About the Club

Over 50 years combined experience, thousands of past clients trained, and a whole lot of love. The story of Train With Dave is a wild one. It started with Dave, a self-proclaimed health nut, and his passion for fitness and helping others. With humble beginnings, Dave became a personal trainer in 2009 to eventually work his way up to a management position in one of the top personal training gyms in the nation. Disagreeing with their dollars over people philosophy, Dave started his own business in 2016. Now, 6 years later, we’ve learned that our greatest journey of helping people sustainably lose weight is just getting started

Been going to TWD for almost a year now and it has been a fantastic decision. I truly appreciate the science based approach to both nutrition and training. My goals have pivoted during the past year as health issues came up outside of the gym. My trainer has quickly pivoted to my new goals. I came in with absolutely zero experience. My only athletic endeavors previously have been swimming. I felt completely out of place in the gym. I had absolutely no idea what to do with myself in there. I've slowly and consistently been getting stronger and stronger. I think the mark of a great trainer is one who knows how hard to push to get you consistent gains but keeps you from pushing so hard you get injured and sidelined. I've watched so many friends fall off the horse and never get back on. It's been great to be surrounded by supportive people who don't make me dread going to the gym. I have been going to TWD for 5 months now and have had a very good experience with Train with Dave. My Trainer Luke, is exceptional and provides evidence based workouts every day I am at the gym. Luke helps me make and keep reasonable goals while evaluating my progress day to day. I’ve been training with Peyton for the last few weeks and am having a great time. He’s super encouraging, makes sure I have the proper form to prevent injury, and is awesome about mixing things up so I don’t get bored. My trainer Peyton is not only very knowledgeable about the human form and what it can do but he is also very personable and he makes my workouts fun. I have an injury that could possibly limit some of the exercises that I do and he has taken this into account from day one and has actually strengthened that part of my body by crafting a workout that specifically enhances the strength in that area. I have never regretted my decision joining Train With Dave! I had started about 2-3 years ago and decided to stop and came back about a month and a half ago. Let me start by saying that life these past few years have been challenging, especially since I lost my dad unexpectedly last year. The grieving process has been complex and while it had been easy for some time to put aside my holistic wellbeing, I made the decision to seek out TWD services for myself as an act of self-compassion. Wanted to give a shout out to my Trainer, Justin Javien at Train with Dave! Since working with him he has made me feel like I can push myself to higher limits. He asks
Me how my weight feels after reps and I am honest with him on whether I feel I can increase weights. He moves me up a notch (or two) and I am amazed at my accomplishment. He's there to tell me great job! Great workout! He sends me reminder messages the night before my session. (Because I do need them) Monitors my meals and will let me know what I may intake in replacement meals and always ready to greet me in mornings. Michael has worked so incredibly hard to train me; I don't even know where to start.
I started working out with Michael in late October of 2020. At the beginning, I didn't know how to work out properly to get the results I desired, but Michael was able to assist me in achieving that objective.
Given that not even my own sister can put up with me, lol, he is amazingly patient. Because of his extensive knowledge, he has already provided an answer to every question I could think to ask. He's also hilarious, so our sessions never get dull. Despite the fact that I detest doing out, I actually enjoy working out with him.

I had an amazing first month of training with Kenny; I shed 6 pounds of body fat and gained 3 pounds of muscle. Dave has created something special in that is not being done by any other personal training facility or company. I've worked with David for the previous eight years, and nothing even comes close to this. He has always prioritized the needs of others, which is unusual in our industry.
