Highly recommend TNT! I came in intimidated by strength training, and now it's a core part of my weekly routine. I look forward to my workouts with Rikko. It’s my first time working with a personal trainer and I’ve gotten good results from it. In my first 3 months I gained 4 lbs of muscle. It’s also a plus that it’s easy to fit it into my schedule consistently as a working mom because the workouts are so efficient. TNT IS SUPERB! If you are considering strength training, look no further. The team here are EXCELLENT & have an efficient, clear system that works flawlessly!
I train with Rikko, who is THE BEST! Clear,patient and encouraging, especially when I have to go through the not so fun & challenging sets, but guess what? Rikko makes it fun, indulging me when I need a conversation or humor to distract me from dreaded shoulder presses, or cardio bike ( gah!) all whilst pushing me to do my best.
I would dread my first few sessions and now I look forward to them!
I have seen a marked improvement in strength and endurance & can’t thank Rikko enough.
TNT has built a great community & I often say hi to other folks training away ,there’s always great tunes and good vibes.

I don’t give this praise lightly as my bar is pretty high, given that (quite a while) before I was a corporate executive, I was both a personal trainer and fitness club manager…
To me, what sets TNT Strength apart are two things: their commitment to a science-based training approach and their customized training specific to each individual. Each training session is designed to optimize results, utilizing the latest research in exercise science (which I have discussed with Liam on several occasions). However, that said, each training session is also customized to each individual client, addressing their unique goals, strengths, weaknesses and any previous physical injuries (for example, I started training with TNT Strength as I was just coming off P/T for hip replacement surgery). Additionally, my wife also trains with TNT Strength – she also raves about them and is why I initially tried them – but we’d both emphatically agree that our TNT training programs are absolutely customized for each of our unique (and different) goals and objectives.
Additionally, all TNT Strength trainers are both highly knowledgeable and very motivating (with the "how" to motivate people potentially changing by each individual). I’ve been trained by three out of the five (current) trainers and all are great -- although, I believe that my “standard” trainer, Ryan Salcedo, is absolutely fantastic and just “gets me.” Ryan/the other trainers at TNT regularly push me to reach new personal records, but always ensuring that I have proper exercise form, technique and timing. I’m at the point where I just do what Ryan/the other trainers tell me to and don't ask "why" – which is absolutely not my standard MO… 😉

Jesse, Liam, Eric & Ryan have made a huge difference in my fitness. Great program with focus on safety and strength gains. Workouts are tailored to ability and goals and meticulous records kept of time and weight progression for each exercise. I have had workouts with each trainer and they have all been great. Results are measured through results logged on their app and through body composition measurements using an InBody scale.

1/10/25 Update: It's been 9 months since my first session at TNT and I continue to see improvements in every physical activity that I do. Running, boot camp, and yoga kept me feeling healthy and fit through my thirties. Then came my forties when my metabolism and energy changed, and I started suffering multiple injuries. Over the past several months, I had worked mostly with Eric and Ryan, who are both dedicated, excellent and encouraging trainers. At the beginning of 2024, I received a shocking diagnosis of severe osteoporosis at age 58. I then learned that in order to strengthen my bones I must build more muscles. I had many criteria when I was searching for a trainer: the workouts must be effective (I was looking for progressive HIRT - High Intensity Resistance Training), must be located near home and in a safe neighborhood with easy parking, 1:1 training so I can strengthen my fragile bones safely without fracturing them, have a way to track progress, is not prohibitively expensive and possibly have some fun while doing it. 4 months into training twice a week, I will say TNT has met all my criteria, except maybe the “having fun” part. I have never trained with a trainer before and getting pushed repeatedly to fatigue physically is really far from my idea of fun but Liam sure tries to make the sessions interesting by switching up the training routines from day to day and I really appreciate his effort. The best part is the way the sessions are limited to 30 minutes – it’s over as you truly begin to feel the pain and burn. All the trainers at TNT are very easy going and nice yet professional and they cultivate a very positive environment. They chart your progress diligently on their ipads throughout your workouts and they have an InBody scanner to track your body composition changes. I feel empowered by the soreness after each session and encouraged by the InBody scanner showing I’m gaining muscles and losing fat. I’m determined to keep going and believe that the trainers at TNT can help me progress.

As someone who has always been hesitant about joining a gym due to the typical negative aspects (think dark, sweaty, dirty, and smelly environments), TNT was a breath of fresh air—literally! One of the standout features of TNT is the efficiency and effectiveness of their 30-minute sessions. I am sore! But in a great way! I have done various workouts in the last 20 years - and never really thought about strength training and how critical it is for overall health. The more I read about it benefits, the more I see this as THE most valuable tool for well being. The coaches are amazing and top notch! My coach Eric refuses to hear my grumbles (that weight is too heavy! i can't give you one more rep! but then he somehow gets it out of me!) He pushes me, harnesses my potential, and moves me beyond my limitations. He is encouraging, non-judgmental and sincere in wanting to get you to be your best and be strong. The rest of the coaches are great, funny, encouraging, and supportive. The workouts are never the same, never stays in your comfort zone, and truly results oriented. I started with TNT for bone health and tests has shown that my bone density has increased. Strength training does really work but it needs to be done consistently and that's why I go to TNT. Over the last 4 years ago, I gained approximately 35 pounds and have struggled to get back in shape. I’ve tried working out on my own, but could not keep up with a consistent routine. I finally decided to join TNT Strength about 3 months ago, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made this year. I don’t have a lot of extra time in my schedule with work in mental, sports officiating (referee for basketball and lacrosse), keeping up with home duties, and trying to have a little fun. I’m just getting back into exercising after a long time so it’s been important to me that Jesse always takes me where I am with no judgment—only encouragement and support. He pushes me but he knows just how hard to push (and it turns out that I can do a lot more than I ever thought I could!). And throughout, he’s super careful about making sure that I do everything safely. He’s also very knowledgeable so I’ve learned a lot too. Initially, I was skeptical that half an hour once a week would change much of anything, but their short, intense workouts are very effective. These guys really know what they’re doing! After 18 years of shopping around I can say this is the best personal training experience of my life. I've been at TNT for a couple of years and, aside from the steady gains and progress toward my goals, I'm most impressed by the blend of expertise and flexibility TNT offers. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and the pros that run it (yes Liam, Jesse, and Taylor, I'm naming you guys :P ) - they are all excellent trainers, very patient, highly knowledgeable of proper mechanics, taking meticulous notes of adjustments with machines/body postures that are suitable for the client's needs and goals. This place truly is a neighborhood gem. It is safe, well lit, well ventilated, and very clean. I am only too happy to call this place my "workout sanctuary". Most of all, I feel proud to say I finally belong somewhere where everyone is treated as an individual, no judgements, no egos past the door. It's a great community to be a part of...so if you're looking for a no-frills-breath-of-fresh air gym, this is it!

This review is long overdue. I started training at TNT Strength in April 2022. I had never before done any kind of strength training but knew I wanted to learn how to get stronger, build muscle and to establish a regular practice of working out. The environment feels safe and non-judgemental. Taylor, Liam and Jesse all meet you where you are, listen to your goals and help you achieve them. It is never crowded with too many people in the gym at one time, the equipment is top-notch, the clientele is diverse and the vibe is positive and supportive. I've worked with Taylor since I joined last year and he has taught me how to (safely) push myself outside of my comfort zone. He has helped me get so much stronger and I can see the difference in my body. Most importantly, he has introduced me to a type of exercise that I actually look forward to doing. Another plus- it's a challenging workout that doesn't eat up too much time in the day. Highly recommend!

Excellent trainers. They’re experienced, attentive, and know when to push you to get stronger. In personal training, they will track the weights you lift for each exercise and increase each at a weekly pace. Would highly recommend both their group classes and personal training!

TNT has several core values and the entire staff embodies all of them. For me, in every workout session I particularly benefit from two of the core values: CONTINUOUS SELF-IMPROVEMENT and FUN.
Jesse Schmidt has been my trainer on a once a week basis since October 2020. He always makes me work hard and pushes me to do just a little more than I think I can—and he always makes me laugh a lot. I am definitely getting stronger and I always feel in a great mood at the end of each session. Because I am older, I have several arthritic joint limitations and Jesse is always thinking of new ideas to safely work around them.
What more can I say? TNT is terrific!!

This personal training studio is amazing! Not everyone wants to spend hours working out. Coming here, I get a complete workout in less than 30 minutes. The results have been amazing. Not only can you get a complete workout, they provide additional services where they can help you revamp your diet as well as work on your flexibility and conditioning. The programming here is grounded in decades of experience and is not faddish in any way. A 30 min, once a week addition with these guys, added to the rest of my routine, made a noticeable difference in my strength and posture.
