I've been going to Title boxing gym for two years. I love it. I get a great work out and learn practical self-defense skills. The trainers are knowledgeable, show you what works and give you individual attention when needed. They recently got a new owner and it feels like an upgrade. There was a billing issue from the prior owners, the new owner fixed it quickly.

Great gym. Manny at the front was friendly and coach Gio is encouraging and attentive. They place a lot of emphasis on good form and posture so I feel confident going hard knowing that I won’t hurt myself. I’ll come back and tell my friends about this place too!

Membership billing is confusing. I had questions about charges and customer service took several days to respond. Clearer invoices and faster support would help.

My husband & I had a great experience yesterday at Title Boxing club in Mountain View, CA. We tried out a boxing class there and loved it! It was very well organized and the boxing club was very clean. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Manny and Shannon were so welcoming and helpful to us. We will definitely be back again!

Title Boxing was a wonderful experience for our whole family. Manny was so kind and welcoming to my wife and son, which really made us feel at home. Shannon and Mike are outstanding trainersβ€”full of energy, encouragement, and skill. The workouts are challenging but fun, and they take the time to make sure everyone, from beginners to more experienced boxers, gets the most out of each session. It’s not just a great workout, it’s a supportive and family-friendly environment where you feel motivated to keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Amazing resistance training in the form of boxing. I prefer boxing to work on my upper body and cardio. It helps balance my weekly goals. Perfect workout for calories burning. Your first class is free to try Title boxing workout. Trainers are amazing and they help you with punches, footwork and movements.

The consistent structure of the classes gives make it easy for me to see personal progress. Each instructor has their own style which can often give me insight into a new way to approach a particular punch or combo. It also incentivizes me to push myself in a way I would not on my own.

The reception was pretty rude. I was late 20min due to a car accident on my way here that slowed down the traffic, and they seem to be unnecessarily adhering to arbitrary rules (for example you need to be early 20mins if it is your first time, even though I have explained the situation and mentioned this is not my first time doing boxing). This does not happen with other gyms like Rumble, but Palo Alto location unfortunately closed. Will not ever come to this chain again. Will switch to Rumble Sunnyvale.

It is clearly not due to conscience but the stubbornness to adhere to unnecessary rules; even if the comment/reply was sincere, I see a bigger problem of lack of boundaries- this is not kindergarten and customers are not children. This is a boxing gym providing business services to paid customers. The business could certainly keep doing what it does, but customers will leave as customers have choices.

I have been going to Title since 2022!!! I fell in love with it because it's a great stress buster! When I'm stressed out, I know I can let it out in the bag- let it RIPPP! It gets me energetic before a 12h shift, yes I'm tired and out of breath during the class but what a rush of endorphins and serotonin after! Tom and Eber always cheers me on helping me through round 8! The coaches give great form/posture techniques, i still learn from them! Btw, the hand wraps come in various colours, it's fun to match my workout clothes with it! Don't be intimidated, come hit with me! See you there :)

Got my start boxing here! The coaches are friendly & welcoming and provide helpful feedback on your form to keep you injury-free.

For anyone looking for a new high-intensity workout to add to their regimen, boxing is hard to beat. It's a great full-body work-out to build strength, explosiveness, and endurance.

No culty vibes, red lights, or bad EDM remixes. Would recommend.

Staff was incredibly rude. Despite being 15 minutes early to class, we were told we were β€œlate” and not allowed into the class because newcomers needed to arrive 30 minutes early. (This was not communicated to us on signing up for the class.) we had brought our own wraps and had taken boxing before so they eventually let us in. The instructor scolded my boyfriend like we were in elementary school and the entire class felt very judge-y. I understand they might not like people who attend thru ClassPass, but if classpassers are such an annoyance to your establishment then why advertise yourselves on the platform to begin with. Boxing was average, so I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

My first day back with Title since last joining back in 2016/2017 in Orlando, FL and another boxing gym I had also joined whilst living in Singapore for a few years.
My first day back was all worth it as customer service from Andrea was superb! Coach Shannon was AH-mazing! The energy she brought was what you want and need to get you through class. Her old school playlists, was what I needed to hear! All the memories from back in the day kept the class going! IYKYK- freestyle songs are the best!!
I immediately joined back with Title and look forward to all the classes I’ll be taking. Thanks coach Shannon for making my first day back after all these years worth coming back!

Title Boxing Club is an exceptional workout that offers a dynamic and engaging experience, especially for those individuals, such as myself, who are tired of traditional cardio like running on a treadmill. The atmosphere is always energetic and motivating, thanks to the supportive and skilled trainers (Jason, Tom, & Eberardo so far) who push you to achieve your best - but the best part is it is up to you to choose the intensity of your workout. The classes are well-structured, catering to all fitness levels, and they provide a fantastic mix of cardio, strength training, and boxing techniques. The facility is clean and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant workout environment. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced boxer, Title Boxing Club delivers an exhilarating and effective workout that leaves you feeling empowered and accomplished. Highly recommended! Best workout in the bay. Prepare to leave the facility with a t shirt that is a completely different shade πŸ˜…

The mandatory ask you to purchase boxing wrap for your first time class. And they don’t have Apple Pay!? Wasting time to spending 20 mins drive there which they ask to give you a 20 mins presentation. Wasting time, they don’t want to give a class to you at all.

Similar as rumble boxing, the classes here are generally more like cardio exercises but would be a little more professional. The trainers would teach you how to do the combo.

Not as clean as rumble boxing. The floor is a little dirty and I suggest you bring your own yoga mat. (You will do core exercises in the final part of the class. )

Didn’t find a place to take a shower.

Bring your own wraps or you can buy them here for $10. ( You can also find same wraps at sports basement for $7)

They didn’t let the first time customer in the class because of not showing up 30 minutes before the class.

I scheduled a Sunday morning class through ClassPass. The class was at 10:30 am and I arrived at 10:25 am. The front desk lady refused to let me in because I didn’t arrive 25-30 minutes earlier to attend their orientation. She said she would put me as β€œno show”. I said if she did that I might get fined by ClassPass, she said that would be the matter between me and ClassPass, she can’t help with that. I also showed my interest of rescheduling the first class and the membership of the gym, she didn’t let me reschedule it and said I already used my first free class pass even though I scheduled the ClassPass and didn’t enter the class. Later I reviewed the policy, it said if you failed to attend the orientation you can reschedule the class, the front desk lady then changed her words saying I can still schedule my first class through ClassPass and she’ll explain to ClassPass that I was just late for the orientation but I was physically there. Interestingly, she did not even ask my name during the whole process, so I wonder how can she clarify my situation in their system. Not validating customer information made me think that she is not professional.

I understand that policy is policy. But her cold, stubborn manner reminds me of DMV… which made me very uncomfortable and I didn’t feel being respected.

This review is just to remind future first time customers to make sure read their policy and email line by line before going to the class, otherwise you might have the same experience as me.

I can't enough good things about Title Boxing at Mountain View. Great group of people. Fabulous trainers. Always an excellent cardio workout. Different routines to keep everyone on their toes. Fellow members are very welcoming. Yes. It is a place to get fit and slim. But it is more. it reminds me of the old time Cheers TV series theme song. "Taking a break from all your worries. Sure would help a lot. Sometimes you wanna go Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came."

Go if u wanna be yelled at

After the punching rounds, I was on the lookout for a mat. I noticed a tall man taking a mat from a room, so I followed suit. However, a rude employee forcefully snatched the mat from my hand, slammed the door shut, and loudly yelled at me, saying, "What are you doing here? This area is for employees only!" I apologized, explaining that I thought it was acceptable since I had seen another customer do the same thing. Nevertheless, she continued yelling, questioning my intentions, and treating me as if I were a thief. At that moment, the instructor stepped in and assured me that it wasn't a big deal. The employee ceased her yelling and handed the mat back to me.

I've never been treated in such a rude manner. As an individual, I choose not to connect this occurrence to my race, age, gender, or any personal characteristics. Instead, I would like to believe that the employee may have been enduring a difficult day. However, it is crucial for the management to ensure that their employees are trained to respect all customers and treat them equally.

I won’t come again even though the instructor and other customers are super nice.

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”updates
Hi Adrienne, I appreciate your quick response. Following the advice of my lawyer, I saw a therapist this morning. Thanks to the instructor’s support and reassurance during the incident, as well as your attentiveness to the matter, I decided not to escalate things any further, so let's consider this matter concluded. Best.

I recently joined and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The entire staff is super friendly and there’s a really inclusive environment. I never thought I’d have fun working out but I end up smiling during and after the class. The workout is definitely full body but easy to tailor for any level of fitness. The punching combinations take a minute to get the hang of but when in doubt, just move your body, you’ll get the hang of it. The class times are convenient for people who work full time. I never thought I'd enjoy a boxing class, but I tried it out when I was feeling especially frustrated and was surprised by the whole-body workout I got. There are people of all body types and abilities, and you do whatever you are able to do. The instructors keep it fun, and there are segments (I think 3 minutes), so you can ease your way through the class a bit at a time. Great for exercise and for working out your frustrations - I can't wait until they can reopen!

I was looking for some place to try boxing and found this one. I checked the schedule and went there.
The front desk told me I wasn’t able to take a class because they only took appointments. I asked her how I was supposed to know that. She said I should’ve checked the website. I asked her to show me on the website. She started to look at her computer. Then someone walked in. She helped that person first. Then she turned to her computer and kept looking. I told her about how my first experience with the studio hasn’t been positive. She told me β€œif that’s what you think, then I’m sorry. And if you don’t want to come back, then don’t.”
She could’ve offered an appt and focused on solving the problem, instead she used many should’ve sentences and not being welcome and helpful at all

Physically, I'm completely destroyed after each workout but mentally, I am ready to go right back into the next workout. Each of the trainers I've worked out with is amazing!

Phelan is a great instructor for beginners like myself! He showed me the punches before class and checked in with me throughout the class to make sure I was able to keep up. Lots of women in the classes made me feel more comfortable, and seeing people of all body shapes and sizes also put me more at ease. Come ready to sweat and have fun!

I love this place so much. All of the trainers, every single one of them, and all of the crew are friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The classes are difficult, but you can go at your own pace, so everyone is able to handle the workout. The club is clean and doesn't stink like some gyms. And, the bottom line is that it's fun to hit stuff, so putting on a pair of boxing gloves and punching a heavy bag is a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

This is a terrific club - very friendly and very well run. They've added more classes since I joined 4 months ago and I've never experienced issues with getting a space. The trainers are top class, provide lots of support, it's a fun group of people and a great workout. I am definitely in better shape

I *loved* the class. I didn't expect to like it as much, but there was a lot of positive energy, and I felt I had a great work out while still having a lot of fun. I liked that we were encouraged to move at our own pace, and I felt I received the right amount of guidance in being able to do the movements decently enough for a beginner. My arms feel good today, like I worked out but not a handicapping soreness. I would change the ab workouts at the end, because they were either too easy or too hard for me. I wonder what a sweet in-between spot would be. I really appreciate how welcomed they made me feel.

I've been to a few classes here and they are all great with fantastic instructors. I'm fairly athletic so I was looking for a class that challenged me, which they do! The instructors are also excellent about challenging you but not pushing you too hard so you end up injuring yourself.

Adrienne is also great - helpful and friendly, but she won't push you will a massive sales pitch. Then again, she doesn't need to! It's easy to commit to coming in.

Absolutely awesome workout! Very challenging, but you're also able to go at your own pace so it's not overwhelming at all. And there's nothing like punching a 100lb bag to relieve some stress. I've been intimidated by other boxing gyms before, but definitely wasn't at Title. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back!

I have been a Title member in my hometown for over a year now and recently dropped in for a class at the Mountain View club. I did a trial kick boxing workout at Title Boxing, and it was great! They really took the time to orient us to the process and taught us some of the moves we'd need to know ahead of time. The class wasn't packed so there was plenty of room and we could easily see the instructor. The facility is clean and appears well-organized. I feel like I got a great workout, but was able to work at my own pace and didn't feel pressure to keep up with others - everyone was focused on their own workout. I look forward to going back soon!

I joined in February 2017, and have been coming in 3-4 times a week since! It's a bit intimidating at first, but you quickly get comfortable with the environment and people. I love that it's a very friendly and encouraging gym where they want you to do your best at your own pace, not anyone else's, but at the same time try to improve! I've tried the normal gym routine, and quickly found out it didn't work for me, so I tried TITLE and immediately signed up for a membership and haven't looked back. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and different kind of workout!
