Let me start by saying that I don’t generally write reviews. I’m writing this one because I believe anyone seeking a place to workout would not go wrong with The Studio. The coaches are knowledgeable and will modify any workout to accommodate the members’ needs and abilities. The workouts are challenging but no pressure to go beyond your limits. The coaches foster a community among the members who are friendly and encourage each other to do their best. I highly recommend the Studio!

If you’re wondering if you should come give this gym a try….this is your sign to do it! I’ve been a member of The Studio for 7 years and I love it so much I introduced my mom to this wonderful place. The trainers are all so knowledgeable, patient, friendly, & truly so encouraging. They breakdown every workout & offer modifications when needed to accommodate whatever skill level you’re currently at. I absolutely love this gym! I’ve never belonged to a gym before and I feel like it’s more of a special community than anything. The trainers have helped me grow stronger than I ever thought possible. I have loved going to the Studio for the past 5 years and continue to love it. I was a little nervous when Persistence Culture partnered with The Studio as I am definitely not a person that fits what the stereotypical CrossFit mold is… I’m 40, a little fluffy and honestly just there to move my body and not compete to lift the heaviest or do the most reps. I have been pleasantly surprised at how seamlessly the two gyms have come together and the stereotype I had in my mind has been debunked. I have thoroughly enjoyed the trainers, programming and new members that came along with Persistence Culture. There is a place here for people of all fitness levels with add on’s and modifications tailored to each person’s ability. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

A wonderful place to workout, whether you are new to working out or have been doing it for years. All workouts are challenging no matter what your skill level is. The coaches are very nice and motivating. They take the time to make sure you are doing the workout in proper form so no one gets injured. The studio is a friendly environment to workout in.

I really enjoy attending The Studio Powered by Persistence Culture. The coaches are knowledgeable, skilled, and incredibly accommodating. They take the time to understand your fitness level and goals, and they offer modifications to ensure everyone can participate and progress. I have an unstable knee, but the coaches have been able to offer modifications that allow me to participate fully in the workouts. I like the motivating atmosphere of the group sessions. Working with a supportive group brings out my best effort. I always leave the session feeling motivated and refreshed.

I have been attending The Studio Powered by Persistence Culture for two years now. The gym provides varied and challenging workouts that deliver a cardiovascular workout together with a weight-based resistance training workout. The coaches are very accommodating and offer modifications for beginners. I can push much harder during these workouts due to the coaching, the music, and the small group camaraderie. I have learned new exercises and feel more confident working with kettlebells and barbells. The coaches are fun and inspiring. The facility has excellent airflow due to the warehouse setting with high ceilings and a roll-up door open during workouts.

The Studio is a special space. Coming from a cardio based fitness background I was intimidated by the idea of CrossFit and HIIT strength training. I was pleasantly very surprised to see how much the trainers plan and implement a program for all abilities and fitness goals. The focus on mobility has been a huge game changer for me. I cannot recommend The Studio enough for anyone looking for a driven and welcoming fitness community!

The studio has been a great way to get in different types of workout I wouldn’t normally do. The coaching is excellent and they will work with you to address any concerns or specific areas you would like to address. They will answer any questions you may have and also help modify workouts for you if you have trouble doing a certain set. The classes are a good mix of functional strength training and cardio. My mobility and overall level of fitness has greatly increased over the last year!

Incredibly encouraging, motivating, and non judgmental staff! I love that they provide modifications, so you can feel comfortable knowing you can get through the workout and dial up or down the intensity as needed.
The coaches and members motivate and push you to do your best, push your limits, and you definitely see the results follow with consistency!

I joined The Studio in August after being at a few different places (regular gym, CrossFit, CrossFit hybrid). I was looking for a place that was inclusive of all ages, ability levels and most importantly a place that allows and welcomes modifications to workouts. The Studio has allowed me to not only work on my physical health but my emotional as well. I get a good workout in and leave feeling better about myself. I feel zero body shaming when I go in and as long as you keep moving things are good … there is no shame if you need to modify something and there is no listing your name on a board if you do not finish a workout (like I experienced previously).

The Studio is the absolute best. It has far surpassed all expectations I’ve ever had of what working out can be. The owner Helya and all of the trainers are amazing. They offer a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of exercise and health and truly care about each and every person there. The workouts are always different and test your strength, stamina, and mobility like nowhere I’ve trained before. I hesitate to call The Studio a gym because it's much more than that. Apart from getting a great workout, classes are designed with a methodology to build from previous day/week classes. The Studio is pre-hab, rehab and phenomenal conditioning wrapped in one. The instructors have a deep understanding of body mechanics, are kind, professional and have a sincere dedication for the improvement of their clients' overall health and well-being.

The Studio ha been a game changer for my fitness! This gym is the whole package; awesome coaching, focus on strength and cardio but also mobility, mental wellbeing and nutrition which really helps address whatever you are looking for in terms of a wellness/fitness journey. I was really in an exercise funk before I tried the Studio last Winter and I have been hooked ever since. The variety makes it so workouts are always challenging and you never get bored of the same activity. I have been a member of The Studio for almost 6 years. The Studio is so much more than a gym, it is a community of people who are supportive and loving and who push each other the be the best.
The trainers are beyond amazing. They will keep an eye on you to ensure that you have the proper form to prevent injury and they will push you to do just a little more to get the best out of your workout. They learn who everyone is, so after just a class or two you will be known by your name which is always a great feeling.
The biggest thing right now is how The Studio has reacted through the pandemic. The Studio has pivoted gracefully into doing everything possible to keep the members and the trainers safe. They are currently open for in-person classes at a very limited capacity, so sign-up in advance! But they also offer a ton of amazing home workouts via zoom or recorded videos that can be done at any time. All of the trainers are still available for questions and you can still do personal training either in person or via zoom.
The owner of The Studio, Helya, is the most amazing person. She has so much knowledge in fitness and nutrition and she works with her members in any capacity they need to get healthy. It isn’t a focus on “weight loss” because there is so much more to being healthy than just the number on the scale. She wants us to make lifestyle changes, not do crash diets and extreme workouts that can ultimately do more harm than good. Helya has a heart of gold and is truly the best.

I drive from two towns away to attend classes at The Studio ... the town I live in has plenty of gyms, but I tried them all, and nothing compares. My favorite part is that the emphasis isn’t on aesthetics, it’s on getting stronger so you can be better at the things you love to do (surfing, rock climbing, swimming, running after your kiddos at the park, etc.) outside of the gym. Run—don’t walk—to your first free class.

I heard about this gym from a friend and decided to check it out. From day one I was impressed with all the coaches and how knowledgeable they are. I like that workouts challenge you and change daily so you get a different workout every time you go.
Update - I have now been with The Studio for about a year now and I have to say that I do not regret joining this gym. Helya and her coaching staff are amazing they have all done an excellent job of providing some kind of workout options for the members during this pandemic. I look forward to this next year and what is to come.

The Studio has been amazing during Covid and adopted many safe ways of continuing to teach, train and offer classes. I am able to feel connected even from a distance. This is a great place for anyone to overcome gym anxiety or workout anxiety. I highly recommend taking personal training as well. I absolutely love it here! My friend, Aracely, actually had invited me to one of their outdoor workouts at the beach. And it was so much fun! Helya and everyone else was very welcoming + friendly.
It's been awhile since I've joined group workouts like these. And it definitely brought back good memories when I used to be actively training.
You could definitely sense that this place isn't just any other regular gym place. It has that family vibe, which is why I kept coming back for their group workouts!

I visited this gym to try it out in December and then I joined a January fItness challenge there. After 25+ classes, I can say it’s the best gym I’ve visited. The classes are small and there’s so much support to help you wherever you are on your own fitness journey. There’s a wonderful, supportive community of members and teachers. I’ve been taught the proper form for all the workouts and given direct feedback on my progress. HIIT classes are never boring because the activities rotate and they’re designed to target all your muscle groups so it’s a total workout. Helya and her teachers truly care about their members as people!

I've been a member at other "traditional" gyms and I never really felt comfortable, especially with strength training equipment. Since training at The Studio, I have become more comfortable with working out and the equipment, and it is all due to the trainers -- their expertise and dedication to each member! There is also a real family feel with the members and everyone supports and encourages each other! The Studio is more than a gym...with the individual attention, the various challenges, and the encouragement on a personal level, you can't help but reach (and exceed) your goals!! I am on a life-long journey to becoming the healthiest and strongest I have ever been, and I am very thankful to Helya, the other trainers, and my peers for helping me get to where I want to be!!

I am new to weightlifting. Although I am an athlete and am active, I typically hate gyms, and hate working out indoors! I tried out a free class at The Studio, and have been coming for 2 months now. I love working out at the Studio. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable. The community is supportive, positive and fun. There is absolutely no way I could go to an old school gym and get the same level of workout that I get everyday at the Studio and I have been working out for a long time. This gym will push you at your level. It doesn’t matter if you are a competitive athlete, a senior citizen or a weekend warrior like myself.
The trainers will teach you to move correctly so you don’t get hurt. I have learned so much about strength training and mobility since I started there. I learned how to deadlift correctly, square correctly, swing a kettlebell correctly, eat correctly and many other things.
I would recommend the Studio to anyone that wants to change their lifestyle or improve their athletic performance.

The Studio is fantastic! I have been struggling with weight loss & my health for most of my life. I have never before been able to loss weight the healthy way. Since joining The Studio I am down 30lbs & stronger than I have ever been. Helya and her team make working out fun & engaging - not to mention a killer workout. They make each class work for all levels of your fitness journey. They are able to push you to do things you never thought you could in a very supportive way. I was first introduced to The Studio at a free beach boot camp they were offering one Saturday. I had been regularly going to a variety of group fitness classes at a major chain gym for years, but The Studio’s boot camp kicked my butt… hard! I immediately took advantage of their free trial week and bought a Groupon so that I could try EVERY class they offered and compare it to those I was taking at my regular gym. There was no comparison! I wasn't being challenged at my old gym, and it was refreshing to take classes that were fun, intense, and that played good music! I’ve been hooked ever since!
Another thing that sold me on The Studio was that they offered 6am and 5:30pm classes daily. Although there are other classes at other times too, the continuity of their schedule made planning to get the gym easy. Getting up for a 6am class every day has become a habit and something I crave, not something I dread.
I also love the variety of classes and instructors. I had never experienced HIIT, MostFit Drench, Kettlebells, or PiYo before coming to The Studio, and I’m pretty much hooked on all of them now. There really isn't a class I don’t like at The Studio. I forced my sister to come with me to one class here and now she’s a member too! I would recommend The Studio to anyone who loves group classes, wants a challenging workout, and would prefer a friendlier environment than that of the big corporate gyms.

I started at the Studio about a year ago and did the week free trial. This was a great way for me to check out all of their classes and get a feel for their fitness style. Their classes were not over packed like some of the large chain gyms, which made me feel very comfortable. I love that I don't feel judged and feel free to go at my own pace and try to challenge myself. The instructors are supportive and give modification suggestions if needed. I also enjoy the variety of different style classes they offer so it never gets boring and is always challenging.
I have never been the most athletic person, and have joined gyms in the past and been consistent for a couple weeks, but then stop going mainly because I didn't feel comfortable at them. At The Studio, I have now been going 5 days a week consistently for the last year and I have seen so many improvements!
I highly suggest taking them up on their offer of a Free Week and see if you become addicted like I did! The owners truly have your health and fitness as a top priority and it shows in the way the conduct business at The Studio.
