I like the Plex. When we moved to this side of SJ, we were happy to find a place where we could watch the game, enjoy an awesome beer wall, and attend some interesting local events. Birthday parties, SJmade, cornhole tournies, etc. Now that we've started our family, I was hoping to have our daughter's first birthday party here.

Well, that's where our experience went south. We've spent a whole month chasing down a unicorn named "Elsa" and it's been nothing but dead-ends. (-_-)

Portal doesn't work - dont bother using it. We got a hold of her initially through email, but anything after that? Crickets. We've resorted to calling in for weeks only to be told to check back the next day because she'll supposedly be in at that time. We've even driven over only to be told to "Try again tomorrow." Absolutely frustrating. (But I'm also jealous - I wish I could get away with this kind of work schedule!)

Yesterday, we were, again, told she was going to be in today for an event. We called in the morning and staff told us to check back in an hour before the event starts so we can catch her. Well, we drove over, saw the event happening, but only to be told "Oh, she wont be coming in because there's no events today." I guess the event I was staring at was actually a hallucination of my own event that will never be.

I really want to continue to enjoy this place but why is it so difficult proper response here?? I saw another review experiencing the same thing so I'm hoping my review will get some motion. I just hate seeing my wife stressing about this lack of professionalism.

Nice sports complex with a good range of activities. This review is only for the food shop, since I couldn’t find a separate page for them.

I don’t recommend ordering food here. The staff were rude and unwelcoming. The lady at the counter seemed frustrated even when we just asked a simple question. The fries we got were burnt, and the sandwiches were way too greasy.

My son first ordered his sandwich without cheese but then changed his mind. They charged us full price for the first order (which I understood), but when I asked if they could just add cheese, they charged me again. When I questioned it, I was told, “That’s the kitchen rule, don’t order if you think it’s not fair.” I ended up paying again just to make my son happy, but the whole experience felt very unreasonable.

We celebrated my son’s birthday at The Plex yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic! It was our first time hosting such a big party with so many kids and adults, and I was a little anxious about the food, the organization, and the overall chaos. But the staff made everything so smooth! We had a dedicated person for the battle activities who followed the kids, and another dedicated person who took care of the food, which made everything run seamlessly. The kids had a blast and the adults could relax and enjoy. Truly a 5-star experience — highly recommended for kids’ parties!

- Multiple enclosed fields, including a unique blacklight skating rink and dedicated pickleball/badminton courts.
- A fantastic arcade.
- A convenient food court.

Arcade (5/5): Featured a large variety of games, from thrilling racing and shooting games (including an immersive VR headset experience!) to skeeball and other standard arcade classics. Truly a blast!

Pickleball courts (3/5): The flooring consisted of plastic tiles, which unfortunately didn't provide much bounce for the ball.

Had a roller skating party for my son at The Plex and it was the best decision ever. Johnny and Ananya, Event Support Assistants from The Plex, provided superb service, and were highly professional. Two years on the roll we’ve been going here for my kids roller hockey tournaments.
This is an exceptional sports complex however, the rinks are not being well-maintained. There is a lot of dust on the floor as the kids are playing, which is preventing them from a quality game.

Fun place for an afternoon as they have so many different options for things to do. My friends and I played bocce ball and soccer. The arcade games are also really fun to run around for a few hours. Highly recommend for a birthday party as the staff was incredibly helpful and the place was clean!

Tried putting my kid in a soccer league here and apparently there's 1 guy in charge of that. After weeks of failed attempts to contact him by phone and email, we waited to speak with him in person. A lot to do, but you will certainly pay for it. The turf is an older style and not high quality compared to more modern field turf. It's basically indoor outdoor carpet. We were there for a tournament and because of the cost to do anything it didn't make a lot of sense to hang around. If you're renting out the whole facility for a tournament have a stay and play option. $40 for all you can play corn hole or something to keep people there and eating/ drinking the over priced food and drinks.

Been here for kids sports and MAA fights. Place is spacious and clean. No real clear signs for which field to go to for soccer so you have wait to ask a staff. I've seen volleyball legues play and ice hockey. Peopñe rent rooms for birthday parties and there is a small arcade. MAA events have signs. Didn't try the drinks or food. Plenty of parking.

We had been to the Plex for a couple of events so my daughter really wanted her birthday party there. We booked soccer and dodgeball along with the pizza party. Andres was the main party planner I was working with who was very responsive and super helpful with my million questions! On the day of, check in was a breeze. They showed us where the party was going to be held and had our arcade cards ready to go for guests. The entire staff was superb and a big shout out to Josh for being the best host and activity lead. He really went above and beyond and asked the birthday girl what she wanted to do on the field (she wanted a little more time with soccer). He got water for all the kids for mini breaks and helped with pizza and cake serving after. Josh even came out to the car to help with loading our stuff! My daughter said it was her best birthday ever! Please don't hesitate to have your child's birthday here.

Really, I went to visit someone, and so I didn't stay long, but it is very large (extreme understatement). Entering the building, i was quite overwhelmed at first. However, after the initial shock and awe, it seemed like it would be a fun place to go play around. There are 2 roller skating/roller hockey rinks, 2 indoor soccer courts (football for foreign visitors), 2 bocci courts, an arcade (new style, no real video games like the 80s-90s), advertised ice skating, gym and more. It is purportedly 240000 square feet, and it feels like it. It also has 3 restaurants and plenty of seating where you can hang out and relax.

It looks like a great place to take kids and is also good for weird games like "cornhole." The website even states there are professional cornhole leagues if you're into that.

While initially overwhelming due to its size and layout, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Everyone should be able to find something they might enjoy doing here. I'll definitely be back to try out some of the services myself!

If you’re planning your child’s birthday party choose another venue. Paying $1300 I expected way more than was delivered. Prior to the party multiple voicemails and dozens of calls before I could ever reach the event planner after already paying a deposit. Requested to speak to a manager….crickets. Party day, arriving at the front desk they just had a blank stare when I asked to check in. They weren’t even sure where the party spot was. When the third worker finally figured out where our tables were, they just pointed “yeah it’s up there”. The arcade time was fun, but many of the games were out of order or not working properly. A soccer game was on the field we had reserved for nerf time so we were asked to delay 30 minutes. The kids were allowed to play around on another field while we waited for our nerf time. Food was just meh! Nothing spectacular….again the price I expected better. When I got my bill to pay Inwas encouraged to tip on top of the 20% “service fee”. $1300 may not seem like much to some, but it’s a big price for a party and this venue wasn’t worth even half of this price.

Front desk is not staffed. WiFi is horrible but the only way to buy kid corner passes. You have to create an account for kids to enter kids corner but since WiFi is so bad it took 15-20mins just to get registered and buy session tickets. There aren’t bathrooms in the kid corner so it wastes alot of your paid session to have kids put on shoes to go to the bathroom just to have to put shoes back on to come back inside. We only got about 37minues of actual playtime during the session between the headache of the online ticket buying process and the kids bathroom and water breaks. (No drinks are allowed inside) kids have to put shoes on/off for water breaks as well. This was just very stressful and a waste of money!

First off, the service was sluggish and indifferent, as if the staff were more interested in their own game than attending to customers. It took an eternity to even get acknowledged, let alone receive our order.

When the food finally arrived, it was a letdown. The nachos were soggy and lacking in toppings, the chicken strips were overcooked and dry, and don't even get me started on the lukewarm, watered-down drinks.

To add insult to injury, the ambiance was lackluster, a distinct lack of energy. It felt more like a retirement home cafeteria than a bustling sports hangout.

Overall, the plex failed to deliver on its promise of a thrilling dining experience. Save your time and money and head elsewhere for your game day cravings.

We had an aweful experience with the event manager, who is not even present at the facility, even on the day of your event.
The 2 stars is for the manager present at the Plex, Jose, and the kitchen staff that were amazing and went out of their way to make the experience unforgettable. The event manager, Isabel Mendoza, took 1 week to answer our questions and book the event. We had to leave several emails and phone calls before she answered us. On the say of the event. I got texts and calls from family and friends that their kids were sick with Covid, and as a result, only 8 out of 20 kids showed up. The staff told me that I had to call Isabel on Monday since she is off Saturday and Sunday and she is not even at the facility. I called on Monday and told her what happened and to give us a bit of a break since this was an unforseen event that happened, and she told me she would call me back. I had to call her myself on Wednesday, and she said she spoke with someone and she could not do anything, which is so absurd. Therefore, we would still go to the Plex but we would not reserve any events here anymore.
