I've been working out with Tony for a little bit over a month and a half now and had specific goals to begin with. I am competing for Miss Universe Thailand this year, and my goal was to shed fat and tone up. Initial consultation was amazing, and Tony estimated that I could go from 122 lbs to 108 lbs in 3 months. That was the plan, until I found out I am moving to Thailand a lot sooner. With that being said, we took down my stats one last time this week before I have to leave for Thailand tomorrow. Starting from 2/23/22, I went from 122.8 lbs, 32.2% body fat, and 44.5 lean mass to 116.4 lbs, 23.6% bf, and 48.1 lean mass as of 4/5/22!

I am so happy with my results and shocked at how quickly I am reaching my goals. Not only did my physique improve, but so did my sleep and diet. I am sleeping much more soundly, and getting more hours of sleep every night. My diet has improved immensely, and I feel a lot healthier physically and mentally overall.

I worked out at Formula Fitness 2-3 times a week with Tony and Roger who are amazing trainers that care about your goals and workouts. On the other days, I did cardio on my own time. Before coming to Formula Fitness, I had not worked out in 2 years. The workouts definitely made you work but were still very doable. Tony also taught me about nutrition, and made sure I stayed on top of a well-rounded diet to reach my goals.

As for the gym itself, it is very clean and organized. All of the trainers there are so friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. After having been there for a little while, it feels like you are working out with friends and family. So if you are worried about feeling intimated working out in a new gym, you will not have that problem here!

Working out here has become the best part of my weekly routine, so I am really going to miss coming in person. But we will continue to train virtually while I am in Thailand, and I cant wait to see how much further I can take my results. 10/10 recommend! :)

Tony is a very experienced and knowledgable personal trainer. He doesn't just tell you what excercises to do, he explains to you why on an anatomy stand point. Tony also makes sure you do everything in a correct posture to prevent injuries and to make the most out of the work-out. He also gives amazing athlete recovery massages; making your body "feels like a million bucks". Big thumbs up!

For the past few months, I have been dealing with back pain mainly due to being very active playing basketball ( what can I say, I love the sport!). It has got to the point that I can no longer play the sport because of my back issue. I have seen my doctor countless times and all they typically do is, x-rays and medicine. Since I’m in my early 40’s, I don’t want to keep masking the problems over and over again, I just want to get this fixed!

Feeling of despair, I started looking up a personal trainer/physical therapist on Yelp. I came across Tony Tran Fitness, who caught my eye based on the positive reviews from other customers. I really like Tony’s Tran Fitness based on this and the fact that he works with his clients on a one to one basis. Other places seem to be more of a group environment and that’s not what I was looking for.

Making that decision, I gave Tony a call and he was very professional over the phone. I explained to Tony my situation and he asked if I had time to stop by so he can evaluate my physical condition. After an hour of his physical assessments, Tony smiled and said he can definitely help me. He showed me a few stretches to do at home and corrected a few stretches that I was doing incorrectly this whole time. Before I left, he asked me to hop onto the massage table so he can help me stretch out my hip flexor and other muscles that were irritating my lower back muscles. As soon as I got off the table, I felt instant relief around my lower back. Although this was just temporary, the pain was definitely a lot less than it was before. What a difference!

Tony suggested that I sign up for 10 sessions with him. I told him I wanted to sleep on it before I am committed to it. At no giving time, I wasn’t pressured by him in any given way to sign up at all. That night was the 1st night in 3 months I actually had a good night sleep. As soon as I woke up, I felt different, that constant nagging dull pain at the center of my lower back was gone. Although that dull pain was gone, I was still dealing with the annoying, but much fewer aches and pains around the other areas of my lower back. It made me realize that my back definitely has a lot more problems than I originally thought.

I decided to take up Tony’s suggestion and signed up for the 10 sessions and boy I’m glad that I did! By the 5th session, I was completely pain-free! Even though it is the right step on my journey to my physical health, working with Tony, I realized that I still have a lot of work to do and do not want to end up like this again.

Tony is not only excellent at what he does but very knowledgeable regarding health and fitness. He is very passionate and genuinely wants you to be healthy and strong. Overall he is just a great person and I would definitely recommend him!

I have trained with Tony for at least five years. I have specific joint issues and Tony is excellent in modifying my program to take into account my limitations. He is very professional as well as very knowledgeable not only about exercise and training methods but also has an excellent understanding of the biomechanics of the body. He also has a great sense of humor and a real concern for me as his student/client. He has been very flexible with my periodic need for schedule changes. You can’t find a better trainer than Tony Tran!

I've had other trainers before and Tony has a honest drive to see other meet their goals. Awesome trainer! Listens to your needs and works with you. Teaches you correct technique and form. Tony also helps with your diet, giving you suggestions. Love his workout app! Super simple to use and I like the fact that he has sample videos on how to perform an exercise. I totally recommend.

I have trained with Tony over the past 3 years. Results have been exceptional to say the least. He quickly evaluated my strengths and weaknesses and then put a program in place that I could manage as I had quite a heavy work schedule. He is articulate, technically competent and very understanding but firm in approach and holds you accountable. We have been training together these past few years and accomplished some amazing milestone as a result. I would highly recommend Tony. He is definitely head and shoulders above other trainers that I have tried!

I've been trying to get lean for the past few months now. I have LA Fitness and 24 hour fitness membership but always do the same weight routine. Tony Tran fitness is totally different than just weight lifting. He actually set a program that will fit my needed. I feel like my endurance levels has improve. If you want something than just weight lifting and same old gym routine. I recommend Tony Tran fitness and try him out.

I’ve trained with Tony on and off over the years. I consider myself pretty athletic I’ve done group workouts, boot camps, indoor spin,yoga you name it I’ve tried it. Personalized training with Tony is great bc he tracks your progress and keeps you accountable. He’s always learning and evolving to customize workouts that work for you to give you realistic results and expectations. I lost 15% body fat and am very happy with how I look and how strong I feel bc of working with Tony.
