I started taking classes at the stage a few months ago and it has become a second home for me. I could not recommend the stage more - every instructor I’ve taken a class with has been so kind, helpful, accepting, and has also pushed me - I’ve made SO much progress in such a short amount of time. I’ve taken many of the classes here, and I couldn’t tell you what is my favorite because they are all so incredible. Being a part of this community has been empowering, and is always the highlight of my week!

I had a great time taking the pole and aerial intro classes. I'm an experienced beginner in pole so I came with a little bit of experience l. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. All of the classes I went to were a blast...except for one. There was one instructor who was incredibly rude to me after I tried to explain I wasn't brand new to pole. She spent the first 20 minutes of class talking about herself and was visibly put off by me joining class when I was the only one she didn't know. The classes are not cheap,
so the waste of time and lack of welcome felt wrong. Ive been to several studios and have had many instructors and have never been picked on like this instructor. She nit picked me during the class and would not let me attempt more difficult variations of the trick but allowed other students to do so. She rudely explained it was because she didn't know me. Her treatment ruined my experience at the stage and I tried to push through some more classes but it put me off so bad I haven't returned. I kept thinking about this so I felt it was time to leave my review.

This is a very close knit studio. They have a family vibe but it is cliquey. It's hard to break through as a new person. Its just something to be aware of if you are a shy person or are trying to build confidence in movement. I felt insecure here after this instructor & no one spoke up for me. I would either try this place with patience or go somewhere else that is more client centered.

The classes are really fun and the instructors really know their craft & teach people in a way that helps keep them from injuries as much as possible. It's a fun and great place. My experience was probably an anomaly but it did happen and this is how I feel.

Love it here! I had my first intro to pole class on 1/7 with Latriza, and had such a great time. She’s a wonderful instructor and overall this studio has such a welcoming atmosphere. So excited to keep learning pole here.

They have a wonderful group of talented teachers with fun energy. We love the diverse range of classes that make working out fun. Aerial, pole, mixed apparatus classes are all fun comfortable and just intense enough.

My favorite place to learn aerial and pole! The teachers are awesome here, we have a lot of fun in class and they offer privates for fitness, aerial or even yoga therapy. They even have coaching if you ever want to perform on stage in their shows or at Artwalk. During the Pomona Artwalks they have a live band and dancers on pole and aerial. Its fun to watch them all on stage, it makes you wanna dance with them!

The Stage is an amazing studio! Lots of fun classes that are great for beginners. They have pole dance, aerial yoga, aerial fabrics and lyra, flexibility and conditioning classes and lots of great workshops. You can also train to perform in their theatrical productions! Its nice to see a movement space so welcoming and encouraging for everyone, no matter what background or age. I love this place!

It is so great to have a place to learn aerial arts and practice yoga and get an amazing workout. There are also many great workshops offered by various herbalists, middle eastern drummers and performers. Safety is very important to all of the instructors and that is so necessary for aerial and any fitness class. Also keep an eye out for the amazing shows held here throughout the year. There are classes for everyone : aerial yoga, lyra hoop, hammock, pole, flexibility, yoga and belly dancing.
