Just took a class with Vanessa at The Weight Room in Costa Mesa and it was fantastic. One of the things I really appreciated was the smaller class size—it created a more focused environment that allowed for intentional movement and better overall form. Vanessa was super attentive, offering personalized corrections and adjustments throughout, which made a huge difference. Despite the more intimate setup, the energy stayed high the entire time. It struck a perfect balance between intensity and mindful training. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a class that prioritizes both form and fire.

The Weight Room has reignited my love for weightlifting!
I haven’t participated or engaged in weightlifting since Covid, because I was bored, burned out, and had no idea how to train. Knowing that lifting heavy weight is critical for longevity, health, and overall wellness I leaned into various podcast for direction. Raquel shared her guest spot on Your Ultimate Comeback, so I listened. I was very impressed with Brads approach to fitness, nutrition, and especially weightlifting for women!
I did personal training with Brad to ease back in and now I’m attending classes. Brad definitely found trainers that posses so much knowledge, passion, energy, and patience. Jared’s energy is contagious, his coaching/guidance is professional and fun!!! Daisy is incredible, her energy makes the work out fun, informative, and kick ass. Vanessa is amazing, her knowledge and attention to detail is so beneficial and she really cares!!!!
I’m so glad I invested in myself and that I found The Weight Room!

The Weight Room is an incredible place to work out. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing. The workouts are fantastic, and the coaches are not only extremely knowledgeable but also attentive, helping you become stronger in a supportive and positive environment. I participate in the small group classes, and even though they're structured, the trainers tailor their guidance to suit your individual capabilities and goals. After four months as a member, I’ve never felt better. I’ve finally found a fun and engaging space to work out that is perfectly aligned with my personal objectives. I highly recommend TWR!

The Weight Room is an exceptional gym for anyone interested in weightlifting and strength training. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a motivating atmosphere filled with like-minded individuals. Jared, Jay, and Brad are incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready to offer their expertise. Jared’s energy in the morning classes is unmatched and he continually challenges each member to reach their personal best. One of the standout features is the personalized approach. I specifically trained for a half marathon and Hyrox race earlier this year and Jay created an individualized training plan and macro guide to help me excel in these races. The trainers are genuinely invested in helping you achieve your goals. Starting my mornings at The Weight Room is my favorite part of my day and I can’t recommend this gym enough.

Coming to The Weight Room has been life changing. I have been coming here since it started and I have never had the motivation to come to a 5am class multiple times a week until starting at this gym. The trainers are very knowledgeable and are always aware and correcting (if needed) position to prevent injuries. This place helps in the journey of getting stronger without injury. This isn’t a fad workout place, they back up their knowledge with science- based studies knowing what works best to burn fat and gain muscle. They helped me achieve my goals of losing all my pregnancy weight and getting back down to my goal… now helping me stay active and modifying certain moves during my current pregnancy. I am in my third trimester now and feel that I am going to be able to keep coming up until the day before labor. I’m also excited knowing that getting this pregnancy weight off will be even easier coming to The Weight Room. Not to mention, the other members and trainers are now like family, I never feel awkward or out of place.

If you are looking for a weight lifting/strength training program that mimics professional and college athletic programs then this is the place for you. The Team puts together 3 week training programs that focus on full body workouts while balancing muscle/joint stability and flexibility. I’ve gotten better muscle strength/growth and results over the past year+ than I ever did with other programs or HITT classes. The whole training Team is knowledgeable and can tailor exercises to your specific needs or past injuries. The small group training provides an intimate and comfortable setting that has allowed me to reach new personal bests all while minimizing injury. These guys are at the forefront of class style strength training.

Cannot say enough great things about The Weight Room! Took a chance and followed Jared over here more than a year ago, and in turn have seen results my body hasn’t seen since my college softball days. The thoughtfulness of the phases and exercises, combined with specialized nutrition assistance has been vital. The small class setting is fun and it still feels very personalized. Brad, Jay and Jared really care and want every member to feel welcomed and comfortable. I look forward to going every morning I am signed up!

I came to the TWR with cortisol and hormonal issues. The workouts I used to do just made me exhausted and I was gaining weight. Since I have been doing strength classes here, I feel so much better. I am getting stronger and feel like my body is responding so well. All of the trainers are so motivating, they push me when needed but also knowledgeable about when need to modify an exercise. I’m so glad that I found this gym!

The Weight Room Costa Mesa has changed my mornings. Brad, Jay and Jared are not only some of my favorite humans, but the program they have built has made me physically and emotionally stronger. My body was no longer responding to HIIT workouts. TWR was designed to challenge you, without sending your cortisol levels through the roof. Waking up with like minded individuals, pushing my body in a healthy way and having fun while doing it has never been easier!

I've been working out at The Weight Room for the past year, and the improvement in my fitness has been amazing, especially when it comes to my jiu jitsu training. The combination of strength training and conditioning exercises has made me much stronger on the mats, and I’ve noticed a significant boost in my overall performance and endurance during rolling sessions.
The trainers at The Weight Room really know their stuff. They’ve tailored some of the my workouts to target areas that complement my jiu jitsu, like grip strength, core stability, and explosive power. The variety of equipment and supportive environment keep me motivated and always striving for progress.
If you're looking for a gym that can help you get stronger for martial arts or any other sport, I highly recommend The Weight Room. It's made a huge difference in my strength and stamina, both in the gym and on the mats.

The Weight Room has been absolutely life changing in this last year! The small group classes are the perfect balance of personal and group training. The program design is unlike any other gym I’ve been apart of. This last year has shown me that it isn’t endless amounts of cardio that is going to change my body composition, but rather compound exercises, heavy weights, and repetitive movements. I’ve found strength in myself that I truly never thought possible before. Aside from the actual workouts, the men behind The Weight Room truly care about their clients well being. So much so, that they include personalized nutrition for clients and work closely with you on your macros to hit your specific goals. Got injuries or ailments, they’ve got remedies for that too! All that & the fun loving energy that comes with it, you literally can’t beat it. If you’re looking to level up your fitness, or just your life in general, The Weight Room is the place to be!

Since becoming a member at the Weight Room, I have gotten in the best shape of my life. The classes lead by Jared are structured perfectly to provide the optimal experience for beginners to advanced lifters and most importantly are so fun, motivating and high energy that you’ll never want to miss a session. Brad and Jay take a truly personalized approach when it comes to programing and providing an individualized nutrition plan.
