You will definitely gain real strength even at only 20 minutes, twice per week. The trainers are very knowledgeable and each has their own style. At 20 minutes, you don't really dread the most strenuous exercises and it keeps you coming back, and it doesn't disrupt your schedule much. This matters because showing up consistently for 20 minutes beats missing longer workouts because you can't beat the fatigue or don't have time. The only negatives I can say are that the range of equipment is limited and it isn't cheap, but the results are real, more than I can say for other personal training experiences in my case.

Excellent center for HIT training, i.e., very slow weight lifting concentrating in repetitions to potentiate different muscle groups. After 4 months of going about 10 to 15 minutes a week I got a general improvement in my physical condition. The thorough set of Nautilus machines the center offers allows you to follow, thanks to the expert and friendly coaching of trainers like Mike Cederoth, the advice contained in books like "Body by Science" by Doug McGuff. Very satisfactory experience.

I’ve been attending biweekly workouts at the Rancho Bernardo studio for the past 16 months and can’t speak highly enough of both the personal trainers and the workout. My trainer Michael is superb! My strength is improving impressively and he’s a delight to work with. He’s brilliantly modified my workouts to accommodate home injuries and colds, yet encourages me always to give my best. I have been going to The Perfect Workout on and off for years, but my new trainer Michael has breathed new life into my workouts. He is an extraordinary personal trainer. He checks in at every workout to see if we need to make any modifications to my routine and then makes great, useful adjustments. So many trainers that I’ve had in the past have just skipped an exercise if I have an injury, but Michael is able to make tweaks and modifications on the fly that let me get a full body workout that not only doesn’t exacerbate an injury, but moves me closer to full recovery. I am stronger, more toned and converting body fat to muscle- what more can you ask for! Worth every penny!

This truly is the “perfect” workout! Working with personal trainer, Mike Andrews, just twice a week for 20 minutes is providing great results! I have been going to the Perfect Workout for two years and I feel much stronger! Previously I only did cardio for exercise, but I feel that strength training is so beneficial for health and increases bone density. I wanted to do it in an environment where someone was training me and I didn't feel like I was being watched by lots of other people - the perfect workout is great for this! I have never hurt myself weight lifting under supervision here and I never have to feel self conscious. I highly recommend!

The trainers pay special attention to helping me improve. As an 85 year old male, I am not as nimble as I used to be. Danielle and Jessica in Rancho Bernardo customize my workouts so that I am slowly achieving better balance and strength in my legs and torso. They both have great attitudes and are so encouraging.

Quarantine workout testimony
When my gym and personal training was shut down last month, I was devastated. My little selfish secret was that I was using The Perfect Workout gym in Rancho Bernardo for over 8 months and with overwhelmingly amazing results, had come to a painful stop.
As a retired military special forces veteran, I was highly skeptical about The Perfect Workout, HIT (High Intensity Exercise, see link below) and their method of weight training for 20 minutes, twice a week. I had lost a lot a muscle and gained fat since my retirement, and I was feeling very weak and out of shape. Because of physical limitations including major joint repair, replacement, injuries, surgeries, and a diagnosis of an autoimmune disorder, I could no longer go to a regular gym and train like I was accustomed to.
At the urging of an neighbor, I signed up for a complementary session at The Perfect Workout in Rancho Bernardo. I was very willing but skeptical. But to my surprise, after just 2-3 months of training, twice a week for 20 minutes each session, my body began to change in ways I thought could only be accomplished by hours and years in the gym. My belly fat was disappearing, I was gaining muscle and strength I hadn’t seen in decades, and somehow my endurance dramatically improving.
After the lockdown started, I was terrified to interrupt my workouts so I was excited but tentative to see them offer virtual workouts. I started with a new trainer named Gary, and although I am selfishly hesitant to recommend him due to fear that others will book him up, I am thrilled with the at-home, virtual workouts and the amazing results just kept getting better.
I could go on and on for days about what this program has done for me, my body, and my mental and physical health over the last 8 months. I have lost over 50 lbs on this program, while gaining lean muscle, strength, and definition I thought was lost forever.
The big picture of all of this, and my main reason for getting my health and strength back, is to make sure I am here as long as possible for my kids and grandkids. I know that with age comes muscle loss which can lead to a plethora of problems and exacerbation of my existing medical and physical conditions, so that’s why this program has been perfect.
My wife is also doing the workouts, and she lost her baby weight after years of struggling, for the first time in almost 15 years. She has lost over 60 lbs in 8 months as well, and significantly lowered her blood pressure, A1C, and blood inflammation factors. Even though we love the aesthetic results of the program, our main objective is our health and to not lose muscle with aging, but to build muscle, so that we will be around longer for our kids and hopefully grandkids.
I have seen many postings for gym equipment and heard of many looking for haircuts and workouts and thought it was time that I share my virtual workout program. It’s not cheap, as we have had to make many concessions in my family to be able to fit it into our budget, but the benefits it provides and years it adds to my life are priceless.

Best Workout that I have ever done for targeting all areas. I really enjoy coming to workout and that's saying a lot! After many knee injuries and feet issues this is the only workout that works all my areas without the damaging impact to my joints. I feel it has also helped my arthritis and I haven't dropped anything in a long time. My trainer Donna is the best and knows how to push me when I need it. I have never felt so strong and will do this workout the rest of my life. I even got my husband to join!

I had a great workout with the manager Keith today! I workout regularly on my own and get decent results, but the slow motion training was pretty intense and I felt a deeper burn. I am excited to see the results I get with the PERFECT WORKOUT, it truly is an amazing program and I recommend it to anyone. Keith was super awesome showing and teaching me everything. He's very motivating, highly energetic, and makes sure you're doing everything correctly! I wish I heard of them sooner, but it's never too late to start.
