago for fear of injury because I just didn't feel strong enough. A few weeks ago, I went snow skiing! I felt a little nervous, but I felt strong and on the slopes I really enjoyed doing something I thought I'd never be able to do again!! I love The Perfect Workout, and here’s why: the staff, the environment, and the results! I have been going on a weekly basis for about 4 months. Almost immediately after signing up on line and scheduling my first workout I received a call from my new trainer Mitzy. She was so friendly and welcoming! I told her what my goals were and she was eager to help me reach them. When I arrived at the studio I was greeted by several staff members, all of whom are super-friendly. The gym is so different from other gyms - no mirrors, no TVs, no music. Nothing to distract me from focusing on why I was there. And I never have to go it alone because every workout is with a trainer. Mine has been wonderful! Mitzy keeps track of my workouts, sets up the machines for me and applies just the right amount of weights. She pays meticulous attention to my form and knows how to push me to my physical weight limits without overdoing it. I have special considerations for my back, and she has worked carefully with me to make sure no exercises cause any discomfort or harm. My results have been surprising for only going once a week (instead of the suggested twice weekly). I really wanted to develop increased strength for the health of my bones. And my strength has definitely increased - the steady increase in weights on the machines each week is my proof!

It really IS the perfect workout! If you're thinking you can't possibly get a complete body workout in 20 minutes, I challenge you to go to the nearest location and ask them to put you through a workout. You will be amazed, impressed and very fatigued no matter how great a shape you are in. My trainer Mitzi is the best. She carefully trains, encourages and challenges you every step of the way. It's never an easy workout, but it's totally worth it AND it took only about 20 minutes to complete!

Works great, I have a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos so repetitive workout poses a moderate risk. About 6 months into training i have visible muscle mass and no more annoying dislocations or subluxations, keen to keep going at it for the time being.
