This is more than just a workout. Itβs a magical combination of instructor, programming, lighting, music, and people.
You will rotate from the treadmill to the floor incorporating cardio and strength training. The rotations are fast ensuring you never get bored. The treadmill work is challenging and incorporates speed & incline changes. The floor work will provide a total body workout and will incorporate a variety of equipment including Dumbbells, TRX bands, BOSU Balls, Steps, Battle Ropes, Resistance Bands, Dynamax Balls, Agility Ladders, Body Weight Exercises, and More.

I love the work out at TTF. always challenging. Coaches are great. friendly front desk and they helped me when I had to freeze my membership. I recommend this studio for those who are looking for HIIT and something challenging. similar to Orange Theory (mix of cardio and weight) but no rowing machine, more weight training. They have BOSU, rope, TRX, band, Ab Dolly and more. Everyday is different and time goes by pretty quick.

This is a great gym. The customer service unfortunately is disappointing and they will do anything to retain members including lying to you over the phone about promos and membership cancellation/hold policies. Was told by two separate employees the membership was 'on hold' for a medical reason however they kept the reoccurring charge and would not refund. All they had to do was make it right and use basic customer service tactics, but they lost 2 members to another gym. Good Luck to you all - Hope this helps!

I love Total Trainingβs classes and instructors, but I just canβt justify $40 a WEEK for classes when other gyms are $40 (or less) a month. Of course you're paying for the instruction in all of their classes, but it just hurt my wallet too much to continue :(

I have been coming to Total Training for a while now and it has been really great. The trainers are all wonderful and have high energy to motivate you to run a little faster or push a little harder. The workout format is great -- half the time you are on the floor lifting weights, doing plyo or TRX, etc. and the other half of the time you are doing cardio on the treadmill. I HATE running by nature but it is not so bad when you break it up in the HIIT intervals so I actually don't mind it now and kind of look forward to the cardio portion of the class.
I also like how organized the class is and you know exactly what you are doing, when you are doing it and how long you are doing it for. The lights are dark inside which is unlike any other gym I've been to. It's not as dark as a spin class but they have darker lighting and also fun lights that match the beat of the music.
I love that I can just get in and get out in under an hour. There are also a ton of class times which is nice in case you get stuck at work or want to sleep in on Saturday morning but you can still go in for a workout class. The gym is family-owned and the owners are great! Oh, did I mentioned that I lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks?! YES!!!!

The trainers are top notch and make it so much fun. The equipment is also in great shape. Love working out here! It's been a few weeks and it still never gets old. Each workout is so different. Even 8 minutes on the treadmill goes by fast. The class is challenging yet doable. The trainers go over each workout before we begin and ensures you're doing it right. It's a fantastic workout! The classes are also available at great times. There's always a class that works for my schedule.

Love the trainers and the workouts but the gym is simply way too crowded. They encourage you to sign up for the class but if you don't, they will not turn you away. The last class I went to had 3 people signed in when I arrived but 10 people already warming up. The result is people attempting to work out in a gym the size of a nail salon with no more space between them than literal elbow room. Not nearly enough to do the burpees or other room intensive exercises they want you to without constantly stopping your motion, waiting for the person next to you to do a rep, do yours, and hope they don't hit you too. It really slows down your workout. I expressed my frustration at how overcrowded it was and was told to come to a different class. All the evening classes are overbooked, they have limited/close early schedule on Friday-Sunday. So that leaves early AM classes before work, 4 days a week, no break. And they recommend coming 3-5 days a week for best results. I cancelled my resolution membership. If they move to a larger facility or start enforcing the sign up counts, I would definitely return but not before then.

I love everything about Total Training! The atmosphere is fabulous. The studio is kept really clean. The trainers are so nice, outgoing, motivating, and helpful. I've been coming for a couple of months, and am really enjoying the workouts and the atmosphere. I was getting so bored of my regular routine, and having something new to do is making me so much more motivated to workout. The workouts are challenging, keep me on my toes, go by very quickly, and I feel good after I've finished one - like I got a great full body workout (and in a short amount of time). The workouts move between running on the treadmill in fairly short increments (guided by a trainer), and the floor (using weights, BOSU balls, bands, ab dollyβs, and an assortment of other things), and each one is always different. The trainers/instructors are very positive and motivating, which helps a lot, too. I look forward to the classes and I canβt imagine going back to running on the treadmill by myself! Looking forward to continuing!

They got me to look forward to a high intensity workout! I am generally opposed to fitness in general because I'd rather eat Cheetos but this is beyond ok; it's a great motivating and positive use of my sparse free time.
I joined more to combat my anxiety and insomnia than lose weight and it's worked great! I have definitely have also,as a side effect, seen gains in my physical fitness; i was opposed when they told me running was involved and now I look forward to the sprints! Wonders never cease.
I have down days when I'm crawling like a sloth through the daily workout and they don't judge; they know that we all are working with our bodies as they allow us. And they offer modifications for the uncoordinated (me) and do not publicly shame us for taking it at our level yet do encourage us to reach our limits and be honest with our strengths.
Amenities: always clean workout space, not stinky(how? Magic I suppose), clean workout tools, lockers, filtered water and cups in case you forget yours , hair bands if you forgot one, two unisex bathrooms with stuff to help you spiff up enough to run the adulting errands we must, no showers currently but not a deal breaker considering what you leave with. Cold pressed juices and supplements available for purchase, encouragement, and high fives. Oh! Heart rate monitors so you can track your process available for loan or if you sign up long term.
You'll need a high impact sports bra if you're a busty gal cuz no black eyes!

I'm a survivor! Last night I was enjoying a high intensity workout at Total Training Bootcamp. I ran the treadmill at various speeds and did many core motions and pushups. This morning all I could think was hello shoulders and chest I didn't know you were there. Needless to say I skipped my morning workout but I really gave it my all in last night class. I didn't crash until the last leg lift. My 24 hour True Grit instructor would be proud since I managed to hang in there. As for lunges and treadmills you are still my nemesis.
Thank you Total Training! I look forward to the 1 week trial. Thank you for another great fit event. It is always a challenge and I find pain in muscles I never knew I had. The ON drinks, zico coconut water, and Veggie Grill really helped after the workout as we all sat there silently try to catch our breath and retain our energy for consuming healthy substances. ON Drinks are very addictive and provide great energy. I didn't drink one last night but I was so pumped that it took me a few hours to sleep. So much for my goal of sleeping 7 to 8 hours. It's a dream I probably will never achieve. Until next time let's all keep working out to reduce the shock of the next event.

Total Training is one of the best things I have ever done! I signed up for Total Training about two months ago. I initially signed up for a 1 month unlimited membership and, because I saw results fast, I signed up for a 6 month membership. I'm with Tammy until the end of the year! I lost almost 10 pounds so far and I'm confident I will keep losing.
The classes are great and they are designed to fit anyone's schedule. I go to the 5:30 p.m. class in Irvine, but they offer several class times in several locations. The Irvine location offers 5:30, 6:30, 9, 5:30, and 6:30. You literally just have to show up to class and you'll leave feeling energized by a great workout!
The workouts are awesome. It's different everyday and you work out different muscles. The trainers are motivating (Tammy is amazing) and there's no yelling which is what most people associate boot camp with. I would recommend Total Training to everybody. It's a great workout for both men and women for all fitness levels. It's not easy, but it's effective and motivating. I'm always excited to go to boot camp after work. Not only am I getting a good workout, but I'm working out with a great group of people who are also motivated.
Highly recommend! If you're hesitant about committing to a whole month, you can sign up for a $10 1-week trial. Either go to the website or drop in. I guarantee you will see results and so does Tammy!

I was a bigger girl all my life, and I tried to lose weight so many times on my own, without success. Before I started with Tammy my patience had almost come to an end, but I decided to give her bootcamp a try. I went about 4-5 times a week, I listened to her eating advice (she gives you a nutrition packet, and also talks to you about what foods you should avoid for maximum results). She also measured me before I started. I could NOT believe that I had lost 2 inches on my arms, and an inch on my stomach (the hardest part on your body to get rid of) after only the first month. I went from 176 lbs to 165 lbs in about 2 months. Unfortunately I had a lower back injury and couldn't attend for a couple months, but I came back to her and now I am down to 153 lbs, and feeling better than ever! Enough said, if you want satisfying fitness results in a great environment where the trainer doesn't scream at you and becomes your friend, this is the place to go.
