I worked with Francisco one year postpartum, to hold myself accountable to working out and start building back strength and muscle. He was very kind in accommodating my unpredictable schedule as a mom, and he helped me work on my target areas, including my weak glutes (“mom butt”).By the end of our sessions, he’d provided me with various exercises to continue doing at home, he’d improved my posture tremendously (to combat the stresses of carrying a 1-year-old all day), and the best part is that he’d helped me gain my butt back! My wife and I have been working out with Francisco (couples training) for over three years now. We're in our forties, so our goals are functional fitness, injury prevention, and keeping up with our kids. Francisco designs our workouts with that in mind, adjusting the routine to keep things fresh, reducing load when we're feeling off, challenging us and cheering us on.

We're in far better shape now than before we started. It's obvious everywhere - not just how many pounds and reps we can handle. I used to have lower back pain in the mornings, so I complained to Francisco and he helped me focus on building up the right muscles. The pain's been gone for years now. We have more stamina for skiing and hiking, less desire to drink or stay too up to late. We're picking up extra exercise habits outside the gym like rowing and yoga.

Couples training has worked really well too. We motivate each other to make it on time. We have pretty different body types and workouts, and Francisco keeps up with us in parallel. He has our equipment ready, makes sure we're following the proper form, and stays engaged the whole time. Sometimes we have to bring our kids and Francisco gives them a nice space to hang out while we exercise.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I have been training as a couple with Francisco since the beginning on Dec. 2024. We both went into this with the intention of getting healthier since we were both over 50. A few reasons for me was: starting menopause, weight gain, trouble sleeping, joint pain and feeling tired during the day. Francisco not only is a knowledgeable trainer but he Listens to his clients. Both my husband and I had joint problems and prior injuries. Francisco acknowledged all our concerns and worked with us to come up with appropriate stretches, exercises, and understanding our diet to help alleviate our issues, strength our bodies and improve our flexibility. Fast forward to Nov. 2025. I am super happy to say that I personally have lost almost 30lbs, gained definition and feel amazing. If you can give yourself any gift, give yourself the opportunity to train with Francisco. The road to good health is not an easy pill you can buy but with your hard work, a little sweat, and Francisco Nieves you can make an amazing difference.

I’d never set foot in a gym or lifted weights, other than some 3 lb dumbbells for physical therapy. I’d never been into exercise for exercise’s sake, but 2 kids and remote work had turned me into a middle aged potato, and I just didn’t want to feel weak and out of shape anymore. I signed my husband and I up for duos sessions with Francisco less than 6 months ago and the change in my body, energy levels and mood have been incredible. Francisco spends the full hour with us each time zipping back and forth, tailoring the workouts to our ability and energy. He always checks our form and adjusts for injuries. He switches up the workouts all the time so it’s never boring, always challenging. He will also teach you how to work the same parts with simple home equipment, and helps you feel confident using gym equipment anywhere you go. As others have said he’s fun to chat with and keeps his well equipped studio spotless. This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever given myself!

I started training with Francisco a few months ago with the goal to get fit and healthy. The timing just so happened to also coincide with my upcoming wedding.

Francisco is very knowledgable and also knows what types of exercises to do to target specific areas of the body. He knows the right balance of providing you with challenging exercises, but also reminding you to listen to your body. He is also great about making sure you are doing things in the correct form to prevent any sort of injury.

After just a few weeks of training and staying disciplined with my diet, I was feeling stronger and seeing changes in my muscle mass. Even now, I am still seeing changes and look forward to seeing even more progress as I continue with my training. I always look forward to my weekly sessions with Francisco. His positive and encouraging attitude helps you stay motivated and focused. It also makes training fun, even when it's challenging!

Francisco has a good heart and it shows in the way he puts so much care and effort into helping his clients get strong and be their best. He expects his clients to work hard outside of sessions with him and rightfully so. He gives you the tools, but it's ultimately your choice how you want to use them. I’ve been training with Francisco twice a week for a year now, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
