Top Tyr Training is amazing! Ian brings so much motivation and energy to the workouts... you can tell he really wants you to succeed. He is super knowledgeable about the body and how it works. I love that the format is once a week, but it’s so effective that I was sore for days after. It’s a tough workout in the best way, and I left feeling stronger and accomplished. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something challenging, motivating, and results-driven!

I can not recommend Top Tyr training enough. Ian, Owen and Jenna are all great. They are very thoughtful and do a great job of addressing all your personal needs. I do the ARX which is resistance training. There is also personal training which is great especially if you have areas that need to be strengthened or have an injury. I have recommended Top Tyr to a lot of my friends who have asked how I have become so fit. I feel great and have a lot of stamina which helps in other sports I play.

Came by for an intro visit today. Signed up after that first demo. I think that it's going to be the real deal, at least for me. There's a price associated with it, but it's still less $ than a weekly personal trainer that delivers half the results.

BEST PERSONAL TRAINERS AROUND - no one, seriously, no one can compete with them on price, value, or time. Ridiculously high tech high efficiency training equipment (this is AI future stuff, people!) and the friendliest (but intense!) staff around.

You literally get a whole week's worth of weight training done in ONE session. You can Google "ARX" and find out more, but if you haven't tried it yet, seriously - just go in for a free trial workout.

Game-changer for busy professionals. Fantastic for crazy jacked people AND people that rarely work out (um, I'm the latter). I've gained so much functional strength, I get continual gains, and I'm consistent with weight training for the first time in my life!

Best of all, Jenna, Ian, and Owen are terrific trainers. They know this stuff like the back of their hand and can really get the best performance out of everyone that walks in. Epic epic epic.

The full experience at Top Tyr is not only immensely productive, quickly, but also supported by outstanding training experts who are intensely focused on each person's exact needs. It's interesting that precise routines are used via equipment which is over the top advanced such that results are extremely quick, and on the other hand, staff experts are with you to closely monitor (and encourage) best results.

I highly recommend not only the tools used in this studio, but more importantly, the experts who are with you and encourage you along the way!

Top Tyr is phenomenal training! And I know I am in really good hands with Ian and Jenna. I am recovering from a health issue that sidelined me for a few years and I knew I needed a certain kind of weight training that wouldn’t aggravate my body and would allow my own pacing. And I am getting way more than I imagined. The format of ARX is kind of mind blowing and super satisfying! I’m noticing my body conditioning is more balanced and the gains are quicker and stable. And it’s only 20ish minutes a week ! I walked in the door the first time excited to exercise again but really nervous and now I’m more confident in my body than I’ve been in years. And I am getting all the endorphin results of using the gym 4x a week. I’m energized, relaxed, and seeing muscles form I didn’t even know I had! Training at Top Tyr is not for the meek or the weak of mind or spirit. It takes tenacity and fierce dedication to rise to the physical challenge each week. I am working hard on building my interior castle as well as strengthening my body to meet my age with grace and I am getting the results I'm after at Top Tyr. It strengthens my mind and body, proving to myself that I can push beyond my limits and feel stronger and more alive week after week. That's what keeps me coming back! Results!! Top Tyr Training is excellent at listening to their clientele and recommending what he or she needs to work on to further reach their goal health wise. Ian and Jenna Johnson honestly care to advance your workouts form-wise, strength-wise, and mental health-wise by providing you with both professional personal fitness guidance to even personal "outside of the gym" home health advice. From a personal experience, I had a major surgery done that has hindered my training, but they have been so "top tyr" that it has helped me gain muscle to combat my atrophy. 6 out of 5 stars if I could rate them. They're extremely knowledgeable on the topics of personal fitness, to recovery, and even diet. Ian is a personal trainer and used to be the fitness manager before developing his own fitness studio where he can showcase his passion for training/improvement of numerous things (e.g. stance, form, stress, and diet). Highly recommend for any prospective health/fitness clientele.

My name is Chris Ottley and I believe in fitness. I recently had my first session at Top Tyr and my introduction into adaptive resistance training. To put it simply, this is as efficient, effective, and scientific as working out can be. All the equipment at this facility is cutting edge technology designed to drain every ounce of output you have for a full body work out in a matter of minutes. Every second of your workout is quantified and saved by the machine giving you direct and easy access to track your growth as you progress. All of that coupled with Ian’s knowledge from being a trainer for almost a decade gives you all the necessary tools to be the healthiest, most fit version of yourself that you can be and get there as quick and (most important) as safe as possible. I am thoroughly impressed with my experience here and will be back.

If you’re looking for a permanent gym and trainer you have found your spot! Ian is a phenomenal trainer and has insanely extensive knowledge. Not to mention that he and his wife Jenna are the most amazing company and couple you’ll ever meet. Ian and I started working out 1 on 1 a little over a year ago when I decided I was ready to shed the post pregnancy body and I couldn’t be happier with any of the results that have come from working out with him. He’s always been super attentive to my needs and consistently makes sure that I feel comfortable and confident in what I’m doing even if it’s challenging! I was super weary in the beginning and didn’t have a whole lot of confidence in my strength or ability because I didn’t have much strength. I used to think that in order to work out and have it be affective that you needed to leave drenched in sweat and unable to move the next day. I was shown here that that is definitely not the case. What genuinely had me hooked was the science and methodology behind Top Tyr Training. You will absolutely not find anything else like it. I can truthfully say that I have never felt so confident in a work out or in my body. There is not an ounce of time wasted here and in my opinion is fully worth it! I have trained with the owner of top tyr for years he helped me with a 70 pound weight loss and taught me so much about not only exercise but nutrition. I was also helped in building the muscle and endurance for boot camp and I didn’t have any issues once there. Not only does top tyr have amazing equipment but you will take things away from training there that will help you for years to come.

Top Tyr Training is a fitness experience for everyone. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The machines are effective for all fitness ranges. My trainer (Ian) is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. He takes the time to carefully coordinate a workout plan that is tailored to me and my goals. He spends time not only on helping me through the exercises, but educating me on the importance of good form and nutrition. He sends me encouraging communications throughout the week. He is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). I find I actually look forward to my workouts. I highly recommend Top Tyr Training. I love working out at Top Tyr Training, this place is truly incredible every machine works at the highest point of excellence. You’re getting a phenomenal work out just off of one machine, which can be personalized to your own goals. Other than personalizing your own goals for your work out there is no risk of injury which is amazing in my book. Let me start by saying this is the first time I've been excited about working out in years and if I'm being honest maybe ever! I'm someone who would go to the gym off and on, do an hour of cardio, use a few machines incorrectly and leave as soon as possible. Working with Jenna and Ian with help of the ARX ( adaptive resistance exercise) machine and CAROL bike has completely changed my outlook on fitness.

Their moto is "Train Effectively, Train Efficiency" which perfectly encompasses the practices used at Top Tyr. You dont need to spend hours here to feel the full body effects of these workouts. 8 minutes of HIIT on the CAROL equates to a 40 minute session on a traditional stationary bike. The real show stopper however is the ARX machines. You spend about 10 minutes give or take, of active exercise on each machine and after you feel a full body workout that would easily take 3+ hours at a traditional gym.

I love this machine because it's a very equalizing piece of equipment. You could be a strong man competitor or an off and on exerciser like myself and you are going to look the same using ARX. This is because what you put into the machine is what you get out of it. It calibrates to you resistance which with the assistance of Ian, leaves little to no room for injury. I've used this machine all of three times and I already feel a significant increase in strength and tone.

I couldn't recommend this studio enough. Ian is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the human body and really takes the time to explain and work with you in order to create your best physical self. Going to Top Tyr Training has really shifted my perspective on physical fitness and after each workout I look forward to the next time I step through their doors. Do yourself a favor and book a session, it may change your life!

Best workout experience ever! Ian has been incredibly helpful and patient in coaching and educating me on how to have proper form, as well as which muscle to target to help strengthen my weak back. I love that each workout is statistically graphed, and week after week I can compete against my own personal record. So glad to finally find a place that fits my workout needs! Top Tyr Training is a facility like no other, they are extremely welcoming, sanitary, and truly keep your health and well-being front of mind. I have had the pleasure of experiencing these amazing machines and the expertise of Ian, their head trainer, while working through full body work outs in record time, being aware of prior injuries and working muscle groups that have not been worked in a very long time. As an ex-athlete that had a career ending injury that has resulted in multiple surgeries and an ongoing auto immune disorder I have never felt so confident in pushing my limits to the absolute furthest they can go, while not having to worry about my knee. The technology these machines are equipped with is far beyond anything I could ever wrap my head around. I look forward to seeing my progress and increasing my strength with each session at Top Tyr Training.

I feel like I can speak for many newcomers to exercise and working out - it can be a daunting, overwhelming, and seemingly impossible task to understand, much less be good at! I can’t count how many times I have tried to start a routine, only to quit a week or two in because I’m just too sore to move, or feeling like I just don’t understand HOW to properly work out. This training studio has changed all of that.

From personal training sessions with Ian, riding the stationary bike, and using the ARX machines, I have already seen improvements in both my overall strength and confidence. The workouts are relatively short - just 10 minutes on the bike, and about 20 minutes on the machine- for a full on, heart-pumping exercise session. You couldn’t ask for something easier to get yourself back into the game. Since the machines automatically adapt to your strength level over time, you’ll never feel like you’re not doing enough, or too much.

I would recommend this studio to anyone looking to improve their exercise routine- whether you’re new to exercise or experienced - you will benefit from all they have to offer!
