I've been working with my trainer, Jake, at the Laguna Hills location for about a month now and I couldn't be happier with my workouts and my progress. Jake pushes me just the right amount, so I never feel overwhelmed, nor do I ever feel I'm just going through the motions. In addition, he answers all of my questions easily and knowledgeably. He's good humored and respectful at all times. Two other points I want to make. I really appreciated the Intro deal so that I could work with Jake several times up front. Other trainers I interviewed offered a one-time free session, which was usually just a goal-setting discussion and consultation. With TWD, I was able to actually work out and experience Jake's style, skill and professionalism, and so when the time came, I was confident in my decision to go with him and TWD. And finally, the gym where we work out, while being a serious gym, has been welcoming and accepting. I never feel intimidated by anyone, either staff or other gymgoers.

Jake is very patient and will explain everything to you as many times you need. He won’t shame you or make fun of you for not knowing even the most basic workouts. I've been training with Jake for just over two months, and his deep knowledge of fitness and nutrition has consistently impressed me.

Jake is great at tailoring workouts to my specific goals and fitness level, pushing me to go heavier and become stronger without ever making me feel overwhelmed. He's also quick to identify when something might not be working and helps make the right adjustments. They have a defined training program - from the personalized weight lifting, to nutrition and calorie breakdown, and most importantly for me, accountability. I had never worked out at a gym before but wanted to learn how, lose some weight, and get in shape before I turn 50 next year. The idea of going to a gym has always been super intimidating: all of the different equipment and creepy dudes (sorry guys) just seemed like too much. But the reviews made it sound like this would be a place I might actually like. I met with Dave and explained my goals and concerns and he paired me up with Dominic. I can’t say enough good things about Train With Dave! Dominic was so patient in the beginning (I literally couldn’t do a squat lol) and in just two months I have decreased my body fat % 7 pts (13 lbs), gained 3 lbs of muscle and I am establishing a new healthy lifestyle and having a lot of fun doing it. Everyone at the gym has been really nice and supportive and it’s a safe and fun environment. I can’t recommend Train With Dave enough.

Even acquaintances are starting to notice how much my strength and muscular mass have increased since I started going to the gym with them.

When you sign up, measurements are taken on a regular basis, and everything—including your workouts, which come with instructional videos—is managed through an excellent app. Stefan does a fantastic job maintaining my proper posture and customizing my exercise regimen. Plus, the other trainers are excellent. With so much equipment available, the gym is never overly busy because it is by appointment only.

I'm very happy that I found Train With Dave -- I focused my search on facilities that had trainers with degrees and they came out on top after cross-referencing reviews.

They took me from zero gym experience to significantly boosting my strength and muscle mass -- it's at the point where even acquaintances are starting to notice.

When you join, they take measurements periodically and everything is managed in a great app, including your workouts, complete with how-to videos. Dominic does a great job personalizing my workout program and keeping my posture correct. The other trainers are great too. The gym equipment is plentiful and since it's by appointment only it's never too crowded. It's clean and well organized.

If you're in the same situation I was (wanting to find the best place to start a lifelong gym habit), I objectively do not know of a better place to start than here.

I have been training at this location for the past few months with Dominic and it has truly been amazing. The facilities are top of the line and the location is perfect. They truly go out of their way to work around my busy schedule full of social events and traveling but have been able to keep me accountable to my goals. My experience at Train With Dave has been nothing but amazing! I have the privilege of training with Jacob and since working out with him I've noticed a massive difference in my health, body, and overall energy. Jacob customizes my workouts based on my goals and while working out, corrects my form and helps me engage the correct muscle groups to obtain the best results. I also had an incident a few years ago that caused me to have chronic low back pain and he's helped improve it so much by giving me exercises to help strengthen my low back and teaching me how to stretch it out before exercising. I'm thankful for this experience because not only does he customize each workout to my goals and teaches me correct form, he also helps me with nutrition. One of my faults is I'm a huge snacker and he always recommends healthy alternatives with protein to ensure I meet my goals! Jacob is so informative when it comes to exercises, proper form, nutrition and is flexible with scheduling! He always reaches out to confirm training & it honestly helps me with staying accountable! At train with Dave you get so much more than just working out with a personal trainer, it's an investment for overall better health physically and mentally! I couldn't recommend this place enough.

I have been training with Stefán for over three years now and till this day I still look forward to coming in and train with him. The different workouts he comes up with challenges me and I absolutely LOVE it. I learned a lot in terms of form and diet. Even when I’m working out by myself, I don’t feel nervous.
