My studio is the only truly private studio located in San Diego the heart of San Diego Kearny Mesa. I specialize in helping my clients achieve a healthier lifestyle through building stronger skeletal muscle which in turn creates a better quality of life. If fat loss is your goal I also assist in proper eating to help you shed those unwanted pounds. Come on in for a butt-kicking 30-minute sessions or if you're more the intermediate and just looking for more instruction on how to build certain muscle groups, I'll be glad to teach you tried and true moves to get you where you desire.

I have been working with Wes for over 2 months virtually. I have seen a great difference in my capabilities regarding the exercises I can do. I am building muscle and am watching myself become a healthier person. He incorporates great exercises no matter what equipment you have. He's great with improvising especially if you are traveling :-). I have talked about getting a personal trainer for years and I finally did it. I'm so happy I found Wes!

I had been looking for a personal trainer to get rid of the COVID weight and get active again early this year. I found The SilverBack Club online and I've been working with Coach Wes for a couple months now! He keeps his facility clean and cool, and he truly cares about your safety. Workouts are challenging but they are efficient and effective. Coach Wes also takes great pride in what he does and it's reflected in our sessions and how he takes care of his facility. I also appreciate his ability to train online — I was on vacation recently but we still got to put in the work. Get a consultation with Coach Wes if you're looking for a personal trainer! Thank you Wes, for giving me back my health and life. I was heading toward a dark place because of my pain and weakness with my legs, core, everything ! Now I feel strong, both mentally and physically!
With all that’s going on in the world today that can really bring you down, being mentally strong is as important as physical strength. Getting mentally strong through exercise releases the natural endorphins for a natural positive feeling that is so much better than popping a pill!

I’ve worked out with multiple trainers over the years and was either bored or felt unchallenged by the same routines or machines I could use by myself in the gym.
So many pounds later, very weak (had to lift my legs to get into the car and pull myself up steps via the handrails) combined with Achille tendon injuries I found Wes. Fast forward three months: completely healed Achilles’ tendons with no need of PRP injections, can walk up the stairs without use of hand rails and energy for days!
I am sticking to this great program as I love
the challenges, the variety of exercises and I know that muscle is screaming to come out!!
I’m 61 and have more energy than I’ve had in ten years!

I’ve been training with Wes for only a short time now, but believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers in town. I train a few days a week with him and he even trains my young daughter once a week as well. We really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions.
Wes is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging, but not so difficult I can’t move the next day. My fitness has increased noticeably in a short time and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I've been getting personal training at the Silverback Club for a while now and am finally on the road back to being fit. I have been working out with Wes for about a year now and we have trained at a few different locations. I was happy to hear he was able to get his own place especially since I think this is the best spot yet! It is easy to get to and parking is readily available. The private environment is perfect for focused one on one training but also spacious enough for group sessions. In fact, my girlfriend has joined me several times since Wes moved to this location and we look forward to it every week!
