I started with ClassPass, and after trying The Yoga Barre Del Mar, I had no interest in any other studios! The instructors are amazing, there are a variety of classes and times to choose from, the location is great, and the overall vibe of the community is welcoming, friendly, and supportive. So glad I found this studio! Nicole has created a beautiful environment to invest in well-being. Very grateful!

My Unlimited membership at Yoga Barre has truly transformed my life this year. I started out committed to improving my health after moving too little for decades, and I’m so glad I found this studio.

I started slow and quickly got addicted… to the infrared heated room, the vibrant classes taught by phenomenal teachers, the ocean breeze cooling me down post class, and of course the incredible studio high vibe!

I reconnected with old friends and made new ones, too. Thank you, Nicole and the entire Yoga Barre team, for bringing your magic to Del Mar! I am stronger, healthier, happier and extremely grateful to be a part of this growing community.

The Yoga Barre is more than a studio — it’s a soul sanctuary.

Every time I walk through the doors, I feel lighter, more grounded, more alive. Whether you're dropping in or practicing regularly, The Yoga Barre offers something truly special — but being a monthly member has allowed me to really immerse in it. The rhythm of returning multiple times each week has deepened my practice in ways I didn’t expect. It’s a rhythm I crave.

What makes the membership so meaningful is the ability to learn from so many instructors — each with their own style, specialty, and magic. No two classes are the same, and together, they’ve helped me grow in every dimension of my practice.

Nicole, the owner (and self-proclaimed resident DJ), is pure fire. Her classes feel like yoga meets the desert at Burning Man — music-driven, powerful, unforgettable. Whether it’s Barre Flow, Power Flow, or Yoga Sculpt, you don’t just move — you ignite.

Katrina moves like water — rhythmic, fluid, and strong. Her Barre Flow and Heated Flow are musically aligned and masterfully sequenced. With a ballet background, I especially love how her Barre Flow blends ballet, Pilates, and yoga into something elegant and fierce. Every class with her feels both grounded and transcendent — a dance between strength and surrender.

Kekoa is a beautiful light. Her calm presence and soulful music create powerful, grounding classes. Saturday mornings with her are the most nourishing start to the weekend.

Meagan’s Wednesday morning classes are pure release. Her tribal and EDM-inspired playlists awaken something primal and freeing — the kind of flow where you feel energy moving through and out of you. I always leave her class feeling light, expansive, and completely reset.

Macy C. has contagious positive energy that lights up the room. Her upbeat, vibrant presence and music-driven Sculpt classes are motivating, empowering, and fun — every class feels expansive and full of joy.

Madeline’s Candlelight Slow Flow is a ceremony of presence — breath-centered, musical, and meditative. Her Thursday night class is a soft, sacred ritual I return to again and again.

Mel brings warm, maternal energy. Her Friday flows are grounding, healing, and offer thoughtful adjustments. It’s the perfect way to close a week. (And knowing she’s Kekoa’s mom adds to the love this space holds.)

Tesia’s Tuesday morning classes have become a ritual. Her calm confidence, musicality, and steady sequencing align the body and mind beautifully.

Natalie brings radiant calm to Barre Flow, Yoga Sculpt, and Slow Flow. Whether strong or slow, her classes are uplifting, balanced, and intentional.

Jasmine leads Yoga Sculpt and Flow with strength and grace. She’s hands-on and thoughtful, and her music lifts every moment.

The music across this studio is its own magic. From artists like RY X, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Parra for Cuva, and ODESZA to dance beats in Sculpt and Barre, the playlists pulse with movement and breath.

Each class is a meditation in motion. Whether sculpt, stretch, or heated flow, I leave feeling present and whole. The variety of styles and energies is part of the magic.

Over time, I’ve found a rhythm — energizing mornings, restorative evenings. It’s become part of my gratitude practice — a space to return to presence, breath, and body.

The setting, perched above the ocean in Del Mar Plaza, is breathtaking. Morning light or sunset after class — it’s always a full-body exhale. (And free parking for monthly members makes it easy to commit.)

They also offer occasional Restorative Sound Baths with sound healer Natacha Pavan — a beautiful complement to the physical practice.

There are still a few instructors I haven’t had the joy of practicing with yet, but I know they’ll bring just as much heart. Nicole has created something rare — a space alive with music, movement, and soul. The energy she’s cultivated through this community is magnetic, healing, and unforgettable.

She’s built more than a studio. It’s a sanctuary.

I don’t go out of routine — I go because my soul craves it.

I come here at least one to two times a week and always love the energy. Kekoa is always on point with her music, flow and messaging.... also doesn't hurt that her voice is very soothing. 10 out of 5 stars. Stop in here and check it out yourself.

The owner, Nicole, is so kind, flexible, and supportive. She seems to really cultivate an environment where everyone feels like they are welcome and belong. So many other yoga studios are strict and treat you like a “just a number,” but all my interactions with Yoga Barre have been personal and accommodating. That’s rare these days, so this studio feels like a gem.

Yoga Baree is a fantastic addition to Del Mar!
Opened less than a year ago, this studio has already become a favorite. Scheduling classes online is super convenient, though it's worth noting that some classes do sell out—which is actually a good sign. It means sessions aren’t overcrowded, unlike many other studios. They offer a great variety of classes, and every instructor I’ve had has been excellent. The studio is located on the upper level of the Plaza, right in the heart of Del Mar—easy to find and a lovely space to practice in. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience in Nicole’s Vinyasa Yoga Flow class at The Yoga Barre, Del Mar. As a beginner, I was a bit nervous, but Nicole’s clear guidance and calming presence made me feel completely at ease. She explained each movement in a way that was easy to follow and offered modifications that helped me stay comfortable while still challenging myself. The class had a great balance of breathwork, movement, and relaxation, leaving me feeling refreshed and energized.

What stood out most was how Nicole’s instructor culture resonates through her students, creating a supportive and welcoming environment and a positive vibe. The more experienced students were just as encouraging, making it easy to find my rhythm without feeling out of place. This sense of community allows for a well-balanced class where both beginners and advanced practitioners can thrive. I left feeling stronger, more centered, and excited to continue my yoga journey. I highly recommend her class to anyone looking for a truly inclusive and uplifting yoga experience!

Jacely leads her yoga sessions with relaxing house music, which matches the flow of the workout/session. She wraps up with self-love affirmations, which is a great way to start or end your day. I recommend to join her class.

Yoga Barre Del Mar is in an exquisitely built-out studio up top at the Plaza Del Mar with breathtaking panoramic ocean views! The studio itself is brand new with a bright airy feel in the lobby accented with deep turquoise/almost teal comfy chairs and details. The Yoga Barre room is large with heat and fairly dark deep blue lighting that fits the mood while you practice. I've had multiple instructors here and have had top notch experiences with everyone on the team. They are all encouraging for all fitness levels and incorporate gentle and uplifting messages throughout the sessions. Also, Yoga Barre is a small local female owned operation and the owner, Nicole Moran, truly cares about uplifting and inspiring our special community, and I like knowing that I am supporting local business whenever possible.
